Episode 08: “Clarinet Quintet, op.1”
In the 8th Episode of INMUAS Soundpost you can hear the piece "Clarinet Quintet op.1 (2009)" of the composer and one of INMUAS co-founders - Armin Sanayei. In this episode Armin shares a lot about his path as a musician and composer and the process of composing - in general and of this piece, that he considers rather intuitive. Armin explains about the connections between his pieces, Iranian folklore and other arts such as poetry, that inspires him. In the interview hosted by Roberta Lazo Valenzuela, Armin explains more about his Clarinet Quintet written in 2009 and how his music has evolved since then.
At 45:20 you can also hear the piece, played by Peter Joyce - clarinet, Sarvin Hazin -violin, Eirini Krikoni -violin, Loredana Apetrei -viola and Namdar Majidi -violoncello.

Episode 06: “Evening, night, morning”
You can listen to the piece “Evening, night, morning” by the Austrian composer Oskar Gigele and an interview with him in our new episode of INMUAS podcast. Roberta Lazo Valenzuela hosts the interview, in which Oskar shares interesting insights into his new piece – its idea, structure and the process of composing. The piece is originally written as 3 songs for voice and piano and then arranged for clarinet and string quartet*, as it is recorded in our podcast. In the new episode of INMUAS Soundpost Oskar reveals what is important for him in composing and expressing himself in general, as well as his thoughts on vocal music and many different musical genres.
