Episode 210 - Beauchamp Must Be a Complete Idiot

It's another off-script edition of the Intentional Foul! We run through the NFL Draft picks made by the Bears (punter?) and Packers, plus whether attending next year's draft in Green Bay is in the cards. The Brewers get crushed by the Yankees and get hosed in the process...also the pitching staff is holding on by a thread. The Bucks are one loss away from getting bounced out of the playoffs in the 1st round...again. Injury issues abound plus Portis with a non-so-intelligent move. Offseason predictions from Dan. And the Badgers hoops team gets a couple commitments out of the transfer portal in the last few days. All that and more coming up on this episode! Tell your friends.

Episode 209 - Cooper DeJean No Matter What

Episode 209 - Cooper DeJean No Matter What

It's the week of the NFL Draft...a time to nerd out and watch teams build...or sometimes break...their team. Round 1 is Thursday in Detroit. The Bears have 4 total picks but two in the 1st round while the Packers have 11 picks (tied for the most) and select 25th in the 1st round. We'll talk some direction for both teams and some guys available around when each squad is set to pick. College athletics needs to figure out a better system than the current one for the transfer portal/paying players...because it's ruining things. The Badger basketball team has seven players leaving and some of it is due to money. From there it's the Bucks in the playoffs and the NBA. Plus some Brewers sprinkled in. All that and more on this episode of the Intentional Foul! Tell your friends.

Dan says shut Giannis down for the year (playoffs) since they're not contending for the title. Bucks playoffs start in a week and a half. The Brewers are putting up runs but the defensive hole is at 3rd base...plus pitching concerns. All that and more on this episode! Tell your friends.

Packers should have a kicking competition and Jordan Love will get paid this summer. More rule changes?! The Bucks have 11 games left in the regular season and are playing better all the time. All that and more coming up on this edition of the Intentional Foul! Tell your friends.

The Bucks were doing well out of the All-Star Break...up until a trip to Cali. It's conference tournament time for the Badgers and Marquette with Selection Sunday this weekend. And speaking of Wisconsin...in the final 20 minutes, Dan gives a large scale presentation about the basketball program's recruiting signings, rankings, development and also who they let get away....and you can draw your own conclusions. It's definitely interesting. All that and more on this edition! Tell your friends.

Episode 202 - How 'Bout Dem Packers!

Episode 202 - How 'Bout Dem Packers!

We start this split squad edition talking about the complete domination of the Packers in Dallas during the NFL's Wild Card Weekend. Green Bay whoops the Cowboys from "pillar to post" as Gorilla Monsoon would have said in the old school WWF days. Jordan Love was masterful. Matt LaFleur had the offense clicking. And Joe Barry probably earned himself another year in GB. How Mike McCarthy and defensive coordinator Dan Quinn didn't lose their jobs is a mystery. Now it's onto San Francisco in the divisional round. Elsewhere, the Flacco magic runs out...the Dolphins freeze their asses off...the Lions win a shootout....the can't move the ball...and Philly closes out with a whimper. Division round previews and predictions. Plus the Bucks, Badgers and Marquette hopes to wrap up another edition of The Intentional Foul. Tell your friends.

Episode 199 - Does Jaire Alexander Not Like Football?

After weeks without some new material, we're back with 100+ minutes of playing catch-up with everything going on in sports (mostly). Week 14 results, standings and Week 15 matchups. The college football playoff committee had its work cut out for them. Did they make the right call? The Badgers are somehow undeservingly in a New Year's Day bowl game. The Bucks are 17-7, got a franchise night from Giannis and are involved in some postgame drama with the Pacers. College hoops: Marquette and Wisconsin...and the Badgers beating the Golden Eagles. And finally baseball...the Brewers give Jackson Chourio a boatload of money, plus Shohei Ohtani's deal dooms small market teams. All that and more on this edition of the Intentional Foul! Episode 198 - Arrogant Wisconsin Board of Whatever

