Interview with Nico Verresen

Interview with Nico Verresen

In today’s episode, I interview Nico Verresen, who is a coach, a psychologist and former pro Muay Thai champion.

Nico Verresen is a living testament to resilience and transformation. Once a famed professional fighter, he held numerous titles, including the five-time Belgian, European, and Vice World Champion in Muay Thai. Nico was not just a powerhouse in the ring, but also a keen scholar, earning a master's in psychology and making contributions as a published researcher and assistant professor at the Free University of Brussels.

However, at the peak of his career, a severe eye injury threatened to strip away his identity as a world-class fighter. With a future in the top echelons of the US fighting scene and a high chance to feature in the renowned Ultimate Fighter TV show dangling before him, Nico faced a life-altering decision. Choosing to preserve his eyesight after several surgeries, he bravely stepped away from the fighting world that defined him.

But Nico's story didn't end there. He embarked on a journey of rediscovery, venturing into various endeavors from running a gym in a castle to soaking up enriching experiences in Bali and delving deep into personal growth with Tantric practice and Ayahuasca ceremonies. This path paved the way for his innovative venture, "Perform With Pleasure", an executive coaching business dedicated to helping ambitious people achieve their goals without compromising their health, relationships, or joy in life.

Now, Nico is channeling his fighting spirit into his latest creation: "The Silent Warrior Center". This initiative is designed to empower leaders and professionals in high-pressure environments, helping them find the mental clarity and strength to excel where others might falter by doing daily "word fasts", combined with breathwork and meditation-empowered boxing training in silence.

Interview with Robert Indries

Interview with Robert Indries

In today’s episode, I interview Robert Indries who is serial entrepreneur, business consultant and author.

Message from Robert:

I was born into a modest family in a very small town in Transylvania, Romania. I spent the fist part of my life on farms, caring for livestock and working land.

When I was young, my family told me “If you want to learn, you can learn in any school.” I think that’s the pre-school version of “You can achieve anything you want to achieve, no matter where you are right now.” And that’s exactly what I continue to believe.

Traveling gave me an ideal vantage point to observe common mistakes and successes in businesses on a world-wide scale. This mindset has helped me to build an empire of 8 businesses generating 7-figures yearly, to travel over 100,000 miles visiting 17 countries, speaking in front of thousands of people in 3 different languages, and to maintain a loving relationship with my gift from God, Diana, and our close family and friends.

Throughout these years, I have also:
* Generated over $500,000,000 in business value for my clients.
* Delivered on over 200 projects for clients in 19 different sectors.
* Consulted over 1,000 professionals to achieve 2-10X higher levels of effectiveness.
* Created athlete-level health and an amazing marriage in between.

If you're ethical, ambitious, and have capital, I'd love to help you achieve your vision and leave an ever greater impact. Just email

Interview with Andrea Johnson

Interview with Andrea Johnson

In today’s episode, I interview Andrea Johnson who is a certified Maxwell Leadership Speaker, Trainer, Coach, and DISC Behavioral Analysis Consultant.

Andrea Johnson empowers others to take control of their lives and change their future. As an adoptive parent, who grew up internationally, navigating mental and physical wellness, she learned that emotional resilience must be earned. Uncovering her own voice became the key to the process that allows her clients to do the same.

Andrea works with ambitious female leaders, founders, community leaders and public officials who feel stifled, and have grown unsatisfied with their current level of impact. She facilitates improved communication and corporate culture in women owned or operated teams. Her passion is equipping female leaders to define a new culture by trusting their own ability to think critically, create imaginatively and lead effectively.

Andrea was raised on the mission field of Seoul, South Korea, and as a Third Culture Kid, she’s familiar with navigating cultural diversity to find her own place of belonging. A family history of obesity showed up early, along with bulimia and depression. Her determination to become healthy , however, led to gastric bypass surgery, and is testament to her persevering spirit. She experienced early menopause (at 39), and became an adoptive mother through private adoption, at 42.

Her personal journey of deconstructing her own assumptions, beliefs and conditioning produced her signature tool, Intentional Optimism. It provides the framework for how we do what we do. It’s the attitudes and mindsets we employ and embody to live out our own values, goals and dreams with excellence.

Interview with Adam Hart

In today’s episode, I interview Adam Hart who is a leading expert in nervous system regulation and how to get unstuck. He is a best selling author whose mission is to help busy parents transform the symptoms of the daily grind into more loving relationships and daily fulfilment.

