It was released in 2019 and it explores the unique experiences of Black travelers in America, specifically during the Jim Crow era. The film uses VR technology to transport viewers back in time, immersing them in the physical and emotional experiences of Black travelers during that period. The film aims to give viewers a deeper understanding of the history of racial discrimination in America and the ongoing challenges faced by Black travelers today.

In this episode, I spoke with Brandon Morris, a supervisor at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Brandon has only used the Oculus Quest 2 three times and so I had a conversation with him about what he has done and what he plans to do. We also spoke about use cases for the Oculus in the justice system. We explored how staff at the Wisconsin DOC could use VR technology along with inmates.