Watching football at the bar? Lot of excellent opinions there! It's how we kick off this episode of the Intentional Foul as the dynamic duo is back together. Plenty of material today... The Packers beat the Rams in a bad display of football. The Bears lose to the Saints and Tyson Bagent wasn't good. Why is QB play terrible in the league? Week 9 results plus week 10 previews. The Badgers are coming off a bad loss to Indiana and have yet to be bowl eligible...and is Wisconsin in trouble going forward with the addition of the PAC teams? In baseball, the Cubs overpay Craig Counsell to get him 90 minutes south of Milwaukee. Opinions vary. The Bucks are 5-2 and have had a number of close wins. And the UW-Whitewater football team wraps up its conference schedule Saturday with playoffs on the horizon. All that more over the next hour-plus. Tell your friends.

We're baaaaaack together for an episode! And a LOT to catch up on. The Packers have lost to two bad teams and could be in for an even longer season...but will any changes be made? The Bears put together an impressive game against the Raiders...but Tyson Bagent isn't gonna be the answer. Week 7 NFL results and week 8 matchups. Plus who's leading the Caleb Williams sweepstakes? The Badgers pull one out against Illinois and are still alive in the Big Ten West thanks to the Boat Rowers. An all-Wild Card World Series...is anyone gonna watch? Craig Counsell to the Mets?! The NBA season has started and the Bucks/Sixers are the last two teams to play, tonight. Dan has some other league thoughts and guys who need to "shit or get off the pot." It's the final episode before a long hiatus of a cohost of the Intentional Foul...and it's the first show in almost a month! A lot to go over including training camps (finally) for the Packers and Bears plus their first preseason games. The Blind Side apparently is not what it seems. Episode 187 - I'm Offline Permanently

Episode 187 - I'm Offline Permanently

Back to back weeks with some sports content on the Intentional Foul...although it's secondary to our movie nerdness to close things out. Not much happening in the NFL with offseason minicamps going on before a break for the summer. Again with the question of whether Jordan Love is any good... Some Bucks and NBA Finals chatter. The Brewers reached the low point of their season this past weekend. A fulfilled request about the PGA/LIV golf merger. Plus a high school summer basketball tournament in town and a Janesville athlete is going to play division 1 college football. But for the finale...we break down our favorite actors and actresses who have gone through a streak of years producing can't-miss movies. A pretty good list put together but each of us. All that and more on this episode! Tell your friends.

Episode 186 - Do You Want a F'n Back Massage?!

Episode 186 - Do You Want a F'n Back Massage?!

Only took a month....but we're back with another off-script episode of the Intentional Foul. We keep it simple... Packers in OTAs and why do we need to decide whether Jordan Love is good right now? Aaron Rodgers actually attending offseason things for the Jets and oh yeah he wanted Brian Gutekunst fired. The Bears in OTAs and maybe they're moving to....Naperville? The NBA playoffs/Finals plus the Bucks new head coach and a midseason tournament? The Brewers lead the league in players on the injured list but keep winning games. Badger football and basketball recruiting. Some high school spring sports. All that and more for the next hour. Tell your friends.

Episode 185 - Just Put Sophia On My TV

Episode 185 - Just Put Sophia On My TV

Another off-script version of the Intentional Foul this week! We start with the NFL Draft from a couple weeks ago and break down the Bears and Packers picks. Green Bay has Jordan Love on a two-year experiment, essentially. The Bucks are done with the playoffs going out in horrendous fashion...and Mike Budenholzer pays the price. Who's next and what's the roster gonna look like? And not much to report on the Brewers other than...who's going to be on the radio and TV broadcasts from game to game?! Who knows!! But why?! All that and more coming up on this hour-plus edition. Tell your friends.

