Drocella Mugorewera is an international champion for diversity intent on building trust between businesses and minority communities worldwide. Raised in Rwanda, Drocella won a scholarship to the National University in Kyiv, Ukraine. Drocella served as a member of Parliament and Government. Her safety in jeopardy, Drocella later fled Rwanda alone, bravely beginning life anew as a refugee in Knoxville, Tennessee. There the unstoppable leader received acclaim as the executive director of Bridge Refugee Services and recognized as one of Knoxville’s Difference Makers. Drocella speaks five languages and enjoys playing with her grandson Elliot when she is not working.
