Who is Eric Hoffman?

.

Eric Hoffman was appointed to serve as director for Speed the Light in January 2018.

.

In the three years Hoffman served as district youth director (DYD) for Illinois, giving to Speed the Light increased by more than $300,000.

.

Prior to serving as DYD, he was youth pastor at Abundant Life in Alton, Illinois — one of the Top 20 Giving Churches for Speed the Light during his tenure.

.

“Eric and Liz have a strong record of cultivating generosity and a passion for missions,” says General Superintendent Doug Clay.

.

Eric and his wife, Liz, have three children.

Who are the Stanleys?

.

Chris, Christina, and their three children (Caleb, Chloe, and Corban) have served in ministry for over 20 years.

.

In that time they have worked in large and small churches, established churches and church plants, and in urban and rural communities.

.

Chris’s ministry experience has given him a unique ability to mentor the next generation of leaders in Christ’s church and prepare them for a variety of ministry contexts.

.

Chris and Christina stepped into their roles as the Student Ministries Directors for the state of Illinois in 2018 and are excited to share their passion for discipleship and evangelism across the state.

Who is Terry Parkman?

.

Terry Parkman is the NextGen Pastor at River Valley Church in Minneapolis, MN, a multi-site church with locations in the US and abroad.

.

There he oversees all things kids, youth, young adults, and emerging leaders.

.

Along with his responsibilities at River Valley, Terry serves as the Global co-chair for Empowered21 NextGen's efforts in seeing an emerging generation of Spirit-filled leaders rise up to lead the Church into the future.

.

Terry travels and speaks internationally on leadership trends, and more specifically, generational shift and how that impacts the Church today.

.

He lives in the Minneapolis-metro area with his wife Christina and his daughters Avalie and Nova.

At ISM, we raise money for Speed The Light so missionaries can have the equipment they need to do the work God's called them to do.

The two of them have given a combined total of $13,000 for missions.  So I sat them down to ask "Why?"  

Why do they care so much and how did they even raise that much money in the first place?  O

ur hope is that this conversation inspires and equips to both give to missions and live on mission.

ABOUT Pator Eran Holt:  Eran and his wife Julie and their three children, Caleb, Emma, and Ellie currently reside in Poconos, PA.  Eran has over 20 years of Student Ministry experience having most recently served as the Student Ministries Pastor at GT Church, Reading, PA for over 15 years.  During their tenure, the student ministry grew from roughly 30 students to over 400.  Eran’s passionate, creative and relevant preaching has distinguished him as a prophetic voice and communicator.  He speaks at various churches, camps, retreats, conventions and conferences.  Eran’s passion is to inspire adults to become spiritual fathers and mothers who will raise up an army of students to lead their generation.  In 2016 Eran & Julie founded Lead the Generation, a non-profit ministry providing training and inspiration for youth pastors, volunteer youth leaders and student leaders.  Eran equips Youth Pastors from all over the nation through his Coaching Program called Mastermind.

2020 has been rough on all of us, especially those of us who serve in ministry.
