Six Degrees - Who the F*ck is Bone Saw?!
Welcome to the final episode of Six Degrees season 4. It’s been a little over a year since I started this thing and I’d like to think it’s going well. However, with that in mind, I want this to be so much more. So, I won’t be releasing season 5 until October. I’d like to make a concerted effort to have more interviews in person and with people that I really don’t know. No worries though, TMOL is making a comeback.  You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Sanzo Says So
First off, I’d like to apologize to anyone that may have actually been looking forward an episode last week. With Thanksgiving and a trip down to NYC directly after, I decided to push the episodes back a week. That being said, this week’s interview is with a good friend of mine: Mike Bennett, or as I’ve become accustomed to calling him “Sanzo”. With all of the biopics that have been coming out, it got me thinking. Would someone be so desperate to want to make my life into a film? And if so, who would I even want to be casted as me? Six Degrees - Wake Up
Whenever you talk to someone about their favorite story, whether it’s TV, movies, video games, comics or books, they always talk about how they would navigate things that happen in the story. Six Degrees - Did Hitler Actually Die?
So here we are: the last bonus episode of season 3. Season four is almost finished and should be ready for everyone to listen to next week! This week’s episode is the question that my good friend Freeman asked me. And of course, it had to do with time travel. Which was a recurring theme for season 3. If you could travel to any time and see any event, what would it be. I’m pretty sure he didn’t word it like that but it’s the gist of the question. I’d like to turn that question over to you. I don’t expect an answer back from you but think about it, you might learn something about yourself. So, before I start rambling, let’s start the episode. I’m Tom and welcome to Six Degrees. Six Degrees - What's Your Sign?
Welcome back, all you fine people that listen, to the third bonus episode of season three. This week’s episode is coming to you from the very beginning of this season. If for some reason you’re listening to this but haven’t listened to any of the third season, you should probably go and listen to that because well spoilers ahead. We’re going to be taking a look back at the conversation I had with Amanda Shea who is uber talented and grinds like nobody’s business. Get my thoughts on not only astrology but why I started this podcast. I’m Tom and welcome to Six Degrees. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Tek No Law Jik
So here we are, another week closer to season four and you, my friends, get another bonus episode. This question is also from the second season and features my close friend Law. We talk about tech that we thought would already be here and what we’re hoping for in the future. This was a really interesting question for me because of how we ended up looking at potential downsides to the tech as well as the upsides. But I pass those questions to you, I don’t expect a response, but just think about it. You might learn something about yourself. And remember, everything has its downsides, but do they outweigh upsides? I’m Tom and welcome to Six Degrees. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Lucky 13
Hey, hey, it’s episode lucky 13. I’m trying something a bit new for what happens in between seasons. Instead of radio silence, we’re going to revisit some of my favorite questions that I’ve been asked by the people that I interviewed over the last couple of seasons. This week we’re going to revisit the question that Kevin Lacerda, (of Damn Nation), asked me in season two: What is the favorite era of your life so far? So without further ado, I’m Tom and welcome to episode lucky number 13 of Six Degrees. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Will the Real Danny Darko Please Stand Up
Welcome my friends, to the show that never ends! Well, actually this is technically the last episode of season three but I’ve got some personal favorite questions I was asked over the past two seasons that I wanted to take a closer look at. But before we get to that, we have the Danny Roman episode. Danny is one of my favorite people. We’ve done a lot of cool stuff together. We started We The Geek together and that blossomed into Geek Ronin. And there is so much right now that Geek Ronin is doing, (I promise though, everyone will know very soon what we’ve been working on). You’ve also heard his name every week for the last two seasons, because he is the man behind my current logo. Danny is a fantastic artist with a very weird style. A style that I really admire. He’s smart, kind, hilarious, talented, thoughtful and so much more. I could say more but I’ll let our hour long conversation speak for itself. I’m Tom and you are now entering the Danny Roman episode of Six Degrees. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Custom Cakes by Kristy
