Tackling Mental Clutter : Three Steps to Tidying Up Internally

Tackling Mental Clutter : Three Steps to Tidying Up Internally

In our second episode of Season 2, we interview Erinne Brown of Live Well with Erinne. She is a coach and well-being advocate. And this past summer, we interviewed her on the topic of Emotional De-shedding in light of the Racial Reckoning. It goes without saying that 2020 was a year that taught us so many lessons, brought more gratitude and more insight for the future. And while,  as we learned the last year,  cannot control the future, there are some parts of our lives that we can manage in a way that leads us to the life that we want. In this episode, we are exploring Erinne’s three steps to tackling mental clutter so you can attain your goals and desires.

About Our Special Guest:

Erinne is a wellness coach who guides overachieving women on their journey to reclaim their wellbeing. She believes in the importance of developing deep awareness for what one's mind, body and soul needs, and feeling empowered to take action to serve those needs. By coaching her clients through holistic lifestyle changes and mastering their everyday habits, they find the inner resources to show up as the best version of themselves. Erinne's wellness journey started after she experienced burnout from her career in management consulting, which left her searching for answers on how she can be ambitious and successful, without sacrificing her physical and emotional wellbeing. As Erinne found fulfillment in the changes she was making in her life, she decided to get her certifications as a Health coach and Life coach to help other women who had a similar struggle. She launched Live Well with Erinne, and is now coaching clients 1-on-1, in groups and leading workshops to help others step into a new normal of wellbeing.

Simple Ways to Keep Your Home and Workspace Clutter Free

Simple Ways to Keep Your Home and Workspace Clutter Free

Happy New Year!!! In our first episode of 2021, we are interviewing Eryn Donaldson, founder of The Model Home, full-service professional organizing company. More than home organization and unpacking company, The Model Home’s mission is to help change the homes and lives of their clients with long-term solutions. So many of us are spending more time and home, making workspaces all over the home and she is going to offer her expert advice on how to maintain your space and eliminate clutter.

About Eryn Donaldson

Eryn Donaldson is a Maryland native who attended Auburn University in Alabama and currently calls Washington D.C. home – although most of her time is spent traveling for work. Before founding The Model Home, Eryn was thriving at work but quickly realized that traditional corporate jobs were not for her. It was not until she took up the task of organizing her parent’s garage that she realized transforming spaces for functional efficiency and curating aesthetically pleasing spaces was her forté. In 2017 Eryn dove in and created her own business that now serves over five areas across the country and is continuously growing.

In this 9th episode, Cara Nava interviews Marie P. Anderson, model industry expert, author, public speaker and co-founder of Boss Babe Models. Anderson has over three decades of experience with the top model agencies around the globe. We explore the “roses and the thorns” of her experiences ranging from haute couture photo shoots for Vogue Magazine, working with Valentino himself in Rome to being a pioneer in seeking industry reform and advocacy for models long before the #MeToo movement.
In this episode, we discuss Marie’s fight against sexual impropriety, the ever-changing model industry landscape and the importance of advocacy and improved work culture for women and models at large.

Through her courses and private coaching, Marie shows aspiring models how to build a successful modeling career without compromising their values. She provides coaching in all areas of their careers including personal branding, mentorship, portfolio prep, agency recommendations and placement. Today Marie P. Sweet Justice: When Pies and a Social Mission Meet

Sweet Justice: When Pies and a Social Mission Meet

In this episode, we connect with Chef Maya-Camille Broussard who shares her story as an entrepreneur, business owner and philanthropist. Broussard established Justice of the Pies in honor of her late father, Stephen J. Broussard. Steve, who dubbed himself the Pie Master, was a criminal defense attorney with a passion for baking and eating anything made with a crust! Justice of the Pies was created to celebrate his love for pies and to honor his belief that everyone deserves an opportunity to reform their lives.

Formed as an L3C, Justice of the Pies considers itself to be a social mission in a culinary art form. The bakery has previously partnered with DreamOn Education to activate the I KNEAD LOVE Workshop. The one-day workshop provides elementary-aged children from lower-income communities instruction on nutritional development, acquiring basic cooking skills, and encouraging creativity in the kitchen. The primary goal of this program is to contribute to efforts in ending food insecurities.

Justice of the Pies also partners with the Cabrini Green Legal Aid (CGLA). CGLA was created to serve legal needs arising from the lack of opportunity, criminalization of poverty, and racial inequity experienced within the Cabrini Green community. Since then, CGLA has grown beyond a single neighborhood to become a citywide, countywide, and now recognized statewide leader in supporting low-income individuals negatively impacted by the criminal justice system. Justice of the Pies and CGLA collaborate on a yearly “pie drive” to raise money for the organization.

Justice of the Pies is committed to providing decency and equality while consistently seeking ways in which it can be a steward for fairness. To learn more about Justice of the Pies, visit them at:
