On this Week 4 episode of The Fins Broadcast (that we named the
Clickbait Edition because we fully expect to have to lie to people to
get them listen) the guys talk about what the hell is happening with the
offense and why, and more importantly, how to fix it. Just kidding,
there we go lying again.
Really, we mostly talked about Adam Gase and the situation he finds himself in with Jay Cutler. But it wasn’t all gloom and doom. We had a bunch of fun making today’s show, so we
hope you enjoy. Fins Up!
Finally after a months long wait, a NEW episode of the Fins Broadcast
is here! On the Week 3 Edition, we discussed just about everything that
has happened since the last time we linked up for a show. We
discussed the coaches, the void left by the loss of Ryan Tannehill, and how we think
Jay Cutler measures up after two weeks of play. We discussed the many
troubles of the secondary, including a new nickname for Nate Allen,
questions about the not-quite himself Reshad Jones, and the letdown of
Xavien Howard 's play. Byron Maxwell is also in the doghouse, along with
just about everyone involved from Sunday. Join us as we try to make
sense of the whole thing! We're also happy to report that
you can look forward to another show next week following our (hopefully
triumphant) trip to London to play the Saints. So stay tuned, and keep
the faith! The season isn't even CLOSE to over yet.
Episode 4 of The Fins Broadcast 2017 season primarily focused on Head Coach Adam Gase and the impact he's had on various facets of the NEW Miami Dolphins. From how he's helped Ryan Tannehill blossom, as opposed to the damage Joe Philbin did to the quarterback's career, to the way he relates to pretty much every player in the locker room. Also mentioned was his love for Jarvis Landry as well as his previous connection to Julius Thomas which should make for an improvement over Jordan Cameron at the TE position. What started with sending a message to Jay Ajayi right from week one, which the players quickly received, led to a quick adjustment to his new position and the incredible win streak that followed. The moral of the story and this episode of TFB is: The sky's the limit for Adam Gase.
On this latest edition of TFB, the guys are talking about the 2017 Miami Dolphins Defensive Line. From the work Jordan Phillips has put in with Ndamukong Suh, to the way (we hope) Will Hayes will bolster our strength against the run. -----
Expectations for Cameron Wake
and his role as an aging pass-rusher were also touched upon, as well as
closing out the show with some Patriots hate (always appropriate),
Dolphins Twitter talk, and answering a London listeners’ question about
the Dolphins’ participation in the UK Series. -----
All that and more, right here on The Fins Broadcast!
On this edition of TFB, the guys are focusing on Miami Dolphins Receivers, a position group that didn't get too much airtime last episode. DeVante Parker is one of the keys to our hopes of reaching the next level, Kenny Stills is coming off a career year, and barring any new development, we're about to see what Jarvis Landry looks like in a contract year. The starters are set and looking ripe to go OFF! -----Beyond the obvious starting trio, we're looking at the next guys in line as well, namely Jakeem Grant and Leonte Carroo...But are thier jobs safe? A host of young wideouts has been brought in to ensure a high level of competition in camp, so we'll find out.-----All that and more, right here on TFB! It's been almost a year since Ron and Vero teamed up to create the first TFB, and they're back for the Miami Dolphins 2017 Season! Topics included EVERYTHING. Well, not really, but pretty damn close! We talked about the Draft as well as the overall direction of the team, areas that need improvement, and Vero purposely tries to piss people off. Maybe because they always say his name like it rhymes with 'hero' when it actually rhymes with 'arrow'! Talk about or comment on today's show on Twitter using the hashtag #TFBtalk No date is set for the next installment of TFB, so stay tuned for updates. My guest today, Charlie from Cheshire, England, joined me to talk about the current state of the team, how he came to be a lifelong Dolphins fan in the UK, and his opinion on some of our keys to success moving forward! Don't miss this International Edition of Fins Look!