Episode 184 - Bucks Have the Browns Stink On 'Em

Episode 184 - Bucks Have the Browns Stink On 'Em

It's NFL Draft time! On this edition of the Intentional Foul we'll touch base with our Bears expect Lorin Cox and talk a bit about Chicago's strategy pre-draft and going into the three-day event. Aaron Rodgers is a Jet and apparently has bad cell reception in his house. The Bucks are a game away from elimination in the first round of the playoffs. Will coach Bud still have his job if they get knocked out? Maybe a curse of new ownership... The Brewers have cooled off after a hot start and everybody is starting to get hurt! The bullpen could be a liability this season as well. We'll be at AmFam Field on Saturday! All that ahead on this episode! Tell your friends.

Apr 27, 202301:06:29
Episode 183 - Bent His Leg Like Gumby

Episode 183 - Bent His Leg Like Gumby

No rundown for this edition of the Intentional Foul so we're going off-script! The NFL draft is just over a week away and nothing between the Packers/Jets concerning Aaron Rodgers. The Bears could trade down...again? Plus Jalen Hurts cashes in. The Bucks started their playoff push with a loss at home to the Heat. Giannis goes out with a back injury. More NBA playoff matchups. Wisconsin hoops gets some incoming transfers and a Marquette player explores the draft. The Brewers have had a great start to the season and the young kids are showing some flash. All that and more coming up in this edition! Tell your friends.

Episode 182 - The Caitlyn Clark Effect

Episode 182 - The Caitlyn Clark Effect

We start out this episode talking mock drafts with the NFL's approaching in a few weeks. Is there ANY legitimacy to them whatsoever?! Quiet time in the NFL at the moment. The Bucks wrapped up the top overall seed in the NBA playoff race last night with a win over the Bulls. The way the MVP is awarded is stupid. They have a new CBA as well. A lackluster wrap to a lackluster men's NCAA tournament while the women's tourney raked in the ratings. Iowa vs LSU smack talk showdown. The Brewers have been crushing since the Opening Day loss. Corbin Burnes has been roughed up twice. New rules...like 'em? All that and more on a pitch clock shortened version of the Intentional Foul this week! Tell your friends.

Episode 181 - The West is Wild

Episode 181 - The West is Wild

Finally back after a few weeks with another episode of the Intentional Foul....and we missed a lot. The new Jordan show movie plus a huge switch in brand loyalty kicks things off...and goes right into Aaron Rodgers vs Brian Gutekunst....who's telling the truth?! Is Greg Jennings vindicated now? Round two: Lamar Jackson vs the Baltimore Ravens. The Bucks have a little less wiggle room after getting blow out last night...but they're still the top seed in the East with a few games to play. NCAA tournament time: do you like the teams in the final four that have lower seeds? Or do you want the top teams in it every year? The Badgers bow out of the NIT and could be active in the transfer portal (incoming AND outgoing). And it was Opening Day around Major League Baseball...with the Brewers the offense again could be a problem while the starting rotation will be strong. All this and more coming up on this edition! Tell your friends.

Episode 180 - Death or Combustion

Episode 180 - Death or Combustion

It's tournament time on this edition of the Intentional Foul! But before we get to the madness, first it's NFL free agency and dramatics in Green Bay. The Bears trade their #1 draft pick for a boatload of picks and a player...then use their $72 million in salary cap to add a couple linebackers plus an offensive and defensive lineman. Is Aaron Rodgers going to the Jets? He's got a wish list and they already checked Allen Lazard off of it. The Bucks try to win their west coast road trip coming off a win and fight in Sacramento. The Badgers are in the NIT while Marquette wins both the Big East conference regular season and tournament. Bracket breakdowns! The high school girls hoops state tournament wrapped up this past weekend and the boys tourney starts Thursday. All that and more coming up! Tell your friends.

