Intro:Works

Jasmine Sears is a fashion designer based in Los Angeles, CA. Jasmine focuses on making clothes that are sustainable, ethically-sourced and unisex. After taking up sewing again at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, Jasmine had the idea to start a pajama company after not being able to find sets that were made humanely and with the environment in mind. In this episode, we discuss this new sleepwear brand, Camp Sleepwear, which is set to launch in the fall.

Jamie Brooks is a multimedia artist and musician based in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in LA, Jamie has been involved in the local art and music scene for many years. She works with a variety of mediums, including ceramics, sound, illustration, wire sculpture and more recently super 8 film. In this episode. we discuss Jamie's project, "No Safe Place," an archive depicting the criminalization of the Los Angeles unhoused community.

Gbenga is a multidisciplinary artist, art curator and DJ based in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout his practice thus far, Gbenga has worked with both tactile and digital mediums to present his ideas and experiences, typically dealing with themes surrounding subjective identity, cultural symbolism and collective nostalgia. In this episode, we discuss his textile piece, "Bear's Paw" (2020), which explores the shape of the foot and the relationship between the imprint of human feet and that of a bear's paw.

Serena Bree is a digital and film photographer based out of Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in LA, Serena has been taking photos ever since 2013. She specializes in portraits, architecture and landscape photography, taking beautiful photos all across Los Angeles and California in interesting and distinctive perspectives. She has worked with brands like Ian Charms and Courtyard LA. Serena is a senior at USC, studying business administration. In this episode, Serena discusses her photo series, "Hope", which features her neighborhood murals of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Yong Loh is a Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker. They explore themes revolving around cultural identity, queer utopias and imagined futures. Yong is a senior at USC, majoring in Film Production at the School of Cinematic Arts. In this episode, Yong discusses their cookbook and its experimental photo series, which explores how food can relate to the physical form.

Saul Singleton is a LA-based mixed media artist, photographer and DJ. Hailing from Bethesda, Maryland, Saul has a unique aesthetic that melds dynamic and textural visuals, creating a space that oozes a lofi utopia. Saul is a current junior at USC, majoring in Film Production in the School of Cinematic Arts and minoring in Intermedia Arts at Roski, School of Art and Design. In this episode, Saul discusses his untitled photo series, featuring none other than slime and wire.
