I Have No Idea

I Have No Idea

By Cellini Denerio

Welcome to I Have No Idea! The podcast about navigating adult life internally and externally. Anyone tell you about self care, communicating, loving yourself before you can love anyone else, boundaries, taking care of you for you, filling your cup, releasing and letting go? Everyone isn't lucky enough to have a space to talk about or learn about these things, and that's why I share my experiences and struggles here. We can all benefit from sharing our stories on this journey of life, so while some of us have no idea what we're doing...some of us do. Let's grow and glow together!

Episode 20: Sometimes You’re the Villain

It would be nice if we’re always seen as the heroes in other peoples stories but that’s not always the case. Sometimes we are the villains and that’s okay. Our healing journey isn’t always one of love and light. Sometimes we go through some dark times and people get hit in the crossfire as we heal. It’s never to late to change our role though. Keep going and take a listen.

Relationship series pt. 1: Define what a romantic relationship is for you.

Relationship series pt. 1: Define what a romantic relationship is for you.

Growing up I fell in love with Disney and the whole fairy tale romance with the princesses and princes.  Combine that with my love for romantic comedies and you had my view on what a relationship should be.  Tragic I know, but as I've gotten older and have been in and out of lovely relationships,  I know that the fairytales I absorbed and the romcoms aren't how relationships really go. RATS!! So in a quest to understand relationships I created a form to see how other people defined relationships.  The responses were both interesting and eye opening.  Take a listen and tell me what you think.

Episode 18: Where is the support?

Episode 18: Where is the support?

I have a question, where is the support for lgbt relationships from the lgbt community? I’ve been in multiple circles were relationships, engagements, weddings, and marriages are planned out in detail, but when new relationships emerge...the comments aren’t the most supportive. Matter of fact, the comments are usually negative. Why is that? Why do we love love but don’t seem to support love in the community?

Episode 15: Lil Boosie is Trash

In this episode I discuss how Lil Boosie is trash for setting up a sexual encounter with a grown woman and his 12-year-old son. The rapist and pedophiles jumped at the chance to defend Boosie Badass, but this is yet another case of trauma normalized in the black community. Listen and tell me what you think.

A Reflection: I'm not for everyone and that's okay.

A Reflection: I'm not for everyone and that's okay.

Some of us have always been the weird kids, the odd balls, the black sheep even. As I sat back and reflected on all the good coming into my life, I realized it may be harder for us to find a space that celebrates us but the space is out there....or maybe we create said space ourselves. There's beauty in the unique, the strange, and weirdness.

Episode 11: Everyone isn't a jerk.

Getting hurt sucks, and there are some jerks in the world but everyone isn't a jerk. Also, everyone isn't out to get you or hurt you. We have to stop over generalizing the hurt we've been through and put that on all 7 billion people in the world. Yes there are jerks but I believe there are way more good loving people in the world than jerks!

Episode 8: Flowing with life and not getting bent out of shape.

Episode 8: Flowing with life and not getting bent out of shape.

For a while, I was a rebel. I rebelled against everything. School, work, social norms, etc. It was apart of who I was...keyword...WAS. I've seen how not flowing with life/going against the grain can hold you back and get you off track. I also see how being constantly up in arms and bent out of shape was causing me so much anxiety. Throw in me holding grudges and it was constant stress, anxiety, and no direction.....just energy... negative energy. Flow, let go, and take a listen.

Rant 2: Say something or Zip it

Rant 2: Say something or Zip it

This rant is all about when you see a loved one doing harmful things to themselves, do you say something or do you wait for them to bring it up. What if you've said something before and they attacked you? What if you've been attacked more than once? Do you just let them continue hurting themselves and you, or do you power through and continue bringing up the harmful behavior? When is enough, enough? There has to be a balance here, and it's a very delicate situation. You love them and you don't want to see them hurting, but you reaching out gets your head bit off. It's a real rock and a hard place situation. One thing is for sure, in these situations, the love is there.

Episode 7: So you don't see my growth?

Episode 7: So you don't see my growth?

Have you ever noticed people treating you like a former version of yourself? As if they don't see how much you've grown. Whether they are tensing up at moments that would've made you upset in the past, Assuming you're going to be late when you've been early or on time lately, or maybe they assume you're going to be impatient when you've been working on your patience. To be honest, it sucks. We want to be seen as the better people we've become, especially by loved ones. We have to keep growing and glowing even if we're the only one who sees and acknowledges our growth. Let's dive a little deeper in part 1. Part 2 is about my 29th bday and how it helped me reevaluate.

Episode 4: Changing your environment

Episode 4: Changing your environment

"You can't heal in a toxic environment" Have you ever heard of that? well it's true! It's a small yet powerful statement. Whatever you're working on or trying to change has to start with the environment you are in physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The most challenging part about changing your environment is asking yourself if you want to stay in your toxic comfort zone or if you want to change for the better. it's possible with baby steps and time.

Episode 3: The black community, sexual assault, and the gays honey

Episode 3: The black community, sexual assault, and the gays honey

There seems to be a lot of opinions on what exactly is destorying the black community. Some think it's deadbeat dads. Others think it's the lgbtq community and our "gay agenda". Then there's domestics violence, toxic masculinity, money, cheating, the black church, family secret including rape and molestation, drug addictions, and more. I don't we could pinpoint it to just one area or topic.