Episode 179 - Eff the Gamesmanship

Episode 179 - Eff the Gamesmanship

Back after a busy few weeks off due to high school sports broadcasts...it's another edition of the Intentional Foul! It might be the NFL offseason, but there's plenty of news/rumors concerning the Bears trading from the top spot in the draft, the Packers maybe trading Aaron Rodgers to the Jets, plus some stuff from the combine in Indianapolis. In the NBA, the Bucks have the best record in the East after catching the Celtics and rattling off 16 wins in a row. Dan has plenty of news from around the league. In college hoops, we know now that the Badgers are one and done in the Big Ten Tournament, capping a lackluster season. Marquette is the regular season champion in the Big East and has some notable awards of distinction. And in spring training baseball...who knows. Plus we wrap up our high school basketball broadcast season. All that and more on this episode! Tell your friends.

Mar 09, 202301:17:37
Episode 178 - People Breathing, Talking, Walking

Episode 178 - People Breathing, Talking, Walking

Back after a week off with a post-Super Bowl/NFL wrap-up edition: Chiefs win, late penalty, and is Mahomes an all-time great already? Plus a bunch of coaching hires and a major player gets released. Mock drafts! The Bucks are inching closer to the all-star break and are right near the top of the Eastern Conference. Tons of trades made before the deadline and some big names get shipped. Lebron breaks a record. In college hoops, Wisconsin might not make the NCAA tournament without a late run and Marquette is on top of the Big East after being picked to finish 9th in a preseason poll. In baseball, the extra-innings-runner-on-2nd is here to stay plus bases are now the "size of pizza boxes." High school hoops: girls brackets are released and some weird stuff shakes out while the boys brackets are this Sunday. All that and more coming up on this episode of the Intentional Foul. Tell your friends.

Episode 177 - Hall of "I'll Bang Your Girlfriend"

Episode 177 - Hall of "I'll Bang Your Girlfriend"

The Super Bowl participants are set with the Eagles and Chiefs winning their respective conference title games. What do the Niners do at QB now? Bad officiating in both games. The Bucks are getting healthier (kind of) while opponents are getting hurt more. Is Jae Crowder going to be acquired before the trade deadline? LeBron throws a giant tantrum. Marquette is tied atop the Big East and Dan goes off on the state of the Badgers program saying that it is time for a change in Madison...kinda like the football program. RIP Billy Packer. Baseball's Hall of Good. Some high school hoops in our 7th year calling games. And we're down to three finalists for the UW Whitewater head coach position. All that and more in close to 90 minutes! Tell your friends.

Jan 31, 202301:26:06
Episode 176 - Random White Utility Guy

Episode 176 - Random White Utility Guy

Back after a week off with another near-90 minute episode! First off, a new poll came out with the top 20 best video games of all time...and the list is not great. Next, the divisional round of the NFL playoffs weren't spectacular: no lead changes, a big injury, a blowout and a hilarious last play from Dak/McCarthy. Episode 174: What's the Lebron Award, Most Flops?

Episode 174: What's the Lebron Award, Most Flops?

On this week's episode of the Intentional Foul... There's a lot left to be decided heading into the final week of the NFL regular season...including what's going to happen with the Bills/Bengals game that was stopped as a player's life hangs in the balance. Bears get whooped and should play for the #1 pick in the draft...but will they? Packers stomp the Vikings...but is Green Bay suddenly good, or is Minnesota a fraud? Standings and scenarios heading into week 18. Awesome college football playoff semifinals, and the Badgers suddenly have a wealth of quarterback talent starting next season. The Bucks haven't been spectacular as of late (but did get a win after we signed off). Wisconsin and Marquette college hoops teams are having better-than-expected seasons. Another edition of: what you shouldn't say on the air during a sports broadcast. Plus a little nugget about the Brewers and free agency. All that and more coming up over the next 90+ minutes! Episode 173 - Beat Jeff Saturday on Saturday

Episode 173 - Beat Jeff Saturday on Saturday

Apologies for last week's missing podcast...we were in Studio B and we recorded one....somehow it didn't show up and the matrix swallowed it. So...all our brilliance was lost last week. But we're back with another episode of the Intentional Foul pre-Christmas. Week 15 of the NFL season saw the Bears almost pull one out against the Eagles and the Packers beat a bad Rams team. What are these hand signals with Aaron Rodgers and the receivers? Early signing day for recruiting in college football and the Badgers got a decent haul...couple areas of concern though. Graham Mertz is also a Florida Gator. The Bucks are gearing up for a Christmas day showdown with the Celtics. College hoops: Badgers and Marquette. And finally...the return of the Top 5! Our best Christmas presents we received as a kid....that we can remember. All that and more on this edition! Have a great holiday and remember...tell your friends.