Hi-diddily-ho there neighbors, this is the second to last episode of season three and it’s a pretty fucking good one. This week you get to hear my conversation with Kristy, or as I like to call her “cake pop”. I met cake pop around this time last year down in Long Island New York at what was then called Comic Bar Con and what is now called The Indie Art Show, (shout out to Peat and Brendon of Fat Guy Inc for putting on fantastic shows). She was selling, you guessed it, cake pops. See at that point she was working at a law firm and baking on the side. Fast foward to a few weeks, if not sooner, before our interview she had quit her job and began baking full time. Now this could not have happened to a better lady. She’s outgoing, driven, funny talented and she’s a huge fan of Fringe, (if you don’t know about that show, a. You need to look that shit up and b. She already has one up on you in my book). Without further ado, I’m Tom and I present to you the Kristy aka Cake Pop episode of Six Degrees. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Dan, The Man With The Plan... Kinda
Sup fools, you’re currently reading to the intro for the fourth of six interviews here on this fine, (if I do say so myself, which I do), podcast. And this interview is with none other than my younger brother Dan. Now, what can one say about someone they’ve known for the better part of 25 years? There are so many things I could say. All of them good. He’s incredibly intelligent, (more so than me), and very driven when he wants to be. It’s honestly kind of tough because I feel like I’m describing myself in a way because we both have so much influence over each other in regards to humor, music, sports and just about anything else I can think of. It’s like describing a better version of me to you and it almost feels disingenuous. Regardless of that kind of weird point, I’ve seen Dan grow up and become a fantastic guy who always cares about others and loves to make people laugh, (even if our humor is a bit dark and morbid lol). So I’ll stop rambling now and we’ll get on with the show. I’m Tom and this is the Dan Lapierre episode of Six Degrees. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Marc "The Jarrett" Fucking Freeman, Google That Shit
Greetings and salutations my loyal 8-10 listeners. We’ve gathered today for the third full interview of season 3. The interview that I speak of is with none other than Marc “The Jarrett” Fucking Freeman, (google that shit). I met Freeman in 2007 while I was working a brief stint at Friendly’s, back when you could actually find one. We became fast friends and have had many, many adventures including a ridiculous 21st birthday where he somehow managed to get more drunk than me and proceeded to tell everyone at the party that he worked black ops and would kill anyone who relayed this message to anyone outside of the party, (side note: everyone from that party is still living and I’m not sure he’ll remember that he did that until he listens to this). All joking aside, Freeman is easily one of my closest and most reliable friends. We may not talk for stretches of time but whenever we do pick up the conversation again, it’s like I saw him yesterday. He’s a kind, generous, outgoing, hardworking, intelligent and hilarious guy that always has an interesting perspective on whatever we’re talking about. I'm Tom and this is the Marc Freeman episode of Six Degrees. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - The Art of Kimbo
Happy Merica Day everyone, hope everyone still has all of their digits and limbs. This week is the second of the full interviews and it’s with one of my favorite people: Kimbo Henry. I met Kimbo a few years back at a convention, (I want to say it was Inbeon Con), and we were pretty much friends right off the bat. This guy has some serious art chops and usually knows the best way to troll you. Whenever I talk to him or see him, he’s always got something interesting or thought provoking to say. When he’s not pushing people’s buttons on social media or kicking ass and taking names in his game of choice, he’s one third of the webcomic “You Can’t Be Serious”, (which you can find on inbeonmag.com). I’m sure he does a bunch of other stuff but I try not to get too much into the man’s business. He’s intelligent, skilled, funny and almost always willing to have a conversation. If you aren’t following any of his social media, you’re missing out. I'm Tom and welcome to the Kimbo Henry episode of Six Degrees You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Amanda Shea All Day
Here we are again, the beginning of the second half of the season. If you’ve been listening for any number of episodes you would know by now what’s going to happen next. If you’re just joining the show, I suggest you at least go back to the beginning of this season, if not the beginning of the series to really grasp what’s about to happen, but you don’t have to if you don’t want to. This week’s episode is the first of the six full conversations with the people you’ve been listening to for the last six weeks. Amanda Shea was the first person I interviewed for this season and it was an absolute pleasure to be able to talk to her. If you listen to LFOD Radio, (head back to season one to listen to Uncle Sam’s answers he’s the founder and host of LFOD), you’ve undoubtedly heard Amanda. This lady is a fucking beast and I mean that in the absolute best way possible. Not only does she co-host LFOD Radio, but she’s a poet, a model, an activist, a promoter and manager, not to mention a mainstay in the Boston Hip Hop community. This amazing, intelligent, thoughtful, driven lady took time out of her busy day to talk to me and answer my outlandish questions about time travel and other crazy shit. I’m Tom and welcome to the Amanda Shea episode of Six Degrees. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Wait, Back to the Future is Bullshit?
