Introverted Poetess: A Taste You'll Never Forget

By Introvertedpoetess

My original poems spanning between 14 to 36 years. Every topic for every subject. I am being myself, raw, straight from the source, unedited. Flaws and all, it's okay to mess up in a world where too many people try to hide behind a facade of perfection. Impossible! I'm happy to be me, naturally, and imperfectly perfect. I give it the way I give it, if you like well join my club, if you don't then hey. I'm not everybody's taste, but I am a heck of a shock to your taste buds. Let me get my foot in good. Heeeeyyyy I'm on my way baby. Enjoy!

Pillow Talk

Pillow Talk

A light erotica poem for those nights when you feeling frisky, just a little bit now. The title basically says it all. It's pillow talk baby.

Unspoken Emotions

Unspoken Emotions

A poem about meeting somebody as friends, but falling so hard for them, all the while knowing they can't be in your arms, because they are already in another's arms. Not my personal experience, but a lot of people can relate. Hope you enjoy it.

Poverty

Poverty

This poem I wrote during a hard time in my life, I was angry. The hurricane had just messed up my house, as well as some inside property damage. Fema denied my claim. So I'm stuck with all that damage, plus bills, then the property tax came. I thought to myself, they don't have no mercy. They will squeeze every penny out if you, and watch you shrivel up and die. So yes I was pissed off when I wrote this poem.

Not Real

Not Real

Everybody has that dream man/woman, that is never real. That person no one seems to measure up to. Well my poem is about that person. I just wrote it one day when I was all caught up in my feelings, being all hopelessly romantic. I'm sure most of y'all can relate, because fortunately some people do fund that dream person.

Allow Me

Allow Me

A poem with a subtle seductive twist. The main aim is mental eroticism. Less about the physical and more about the mental. All too often people want to focus on the carnal aspect, but if you can engage the psyche expertly, then the rest will follow, but will be more enticing to stick around. Touch is nothing without mind massaging.

Hate You

Hate You

A poem I wrote, because men/women are toxic. It has no gender. Both can be bad for you. I wrote it in the perspective of a woman, because well... I am a woman. If only people could be strong enough to not let what others label them as be their perception of their self. If only people would look to their own opinion of themselves in honesty, relationships would be a step closer to successful.

Inevitable Destruction

Inevitable Destruction

This poem can be perceived in many different interpretations. I like to give a wide array of various meanings to one poem, let the reader/hearer decipher what they get from it. Tell me what you thought.

Sacrifice

Sacrifice

A poem I wrote after seeing all too often, children are left to fend for themselves, left motherless and fatherless. Parents on drugs, or too busy for them, or all together just leaving them. I understand their plight, and feel their pain. From experience, a parent or both can be present in your life and not be there for you. It is a subject close to my heart. Who cares for the children who are suffering horrific ordeals every day of their young lives. You're supposed to be happy as a kid, but no, most kids never ever get a childhood.
