Shirrell is from Akron, Ohio and her major is young English adolescent education. She is the vice president of the Black Student Union and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated Beta Lambda Chapter. She also is teaching at Start High School in Toledo.

Jeremiah and Shirrell talk about their experience at UToledo, as well as her major and what's she's involved in at UT.