Is time a giant flowing river that will change course if you alter it? Is it a giant network of infinite streams? Is time really a thing or is it just a construct? Is Back To The Future bullshit? What about Bill and Ted or Fringe or Sliders? While we’re at it, did Avengers: Endgame get it right? What is Deja vu?  All of these questions get touched upon in this week’s episode, the halfway point of season three. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. Six Degrees - Senses Fail, Not Just A Catchy Band Name
Have you ever been asked the question: If you had to lose either your sight or hearing, which would you choose? How impossible of a choice is that? I mean, obviously there are people that are born blind or deaf, but having to choose, almost seems cruel. Well, what if I upped the ante and had you choose from you five senses. What would you be willing to go without? Never mind blindness or deafness, would you be able to go without being able to physically feeling anything? Could you bear to lose your sense of smell? Better yet, could you go without being able to taste the food you eat? This is the topic of this week’s episode. You can find me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and my website. If you could find out how and when you'd die, would you want to know? I'm not talking crazy specifics, but basic info. Six Degrees - This Is A History Report, Not A Babe Report
History is a funny thing. We know so much and yet so little about people that we learn about in middle and high school from textbooks or from documentaries or biographies. Wouldn’t it be interesting to be able to travel to a place and time that isn’t our own and talk to someone that we know of but don’t really know? Whether to meet a hero, pick the brain of an innovator or even to find out where you came from? That is the topic of this week’s episode. Six Degrees - Remember When Buying An Album Was A Thing?
Remember when buying an album was a thing? Like before Napster and Limewire, you actually had to go out and purchase an album. It was actually a pretty awesome experience, holding the cd or tape in your hands and listening to it in the car or at home. It was even sweeter when you bought it with your own hard earned money. Well, that is the topic of this weeks episode. For part two of a bonus double interview, head to Geek Ronin's YouTube channel on Monday 5/27. Six Degrees - Usagi Yo-Craig? Nah, Just Craig.
And so, we arrive here at the end of season two with the final full interview. This was a very interesting conversation I had with a gentleman that I met last year at a convention up in Maine. He’s a fantastic artist and his name is Craig Holland. Now, I’m going to level with you here, I really don’t know Craig all that well. But to be honest I kinda like the idea of interviewing people that I either barely know or don’t know at all because I have no preconceived notion of what they may answer and let me tell you Craig did not disappoint. He’s a nice guy, a talented artist, someone easy to have a conversation with and has a fantastically odd but endearing sense of humor. It was a pleasure to meet him last year and I feel like we had a great conversation for this show. I hope our paths cross again, sooner rather than later.  You can find Craig on instagram @chollandart and his websites: chollandart.bigcartel.com and craighollandillustration.com. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. These two seasons have definitely been learning filled and next season will get even better with the addition of YouTube content. Thanks to Danny Roman of Successfully Failing Studios for the artwork. You can follow him on Instagram @therealdannydarko and on Twitter @iamdannydarko. Thanks to Uncle Sam from LFOD, (and the first season), for letting me use the song “You Can Still Call” off of 24in24. The song was written and performed by Time and Lepp and produced by Pure Fact. You can find that and other music on their SoundCloud and you can also listen to LFOD Radio, (which I produce), on the very same app you’re listening to this podcast on, just hit subscribe and listen.  Oh, and before I forget: head over to Inbeon.com, check out what they can do for you, (which is a lot. TMOL 4 - So You Wanna Start A Podcast?
So you want to start a podcast? I'm going to do my very best to explain the basics to you. There will be a lot of rambling, but my hope is that I will get my point across in the best way that I can: by giving you the knowledge that I've accumulated over the last several years and still am. This episode will focus on the two basic things that you will need before you even start recording: the "how" and the "why". How are you going to present your podcast and why should people listen. I feel like I've got my "how" down pretty good, but I'll admit the "why" is still a bit difficult for me. But hey, we can learn together right? Stay tuned for more, (hopefully weekly), episodes.