Adam grew up in Toronto, Canada where he spent most of his childhood detached from nature and addicted to junk food and television.
Diagnosed as having ADHD in his teens, Adam suffered with low self esteem and feelings of guilt and shame as he navigated the complex world of entering adulthood.
In his early 20’s, the responsibilities and stress from striving to meet societal expectations, led Adam to living with daily anxiety.
His racing mind, stuck in fight or flight thoughts, had him living with coping habits focused on escaping life and detaching from connecting to emotions.
All this changed when Adam discovered Rock Climbing in his late 20's.
Rock climbing allowed Adam to discovered the true power of his nervous system regulation and how to utilize “The Moments of Life” to alter how his brain functioned and how his body performed.
Adam then dove deep into the world of natural holistic wellness and quickly brought himself into an optimal state of mental and physical health without needing to rely on arduous diets and exercise regiments.
Adam’s passion for sharing his discoveries led to over 400+ speaking engagements and the creation of his successful coaching program.
Adam also authored a best selling book called “The Power of Food”, which highlights his personal journey with turning his sugar addiction into a powerful source of love.
With 2 children of his own now, Adam focuses on guiding fellow parents, with the right tools, in the right order, for living aligned to their optimal state of health and fulfilment.

Interview with Indra Rinzler

Interview with Indra Rinzler

Today I had an opportunity to interview Indra Rinzler who is an astrologer, a spiritual guide and a shaman.
His message to all of you:
“ I started and managed several successful small businesses spread over a variety of service and product industries during my 30's and 40's. My theme was to use my own cutting edge view point and values to frame a traditional business in service to the highest human ideals. I was a minister and councilor in my community, working with the staffs and the public in the businesses in supportive ways. I had an interest even at that time encouraging people around me to grow and expand beyond self-inflicted limitations.
In 1999 my life changed in many ways. First, I was introduced to the Enneagram and began an in-depth study of this fascinating modality. Intuitively I felt there to be a connection between astrology and the Enneagram. My mathematical nature saw that the two modalities speak with one voice but from two perspectives. I was soon fortunate to meet and study with Dr. Curtis Blair who had developed a workable system for explaining the relationship between the two disciplines. At the core of this relationship was its connection to all of existence. I did not know at the time, but I would spend the next 15 years exploring the depth of what he shared with me. I found the magic string from which all else generates.
Also then in 1999, I starting spending half the year traveling the world buying hand made items, textiles, jewelry, spiritual items, for my business selling handicrafts wholesale to stores in the US. I was very fortunate to be able to travel extensively for pleasure while on buying trips. I have great memories of sitting with awakened teachers and of my visits to many holy places--places of natural beauty and places of spiritual power, on all the continents of the world.
The whole time traveling I was observing my human brothers and sisters in all these different cultures. The truth became clear, we are not so different. Cultures may seem different at first, but eventually as you spent time enmeshed not separate from them, the sense of difference disappears. Eventually as the reflections gained larger focus, I realized the immensity of the universe and it's natural connection to our Earth. All is made of the same materials. There is no other.
During this traveling time I started giving Astrology/Enneagram, Celestial Enneagram readings to people I met along the way, wanting to share truth about who we really are. Now retired and settled back in the US with grandchildren, I feel inward delight that's its time now to share the wisdom and insight I have been honored to receive, here in a more dynamic way. I hope to inspire and teach you to live inwardly in the freedom that is present in each moment no matter your life circumstance. Freedom is immediately available to us all.
In sharing a life time of experience with my readings and teaching, I am fascinated with new found beauty and opportunity I find in words and letters. I find the challenge of communication so helpful in our search for the essence of our true being. For eventually I believe we will grow to see from all the seats at the table, to encompass all the points of view to make us whole. My college degree, business and life experiences, marriage and child raising, travel and study of great traditions, meditation and spiritual practices--all this and more combine to make me who I am, just as your experiences make you, you. My greatest wish is to be of service to you.
It's such a dynamic time these first years in our new century, people all over the world are simultaneously feeling the call to wake up. Let's all join together in celebration.”

Interview with Dr. Christopher K. Slaton

Interview with Dr. Christopher K. Slaton

In today’s episode, I interview Dr. Christopher K. Slaton who is the author of 'Education and Science' literature and
the founder of the Human Systems Science: the study of brain, body, and sense events to improve the sense and receive path functions of people that have been hurt by major life events in the home, school, neighborhood, and workplace networks.
Christopher K. Slaton, Ed.D., developed the Progressive Investing Institute of Focused Learning in 2000 to study child development through the application of action research, systems thinking, and human science. The applied use of action research with children and parents in crisis led to human systems research, as the study of self; other people, and the environment. The applied use of systems thinking led to human systems science, as the study of brain, body, and sense events. Hence, the applied use of human science led to the study of human, cognitive, and behavior sciences. As a practitioner of human systems science, my interest has always been focused on the study of human contact, human cognition, and human behavior.

Christopher K. Slaton has used education to become more informed about the brain and science to discipline the body as a human systems scientist with more than 25 years of studying brain, body, and sense events. Hence, learning how to inform the brain and discipline the body is a personal practice of education and science. This is why; Human Systems Science represents a fundamental change in the way brain, body, and sense events are viewed in terms of the Brain’s Body. The brain is the body. The body is not the brain. The Brain’s Body is the inner/outer sense of self in the study of sense and receive path functions; brain, body, sense events; energy, action, and feelings; and physical, emotional, and mental acts or behaviors."
