In this mini episode we discuss the local urban legand of a mysterious arcade game called Polybius. This arcade game is said to have appeared on the Portland arcade scene for about a month in the fall of 1981, causing some harmful sideaffects and visitaions by men in black. The question we 40 years later is did this arcade game actually existed or is it just a legend?

On this episode we discuss the story of Ape Canyon. In 1924 a group of miners were said to have been attacked by what they described as ape men while prospecting near Mt. St. Helens in Washington.

In this episode we discuss the mysterious disappearance of Kyron Horman, who went missing from Skyline elementary school in Portland, Oregon on June 4, 2010, after attending his school science fair. The disappearance of this 7 year old boy became one of the biggest searches for a missing child in recent Oregon history, and 10 years later this case remains open with lots of unanswered questions surrounding it.

On this episode of In The Shadows we discuss the infamous legend of DB Cooper. Thanksgiving eve, November 24th 1971, a man going by the name Dan Cooper boards Northwest Orient Airlines flight 305 from Portland, Oregon to Seattle, Washington. It's on this flight that the most infamous hijacking in aviation history occurs, a mystery that almost 50 years later has yet to be solved.

Leah Roberts was a North Carolina native, who was inspired by the writings of Jack Kerouac to drive cross country alone, only to mysteriously disappear on a logging road in the wilderness of northern Washington in March 2000.