Six Degrees - Thomas, Your 1976 Bates High School Prom King
Two weeks left in Season 2 and this week’s episode features a friend with a familiar name. I met Thomas at a show in Boston on Thanksgiving weekend in 2016. I had gotten the tickets for my brother and I but wasn’t able to make it. The downstairs at the Middle East was decorated in the likeness of the Bates High School prom from the movie Carrie. We were there to see a band that we both have a mutual love for Ice Nine Kills. Thomas showed up in a white suit and was actually voted Prom King that night and was invited up on stage for one of their last songs “Hell in the Hallways”, (which is based on Carrie). Thomas and I became fast friends and have been ever since. He’s a kind, generous, outgoing, funny, energetic guy who always seems to see the bright side of situations. It’s been awesome knowing him and hopefully we see each other again, sooner rather than later. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. Six Degrees - When Life Gives Katie Lemons, She Pins Life Down and Squeezes the Juice in its Eyes
We are officially in the final three weeks of season two and halfway through the full interviews. This week is someone that I met when I first started dating my wife. Katie was/is one of my wife's sorority sisters. We’ve been friends for quite a bit and I’ve seen her grow from a timid young woman into a tough, take no shit type of lady. Don’t get me wrong, she is still and always has been the funny, goofy, kind, intelligent, mindful, loving, driven, caring lady that I met more than ten years ago but when life gave her lemons, she pinned life down and squeezed the juice into its eyes. It’s always been a fun time talking with Katie and this conversation was one of my favorite I’ve had. I’m Tom and you’re listening to Six Degrees. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. Six Degrees - A Faylene Kevin
This week is the third of the full interviews and I’m very excited to release this full conversation. I’ve known Kevin in varying degrees for the last decade plus. I actually met him while I was interning at a now defunct indie record label in Boston. They were putting on these huge show/events with like 20 bands and one of the first ones was Kevin’s then band “A Faylene Sky”. We lost touch for a bit and then I found his current band, under their old name “It Lives, It Breathes”, and it was like I’d just seen him yesterday. Kevin is still fronting this band under their new name “Damn Nation”. I’ll give you the details on where to find them after the interview. Kevin is an absolutely fantastic singer and front man. Not only that, he’s a really great friend. He’s come onto my other podcast “Geek Ronin” and “We The Geek” to talk comic and pop culture with us and is ever knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. Kevin is driven, hardworking, funny, articulate, opinionated and sometimes can be an asshole but honestly who isn’t? It is always a pleasure to talk to the man and this conversation was no exception, enjoy. You can find Kevin and his band on social media, just search for Damn Nation on Facebook/twitter/instagram and at damnnationrock.com and you can follow him on IG as well at @iamkevinlacerda. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. Welcome to the second half of season two of Six Degrees. This week is the second of the full interviews. This week is someone who I’ve literally never met in person. His name is Pedro and we know each other through a mutual person that was in both of our lives and then abruptly went batshit crazy and we both peaced out. We were both personalities on the first podcast, (if you could even call it that), that I was ever on. I won’t name it because that’s not what we’re here for. Pedro is a musician, a husband and an amazing friend. He is incredibly supportive and resilient. His band, Euroasia, is in the process of recording new music and recently re-recorded their first EP. Pedro is quick to make a joke, is honest and just an overall great guy. I truly enjoyed my conversation with him. You can find Pedro and his band on Instagram @euroasiaband and bandcamp at euro-asia.bandcamp.com, please check them out. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. These two seasons are a good start but I think this can be even better with the newer seasons in the works. Thanks again. And remember: Love, Life and whatever the case is…

Six Degrees - I Am Above The Law!
