Do you want to talk about it?

Do you want to talk about it?

Anxiety, depression and other mental health issues are conversation topics that only happen behind closed doors and in dark corners. Away from the open because people are too scared to talk about these issues. In today's episode, we feature stories from people about their relationships with anxiety and depression. We have people tell us how they have coped with living with these things and all the in-between.

Today's episode in the final episode of our first season and also the final episode for our host Seyi Oluboba.

The Wall

“… For the greatest fear of death is always that it will pass us by. And leave us there alone.”  The words of novelist Fredrick Backman from his novel A man called Ove. Being left alone is something some would call a nightmare until you go behind the wall. In this week's episode, we hear 4 different people talk about being alone in ways that not only question the general concept but also shed more light on how different people define the word.

Career Day

What do you want to be?

That question has always felt very limiting. Like there could be only one answer and that answer could never change.

In this episode, you will hear stories from people who don’t have a single answer and whose answers change multiple times. They talk about their careers, where they came from, where they are and where they are going to.

This is career day like they don’t do it in schools

Some things are difficult to talk about. Failure is one of those things. Considering that it is something that everyone has some experience with, it’s a wonder that we still feel so alone when we think about our failures.

In this episode, we had guests talk about their stories of failure and how they felt towards the idea of failing. We also talked about some fears of our own.

Pilot: What does productivity look like from inside our bubble?

Pilot: What does productivity look like from inside our bubble?

Productivity is one of those topics that people think about a lot... but from a distance. Starting a podcast, we thought that productivity would be a very crucial nut to crack. The 'Inside a bubble" team is made up of young, fresh out of Uni adults, and we are trying to build something great with this podcast. We realised that knowing how to be productive would be important, so we killed two birds with the same stone. We tried to figure out a productive way to make podcast episodes and also made an episode documenting the process.

In this pilot episode, we experimented with the format this podcast would take. We talked to people from just about as many works of lives as we could squeeze into 25 minutes. There is a content creator, a facebook ad creator, a software engineer, students and a fashion designer to mention a few. What we found is that all of these people do very similar things to get and stay productive.

This is not a self-help episode. We were trying to find a method for ourselves and in the spirit of involving the audience in our creative process, we made this pilot.
