In this week’s episode we discuss the recent announcement of possible indictment against former US President, Donald J. Trump. Manhattan, New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg did confirm that he has plans on indicting the former president for falsifying business documents. If this were to happen, it would be the first time that a former president of the US could be arrested and charged for a crime. Also, the Ugandan parliament has passed a law that would make gay sex punishable by death. We discuss where this decision is rooted from, and whether or not the western world has the right approach in trying to address this human rights issue.

After spending a week in a rehab center, and with plans on returning to NBA play this week, many are asking if mental health was the real reason he left. And why it seems as though he was rushed back to play? Also on the show, the San Francisco branch of the NAACP decided to reject the proposed offer of reparations the city had put together, which included money pay outs of up to $5M dollars. What was their reasoning? And Ben Crump, is once again, fighting for another family to get answers. The body of Rasheem Carter was found with it’s head severed, in the woods of Mississippi, in October of 2022. In this week’s episode the fellas tackle the recent decision from the Florida Department of Education, and  Governor Ron DeSantis to reject the framework for an AP African American studies course for High Schools.  The Administration in their rejection stated that the course “As presented, the content of this course is inexplicably contrary to Florida law and significantly lacks educational value.”   The backlash has been swift, and with limited clarification from the Governor.  For many this is just another example of DeSantis’ attack on “Woke Culture”.  We also discuss the decision from Bethune Cookman University to part ways with their prospective football head-coach, Ed Reed.  This comes after Reed released multiple videos on Instagram attacking the schools lack of resources and the growing rift between him and the administration.  Is Reed being punished for telling the truth?  Or was he out of line?  And Lastly we tackle the murder of Tyre Nichols at the hands of five Black Memphis police officers.  What does this mean for the city of Memphis?  We discuss all that and much more.
