She provides counseling to newcomer professional clients and support them to connect to their relevant field of expertise in the Canadian labor market. She is also an immigrant, and she recently completed a master of immigration and settlement studies at Toronto Metropolitan University.


In this first part, Meg talks about how she didn't conform to Japanese society but also felt out of place in Canada, the responsibility of employers in Canada to help bridge the gap for newcomers, and the benefits of mentorship and networking to your success in Canada.
