6 free sessions of therapy for those affected by racial tensions...

"Real Life Counseling clinicians, in partnership with ROSE, Inc. (Reach Out 2 Someone Else, Inc.), are offering 6 free therapy sessions to those affected by racial tensions in our country. Many are struggling with grief over recent events, or live in fear of future violence and unrest. Others would like to understand their own reactions and/or how they can contribute to peace and reconciliation. We would invite anyone affected to take advantage of this offering regardless of race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status."

Look For The Helpers: Liz Upton & Jennifer White talk Mr. Rogers

Look For The Helpers: Liz Upton & Jennifer White talk Mr. Rogers

Mr. Rogers continues to inspire us and the helpers in our community. His T.V. show, Mister Rogers Neighborhood, captured the hearts of kids and adults all over the world. But it wasn't just an entertaining show, built on fostering connection and childhood development, Mister Rogers Neighborhood pioneered educational television giving children a safe place to be belong and learn.

Back in November 2019, ICT S.O.S. held a special private screening of A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood celebrating some of the helpers in Wichita. We interviewed helpers during the event to find out what they loved about Mr. Rogers and why they decided to become a helper. Liz Upton, MSW and Jennifer White discuss the life of Mr. Rogers and his pioneering work.
