It's A Social Thing

It's A Social Thing

By Venus Ranieri

On average, you spend 2 hours and 22 minutes of your day on social media. Let's say you're 25 years old, got your first MySpace when you were 13. That's at least 9,723.6 hours of your life.

Over the past ten years, channels have risen and fallen, trends have come and go. More importantly, social media has changed the way we think, behave, and act– on and off the internet.

This podcast aims to explore the good, the bad and the ugly of social through stories and expert analysis.

Some episodes may make you laugh, others may make you cry. But it's a podcast, so at least no one has to know.

Hacked? It happens. A Thanksgiving Conversation Guide For Your Loved Ones

Hacked? It happens. A Thanksgiving Conversation Guide For Your Loved Ones

*Sarah McLachlan's In the Arms of An Angel Plays*

Has someone at your Thanksgiving dinner been hacked online recently? You're not alone. There is a hacker attack every 39 seconds.  (Security Magazine).  IT questions and general questions about weird things happening online are common this time of year. This mini-sode skims the surface on this topic but with enough detail to impress your family that you really know your stuff and maybe save one or two of them from becoming part of that statistic.
