129 - Guard Your Heart - Pastor Steve Eden (pt 2)
In today’s episode Steve and Rick discuss how we by believing that God has reconciled Himself to us enables us to be reconciled with each other.
128 – Guard Your Heart - Pastor Steve Eden (pt 1)
We have been taught that we must guard our heart based on Proverbs 4:23: Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. You cannot receive or have life apart from Christ. We are taught we must change our behavior but throughout all of scripture Gods says “will you believe Me?”. We derive our reality from what God says and that’s what guards your heart, not your self-effort. There is no redemptive power by keeping the law, only by believing that God has reconciled us to Himself.
In episode one Steve and Rick talk about the sin Jesus came to take away was our self-dependence.
127 - Mark Voth: God is More Real than Ever Before (part 3)
In this episode Rick & Mark talk about how hard it is to trust God with our lives, our children, and with what we think He’s doing with us.
126 - Mark Voth: God is More Real than Ever Before (part 2)
In episode 2 Rick & Mark discuss God’s faithfulness and how important is to listen to Him and learn to hear His voice.
125 – Mark Voth: God is More Real than Ever Before (part 1)
The world is crowded with men who have loud voices and full wallets but lack character. Men who will stick their hand out, put their arm around your shoulders, and make unkept promises. We know them, we hear them, and some follow them. And then there are the other guys. Men who will storm beaches, jump out of airplanes, and run in front of bullets. And then refuse to talk about it. These men work hard, love hard and die without telling us their names. I believe Mark Voth is one of these great men. He has raised his kids with a passion and uprightness that only those of us close to him can appreciate. He loves God with a hunger only God can satisfy. He talks about his God with obsession that comes from years of trial and error that God has rewarded with deeper understanding. I hope you enjoy Mark as I have in these three episodes.
In episode 1 Rick and Mark talk about the church, and how it has not done its job. Although we were both disillusioned by the church God has met us where we are.

116 – Comparison
I constantly compare myself to the bible characters I read about. I don’t know if you all do this, but my mind is always declaring “I should”. I should be doing that, I should be that serious, if I’m any kind of committed Christian I should be suffering like these guys, and it goes on and on. But as I go deeper into the lives of our biblical heroes, I discover that they were just regular guys like you and me. They had many of the same struggles and doubts we face every day.

113 – The Two Covenants: with Pastor Steve Eden (pt 2)
Rick & Steve explain how the Law was a shadow of the good things to come, and being a shadow, it has no substance. The substance is Christ in whom we put our faith, not in the Law because the Old Covenant was fulfilled in Christ.

A discussion with Steve Eden, Pastor of Grace Church in Choctaw, OK. Rick and Steve talk about how apart from God we cannot be holy, righteous, or even acceptable to God. 106 – Sins of Omission (part 1)
In the 1st of three episodes, Rick and Jeremy Griffin talk about how Christians build belief systems on things that didn’t happen in scripture, or deciding something is wrong because it wasn’t in the bible. We give several examples on how judgments are made because of omissions.

The Heins believe giving this group of people clothing, food, and warm blankets is the same as giving them anointing oil on their foreheads.
