Immutability can only occur when we KNOW for certain that a Record has not changed. Our current systems offer that to us but with varying degrees of confidence. That is set to change with the advent of blockchain and the promise of an immutable ledger underlying information systems. This new way of storing information replaces our traditional databases, and experts of all stripes have written about its promise. However, what hasn’t happened yet is actually having the systems to support this new technology advancement - that’s set to change with our next guest. For the past two years, Michael Hiles and his team have been secretly and quietly building something with some solid venture capital behind them they’re now ready to share. Today, you’re going to hear what Michael Hiles and his team have been building - the first blockchain-based system in the Records and information space. We’re at the cusp of a brand new era in the information profession, and we’re about to hear about it next on the Strategy of Information in my conversation with 10 XTS Founder and CEO Michael Hiles.
