Erin Strieck, PGA Head Golf Professional at the Pinnacle Country Club in Milan, Illinois, joins the podcast to share stories of how she caught the 'golf bug' early in life and how that has shaped her into who she is today. Strieck was recently elected as President of the Iowa Section at the Iowa PGA Annual Fall Meeting and Merchandise Show in October 2021, becoming the first female to be elected President in the Iowa PGA Section. Clint and Chad welcome 2007 Iowa Golf Hall of Fame inductee Jock Olson to the podcast. Olson, a native of Marshalltown, has been a golf professional for over 35 years. His first job came at the Des Moines Golf and Country Club as an assistant, the start of a journey that led him the head golf professional at Interlachen Country Club in Edina, Minn., one of the top-ranked courses in Minnesota annually, from 1994-2009. Jock also served as head golf professional at the Cedar Rapids Country Club from 1983 to 1993 and the Burlington Golf Club from 1976 to 1982. Olson currently serves as Director of Club Relations for ForeTees, LLC, a position he has held since 2009.

Barb (Thomas) Whitehead, originally from Sibley, joins the podcast with Clint and Katelynn to chat about her 19-year career on the LPGA Tour. Whitehead also recounts stories of growing up and finding her love for the game in Northwest Iowa. A three-time Iowa Women's Amateur champion (1979, 1981, 1982) and 2008 Iowa Golf Hall of Fame inductee, Whitehead's determination and competitive spirit were second to none during her days on the course.

Carson Schaake, former University of Iowa golfer, joins the podcast as he prepares for this week's U.S. Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, CA. The New Guy
We welcome and get to know a little about Ben Larson, the IGA's new Director of Competitions. Larson, who started with the IGA on Jan. 1, 2021, spent the past seven years as the Director of Competitions for the South Dakota Golf Association, where he administered their men’s and women’s state championships, as well as USGA qualifiers. He has attained an expert rating from the USGA based on his rules of golf exam scores and has been invited to serve as a rules official at USGA championships in the past. Larson grew up in Webster City and is a member of the PGA of America, gaining his Class A status in 2005.