Episode 171 - What the f--- are you doing...?!

A couple of different food discussions as the side dishes to our main course of sports on this week's edition of the Intentional Foul. Cereal sizes and leftover milk, plus does Thanksgiving need turkey anymore...? Otherwise it's pretty much all bad news for the Bears and Packers as both teams deal with quarterback injuries. Should Jordan Love start the last few weeks of the season? Week 12 results and week 13 previews. Plus the Badgers fail to regain the Axe and Jim Leonhard is passed over for Luke Fickell...a big discussion about the future of the program. The Bucks keep winning, Middleton is getting closer, and Grayson Allen is playing well. College hoops: a good showing for the Badgers in their holiday tournament and Marquette splits at theirs as both teams play each other Saturday. Not much to report on high school hoops but a coaching change for the UW-Whitewater football team. All that and more over the next 90+ minutes. Tell your friends.

Episode 170 - Battle of the Midget Quarterbacks

Episode 170 - Battle of the Midget Quarterbacks

It's a solemn edition of the Intentional Foul this week as I'm grieving the unexpected and early loss of the UW-Whitewater football team in the first round of the playoffs. Otherwise, all rose petals and gummy bears as both the Packers and Bears continue to lose...GB to the Titans (looked awful) and Chicago to the Falcons (game-ending INT by Fields). Season is over for the Packers at this point. The Bears can continue showing promise. Other week 11 results and week 12 previews. Dan says the Badgers/Cornhuskers game could be the worst football game he's ever seen...1-point Wisconsin win makes Bucky bowl eligible. Battle for the Axe this week. The Bucks continue to play well and have put Laddergate behind them. A Portis/Nworra update as well. College hoops, both Marquette and Wisconsin are playing in holiday tournaments. Our high school hoops season has started and I'll cap the UWW football experience. All that and more coming up just shy of 90 minutes on this episode. Tell your friends.

Episode 167 - I Can't Domesticate the Stripper

Who would have thought things are trending in opposite direction for the Packers and the Bears...but that's exactly what's going on...and the teams have identical records. That's how we kick off this week's edition of the Intentional Foul. Two embarrassing performances by the Bears and Packers as we kick off another edition of the Intentional Foul this week. Chicago's challenges continue while Green Bay could be in some trouble. Not the way we wanted to start off the NFL season...but people around Josh keep getting Covid...maybe he's to blame?! We give you a rundown of the Bears and Packers heading into the season plus every week 1 matchup and our picks for the divisions, playoffs and Super Bowl. Brewers notes including another (former) player that has some interesting language concerning management. Episode 161 - Terrible Short Term Memory for....Reasons

Football is back as of next week and so is the weekly (hopefully) edition of the Intentional Foul! Preseason is finished...Jordan Love looks serviceable for GB in case Aaron Rodgers has a booboo. Rodgers also spent three hours with Joe Rogan. Dan says the Bears shouldn't as bad as some people think they could be. Some other NFL notes before afternoon cuts Tuesday afternoon. 11 college football games this past Saturday and Nebraska continues to impress...not. The Badgers will have a backup QB with zero game experience when the season opens vs Illinois State. The Brewers have fallen off since the Hader trade...and so has Hader. Milwaukee six games out of the division and a game and a half of the final wild card spot. Some NBA notes with Giannis playing overseas. Plus some loyal listener feedback! We need to bring back some semblance of a top 5 and talk more local high school sports. Done and done! All that and more this week on the Intentional Foul! Tell your friends.
