Today we are sharing four "Lessons from the Sessions." These are takeaways from recent sessions with our clients that we bet will resonate with you and we hope will help you.  We had a client recently turn her cell phone off in order to tighten up her budget--after one session. We have never had a client go that far so quickly and we certainly won't ask you to do that. We do, however, talk about the difference between wants and needs, why she chose to give it up and what some of the potential ramifications are in her life.  In another takeaway, we talk about a client who is trying to finish her degree. Her degree that may or may not have an impact on her career. And, by the way, she's currently in a career that she had no intention of being in when she started out. So, the main lesson here is to learn to step back and ask why are you doing what you’re doing. There may be outside or past influences in your life that you need to reassess. Listen to hear exactly how we helped her work through this.  One of our clients was recently trying to get in the routine of a morning routine. She came up against the obstacle of being tired. 8 tips to get more sleep so it’s easier to lose weight In this modern world, there are so many things we have to train ourselves to do that should come naturally. This includes sleep, relaxing, not being obese, being active, not being sick, cooking, you name it. With all of our advances, we’re much better at technology but we seem to be losing some of our more instinctual practices. So, we need to start from that mindset- this is something that should come naturally but it doesn’t and that’s okay.
