Catch up and update time! In the world of recent Geekery, what did we have? There was the Bafta Games Awards, a new show called Fallout is out, and of course we HAVE to discuss the recent X-Men '97 episodes. This also might be our first mention of … puppy play?

We continue our review of X-Men '97 from Marvel Animation Studios, this time focusing on episodes 3 and 4. We discuss Jean Grey's revelations, Jubilee's new power set, and the Goblin Queen's breasts. We've been waiting anxiously for the premiere of Marvel Animation's new show X-Men '97, which is a direct continuation of the amazing X-Men Animated Series from our childhoods. How did the show measure up? We'll take you through it!

This time they look at all the interesting things that happened in episode 3 (though these breakdowns are just sort of turning into Jon explaining to Nick what happened). We all love the '90s X-Men animated series. But did you know that there was a precursor to this show? Nick and Jon sit down and have a rewatch (or in Jon's case, a first watch!) of the pilot episode that started it all: Pryde of the X-Men. We finally get around to having a few beverages and complaining about something - and this time it's retcons and how much we hate them oh yes we do. We have a list (well, mostly Nick does) of the best and the worst examples of retroactive continuity used in tv, film, and comics. 

Thirsty video games are everywhere. The graphics get better all the time, the storylines are unabashedly sexual, and the worlds are so realistic. It's no wonder we're drawn to them! Jon shows Nick a variety of video game characters that make us all thirsty.
