Your brain might want to tell you that you need this additional certification or training to "be enough", to be able to guarantee your results for your clients. A root chakra meditation specifically.  It is the healing and mindset work to uncover what is really holding you back. It is a mediation to create safety and sufficiency.  These mediation will also create inspiration or energy to do things that maybe you've had a fear of doing. For example, mainly fear of being judged. Or, fear of what others would say, or fear of failure. A lot of the structure and systems out there for the entrepreneur are masculine in nature. Which is fine. They are helpful. And when you find the one that works for you it’s a great way to leverage your time and efficiency. However, life happens. We are not robots. We are human so it’s normal to ebb and flow. To have powerful days, and off days. TO have days where the system doesn’t fit. Where it feels like you are forcing too much. Or, trying to fit a square peg into a circular hole. Over the past decade I've taught a lot of anatomy to yoga teachers to be, as well as experienced yoga teachers and health care providers. From teaching hundreds of students I've found there are typically there are two types of wellness practitioners: 1. 116. How to Overcome Your Fear of Being Visible.
You care about your clients. You love to help them. You spend a lot of time learning the skills to be the best practitioner, but when it comes to marketing and selling your packages and programs you freeze.  This is very common. A lot of healers, empaths, sensitives, and wellness practitioners are very aware of what other people think and feel about their actions. This skill can make you a great practitioner because you are in tune with your client's energy. However, it can hold back growth in your business.  As an entrepreneur the fastest way to grow your business is to publicly let people know what you do and how you can help them (AKA market). 115. Being Busy Vs. Being Productive
There is a difference between being busy and being productive. Especially during the holiday season when it seems like it’s “normal” to be busy. It maybe COMMON to be busy and frantic, but that doesn’t make it normal or even acceptable anytime of year It’s time to do something different. If you don't, what you sacrifice is time with family actually being present, your health, your energy, even your business because what you are doing won’t be as efficient or effective when you are in a busy frantic mode. This business won’t allow you to create a sustainable business for years to come. So you will hustle trying to get out of it. I know. I personally went through all of this the first few years in my business. Thinking I HAD to do all these different business strategies all at the same time. I had no idea what to prioritize and at the same time I lacked the trust and belief in myself and capabilities. To compensate for this I hustled and tried to outrace failure. 114. Get the Most Out Of Teaching Your Yoga & Wellness Classes
Driving all around town from class to class is not the only way to grow your wellness business. It’s just one way. There are benefits to teaching classes. There are also cons. If you are going to teach classes online or in person it’s best to understand your reasoning. Not going into it blindly thinking that’s the way it should be done because it’s what everyone else is doing. Take it from me. There was a time I was teaching more than 10 classes a week, while treating patients and teaching workshops and trainings on the weekends. I did it because that’s what my mentors did. That’s what I saw other people doing. But it was way too much. Now I teach when I want, what I want. It’s possible for you too if you just evaluate how teaching fits into the big picture of your business. 113. Out Of The Box Thinking
It’s easy to compare your life and  business to someone else's. To think “Look at what she is doing. It’s working for her so I will do it too”. There are multiple problems with this type of thinking. First off you create more distrust with your own intuition and ideas by blocking them and/or putting them down. Secondly, you don’t stand out from the noise because you are following someone else’s creativity (or multiple people so it’s even further diluted). So you become a small fish swimming in a big pond. Third, you put success outside of yourself. Thinking it’s the “perfect formula” or “perfect business structure” that got you the results. Not you, your ideas, the ability to follow your own nudges. And most importantly,  following or copying someone else is probably not aligned with your own morals and values. Instead you need to think outside the box. Start trusting your intuition, your ideas and create a process so they become a reality. Then it doesn’t matter what other people are doing. What if your greatest idea is one you already thought of, but just rejected because no one is doing it? It’s how my cedar wood she shed became a reality. It’s true purpose is a gardening shed, not a yoga shed. It’s how my brick and mortar PT/yoga/massage business became a reality. It’s how I started working with wellness practitioners on their body, brain and bank accounts. It wasn’t following the perfect business in a box solution. It was by thinking outside that box, while following my intuition and nudges. The process is simple. All you have to do is start listening to what your mind is already creating. And instead of rejecting your ideas, ask yourself how could this be possible? No matter how long you’ve been avoiding trusting your own ideas, you can start this process right now. All it takes is one question to shift the focus from doubt to possibility.  Learn more in this episode. 102. Stress, Your Nervous System & Your Business
Without you realizing, your nervous system may actually be the CEO of your business, not you. Hijacking your time, schedule, energy and tasks…. I’ve been realizing this as I prepare for a another surgery. My nervous system wants to go into old patterns of hustle and scarcity. However, now I’m aware. I can see the pattern starting, and catch it. The desire to rush and hustle out of fear. The act of trying to gain control by doing more. That’s the old pattern. The new pattern is to trust myself, my work and enjoy life. To give myself space to heal and laugh. Like this weekend on the beach . It’s not perfect. I of course still experience uncomfortable emotions. However I have better boundaries now, and practices to calm and soothe my nervous system if I’m triggered. So then I can enjoy and smile with my family at the beach. Instead of being consumed by worry, my to do list, all the things. I’m more effective when I do work on and in my business, so tasks require less time. I make more of an impact. 81. Creating Unwavering Belief
Do you find your self struggling with your business and/or your health because you don't feel you are enough or have enough? Some entrepreneurs realize this and don't know what to do about it. Some entrepreneurs don't realize this lack of belief, and it's sabotaging unconsciously. That's why this episode is so important.   Many yoga teachers, and active adults have the fear of not being able to do the activity they love. That if they are unable to practice or strive for peak performance, then they are less of a human or teacher. This is a lie, a myth. You are sufficient without a fancy or high level sport activity. Practicing and training from the feeling of lack forces you too push your body too aggressively, ironically setting you up for injury and the possibility of NOT being able practice and train. 8. Wellness Does Not Mean Perfection
We should all strive to have vibrant health, connection to our inner blue print of wellness, and feel like we are thriving. However, sometimes life happens,  and some things are outside of our control. Yes, we must be responsible for our health. At the same time we can't beat ourselves up when life throws us a curveball. We are all human, and have set backs whether that's in the form of an injury, pain or illness. True health I feel is the ability to ride through these waves of life with grace, with gratitude and still have hope and optimism with out shaming ourselves when our health isn't perfect.
