We are trying something new, it's summer so we hope you'll bear with us. Wanting to keep his anonymity, we have Mr. X who runs the Detroit Platform Tennis Instagram account joining us in all his (and our) voice garbled greatness. Hope you enjoy this summer paddle infusion.
A great year end wrap up show featuring Ben, Blake, Brad Easterbrook and Mark Innes. We review some of the best matches of the year, the most improved players, best teams and more in a fun conversation with 2 people who watched (and talked about) a lot of paddle this season!
We're joined by the recently crowned (re-crowned) National Chamions, Johan (the Lion) DuRandt, Stephen Mitchell and Florentina Hanisch and Ana Marija Zubori to talk about the season and the championships in the rain.
Amazing episode! Steve Baird with 9 men's National titles, and Hank Irvine with 4 of his own, have a chat as Noah and Ben tear up the script and just listen to stories of Wimbledon, Rod Laver, paddle matches broadcast on NBC, a tour with $10k of prize money (in the 70's) and much more. You don't want to miss this.
In the second segment, we're joined by APTA CEO Amin Khadduri and Jody Herzog from Fuzion who talk about how planning has changed for Nationals this year, and Jody answers the often asked question, how many 1/4 zips is enough?
As we roll into Nationals, we have a double episode this week. Top men's player Max LiPevert (who also owns Clark Trophies) and court builder David Dodge from Total Platform Tennis talk with us in a longer episode. Max will talk about his run this season with his partner Anton Protsenko as they head into Nationals as well as what keeps him busy when off the court, running Clark Trophies. Then we are joined by David Dodge, owner of Total Platform Tennis, and a man who has been building courts for 35 years. If you have played paddle, you've likely been on a court that he has been involved with. Much like the episode about paddles and balls, David helps dispel some common misconceptions about courts.
Get a chance to sit around the virtual table with some top names in women's paddle: Ana Marija Zubori leads a talk with Heather Prop, Lauren Gebbia, Florentina Hanisch, Kerri Delmonico and APTA President, Tiernan Cavanna as they talk about the evolution of the game, strategy, PTI and the future of paddle. What else would they rather be doing on Valentine's evening but talking (or in Kerri's case playing) paddle.

Ryan is part of the huge and vibrant program at Rowayton CT. Ryan shares some great stories including how he may have single handedly altered the history of men's paddle by bringing in one of the greats of the game.
Thanks to Tiernan and Ryan!
You've heard him on the APTA livestreaming broadcasts, now get some behind the scenes insight from a man who has seen and been involved with a lot of paddle over the years. We're happy to have on Mark Fischl.
Following up on the roadtrip to Louisville where drinks were involved, we decided to do a Christmas edition at Ben's place with Jeronie Barnes, a pro in Chicago and top player nationally. Plenty of stories are told, mainly about one person, but every paddle community probably has someone similar, someone who is a good player, and is content to play as long as it takes until you make a mistake...
Hope you enjoy!
Happy to have on the show Kerri Delmonico and Lauren Gebbia. Two women with a long list of paddle accomplishments. Not only did they seem to have too much fun doing the interview, but be sure to listen for some great paddle insight and strategy.

Not many players can not play paddle all season until a week before Nationals start, then step in an make it to the finals, but our guest on the show did that this year. When you've already won 3 titles and oh yeah, WIMBLEDON, maybe it wasn't that hard for him. We were very excited to have an often requested guest on the show, Jared Palmer.
Get to know the hosts a bit and learn all you ever wanted to about Pro Wrestling. We also disclose some guests coming up later this summer.
Make sure to sign up for the best summer paddle tourney in the Midwest too, the Mudhole at Elysium tennis in Columbus. Contact Brian Heil at Elysium for details on the July 11th tourney.

Hear thoughts from one of the top women's players in the game and what she does outside of the paddle court. Plus, hear how crappy it sounds when Noah talks into the wrong end of his mic for the whole episode.
Coming out of the gates strong, we get to talk to current men's National Champions, Johan DuRandt and Stephen Mitchell as they discuss a wrap up of this years Nationals, the underhand serve and of course, the Tiger King.
