#BeforeSunset #TheFilmScene #KimKrizan Kim Krizan’s career began with a close working relationship with acclaimed director Richard Linklater, having appeared in both Slacker and Waking Life. She is co writer on Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, for which was nominated for an Oscar. Starting in 2008, Krizan branched out into writing comic books and graphic novels. She wrote the "2061" comic series that was published in Zombie Tales #1, 9, and 11 by BOOM! Studios, with all three installments collected into a stand-alone graphic novel entitled Zombie Tales 2061 in mid-2009. Her most recent project is a biography on novelist and diarist Anais Nin. Nin spent her early years in Spain and Cuba, about sixteen years in Paris (1924–1940), and the remaining half of her life in the United States, where she became an established author, though she is most known for her turbulent relationships and candid, published diaries. Writer Paul Sado and Illeana Douglas discuss Cinema's best "Hollywood" movies - The Film Scene
Screenwriter and Director Paul Sado was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Queens. He began his career as an actor, appearing on Law And Order and alongside Kevin Hart in his first film Paper Soldiers (Universal). He co-wrote, produced, and starred in the IFC Film The Undeserved before choosing to focus entirely on writing and directing. Sado consulted on Tom McCarthy's Win Win starring Paul Giamatti and Bobby Cannavle and went on to co-write the screenplay for The Cobbler (Image Entertainment) starring Adam Sandler, Dustin Hoffman, Steve Buscemi, and Method Man, set for release in 2015. #JohnCameronMitchell #Hedwig #IlleanaDouglas Johns Cameron Mitchell's New York stage appearances included Broadway's Big River, The Secret Garden, Six Degrees of Separation, and Larry Kramer's The Destiny of Me for which he won an Obie Award. He starred in and wrote the book for the original 1998 Off-Broadway production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch for which he won an Obie Award along with co-creator composer Stephen Trask. In 2001 John directed, wrote, and starred in the film adaptation which won him Best Director at Sundance and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor. He was executive producer of Jonathan Caouette's documentary Tarnation (2004) and his sexually frank improv-based film Shortbus was released in 2006. He directed Rabbit Hole (2011) adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning play and starring Nicole Kidman in an Oscar-nominated performance. He's also appearing as a recurring character on the HBO series GIRLS and preparing to direct a film adaptation of Neil Gaiman's punk era story How to Talk to Girls at Parties. Writer/Director Eric Haywood - The Film Scene
TODAY: Eric Haywood, writer, producer, and director. He's written shows such as ABC’s Private Practice and Showtime’s Soul Food: The Series, wrote and directed three short films (Nick of Time, Intersection, and Staring at the Sun), each of which screened at various film festivals around the country. Joely Fisher, Actress – The Film Scene
Joely Fisher is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her work on television as Paige Clark on the ABC sitcom Ellen as well as Joy Stark in the Fox sitcom 'Til Death. She is also known for singing on Broadway in the 1990s. Mario Cantone Actor, Comedian – The Film Scene
TODAY: Mario Cantone, American actor and comedian with a fast-paced sense of humor. Cantone's comedic career began when he was in Junior High, when he did a comedic impression of Julia Child for a talent show. After graduating from Emerson College in 1982, Cantone began his professional career hosting a children's television show called Steampipe Alley, which aired on WWOR-TV from 1987 to 1993. In the years following, he acted in small film roles while maintaining a steady presence on Broadway, playing roles in stage productions such as Love! Valour! John Brancato, Screenwriter – The Film Scene
TODAY: John Brancato, American screenwriter. Brancato began screenwriting in the early 90's with his partner Michael Ferris, who he would collaborate with from there on. Their earliest works included the not-so-well-known films The Unborn and Into the Sun, before getting their big break with Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, as well the sequel Terminator: Salvation. TODAY: Amanda Wyss, American film and television actress. She began her career in the early 1980s and first gained notice for her role as Lisa in Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982). She then rose to international prominence after playing Tina Gray in the fantasy film A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984). She subsequently starred in Silverado (1985), Better Off Dead (1985), Powwow Highway (1989), Shakma (1990), and The Id (2016). Outside of film, Wyss has guest starred on a variety of television series including Cheers (1985-1986), Charmed (1999), and Dexter (2006). Dane Cook, Actor/Comedian – The Film Scene

A native of Massachusetts, Cook took up comedy and acting in high school, and became a regular performer in the greater Boston area during the 90's. Bruce Davison, Actor – The Film Scene
TODAY: Bruce Davison, American actor with a background in stage and a legacy of film and TV roles across all genres. After making his Broadway debut in 1968, Davison made his film debut with the cult classic horror film Willard, where he played the title role, a twisted version of the Pied Piper who trains rats to kill his enemies. TODAY: Michael Tolkin, American screenwriter, director, and novelist whose career includes self-made adaptations and covers a broad scope of genres. Tolkin's first project was the novel The Player, released in 1988. Kevin Nealon, Actor/Comedian – The Film Scene