Welcome to the second half of season two of Six Degrees. This week starts the full interviews, one each week for the next six weeks. This week is someone who has literally answered every question I’ve put together for this show. He recently put out an episode of his own podcast, (TAOS by Law), answering season one’s questions, he participated in this season and this past weekend he sat down with me to answer season three’s question with my wife as bonus content for next season. I am, of course, talking about Law. I met Law in the summer of 2015 and, not to be cliche, we were immediately best friends. It was like that moment in Step Brothers where they realize they’re so similar, except without the bickering first. Law is a hard working, fast learning, kind, caring and reliable individual. We’ve had many a crazy night, weekend or week for the last several years and I can honestly say I don’t see that changing any time soon. You can find Law and all of the amazing things that he does at taosbylaw.com and on social media with the same handle: @taosbylaw. The mans a photographer, videographer, event planner, podcaster, youtuber and so much more, please check him out. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. These two seasons are a good start but I think this can be even better with the newer seasons in the works. Thanks to Danny Roman of Successfully Failing Studios for the artwork. Six Degrees - For The Ones Who Dream Of Stranger Worlds
Lord of the Rings. Harry Potter. Marvel. DC. Disney and Warner Brothers. All of these are synonymous with original, (mostly lol), characters and established universes or worlds. We immerse ourselves in these worlds through TV, movies, books, comics and other mediums to escape our reality. But what if you could live next door to Captain America? Travel Middle Earth with Aragon? Go to Hogwarts with Harry Potter? What universe would you live in and why? That is the concept we will explore in this weeks episode. Let me know your answer. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. Six Degrees - Ohana Means Family. Family Means No One Gets Left Behind.
Family means different things to different people. In fact, you can have separate and multiple families depending on your definition. We always have a hard time defining the word. It's a complex concept that adults have trouble expressing to other adults. But what if you were asked by a five year old what the definition of family was? How would you answer? Would you dumb it down or would you try to explain it with the complex ideas that many adults use to express its meaning? And even if you dumbed it down, would you get your point across? That is this episodes discussion. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. Six Degrees - Ever Need A Vacation From A Vacation? Just Me?
Ever been on a vacation that you just didn't want to end? I'd like to think we've all been on one of those.  As opposed to one that just dragged, those are usually family vacations that you went on when you were younger and didn't want to go on. We've all had those too. Think back. What did you enjoy about it? Is it something you could replicate or was it just the combo of the right time, place and people? How we relax and unwind is a big part of our lives, regardless of how often we do it and where. This episode is dedicated to that line of thought. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. Six Degrees - Who Wants Mac 'n' Cheese?!
Food can be a very fickle subject for some people. Whether it's texture, morality, taste deficiencies or anything else you can think of. One thing, though, that everyone should be able to agree upon is comfort food. Now, when I use that phrase, I'm not talking in the generic sense of the term. When I use those words in that order, I'm talking about food that makes you feel good. Food that, not matter what, will make you happy, comfortable and content. It could be a home cooked meal by a loved one or an entree at a restaurant you frequent. Regardless of what it is or where it comes from, we all have it and crave it now and again. This is the subject we will discuss today. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. This first season was a good start but I think this can be even better. Six Degrees - What Were We Thinking In High School?!
High school was an important and formative time in everyones life. Whether it was enjoyable or not is another story entirely, but we all remember it and what we were like during our teen years. One thing that everybody holds onto from that time is the music we listened to. Some of us never changed the genre of music we listened to, other have moved on for the most part. But one thing remains the same: we all still have a favorite artist or band from then that we still enjoy now. That is the topic this weeks question explores. You can find me on facebook/twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. Six Degrees - The Eternal Battle: Candy Vs. Presents
From the beginning of October to the end of December, the US has four major holidays. Arguably, the two biggest and most loved are Halloween and Christmas. Both based on pagan holidays but very much opposite in the way in which they are celebrated today. And if you don't believe me about Christmas, look it up. It was called Yule, (Yul), and in America it was illegal/banned for a good chunk of time. Regardless, most people usually have a preference of which they enjoy more. That is the question we will explore this week. Welcome to the second season of Six Degrees. You can find me on twitter/instagram @iamthomastbg, facebook @Iamthomastbg and on my website iamTBG.com. If you’re listening on a podcast app, please rate, review and subscribe to help get the word out. This first season was a good start but I think this can be even better. If you asked 6 different people the same 6 questions, would you get similar answers or would everyone be completely different? I’m looking to figure that out.
