Cheaper by the Dozen, Original vs remake
Hello my best boys and girls! Today I will be discussing the 2022 remake of the 2003 film, Cheaper by the Dozen. I will be discussing how it holds up to the original as well as my overall thoughts on how they handled some of the elements of the film. It does some things better, but some the original does better. What elements you may ask, well, you will have to listen to the podcast to find out! Be sure to share with all your friends, family, neighbors, and even your archrivals. Thanks for listening and be sure to follow my Instagram @post_credits_podcast
Movie Viewing
Hello! Today, on the topic of Barbieheimer, I decided to talk about other reasons and ways a movie could get popular, and people (perhaps yourself) have seen movies. I then decide to talk about some of the unique viewing experiences that theaters can offer as well as my personal thoughts on them. Thanks for listening and be sure to keep on listening for more great content and share with your friends and family and even your moral enemies. The Circle-what???
So this episode is on THE Circle (2017), this is different from the 2015 movie, Circle which I already talked about on my podcast. This follows Mae, a young employee at a social media giant called The Circle. Things are slowly starting to get more and more creepy mainly in the form of surveillance. When something big happens in her life regarding the Circle, we can trust our girl Mae to do the right thing! Right?... Right???
Regardless, I hope you enjoyed this episode! Be sure to follow me on Instagram (not The Circle) @post_credits_podcast Share with all your friends and thanks for listening!

Hello my best boys and girls! Season 4 is almost upon us and I realized you guys have some questions. Such as... "How are my investments?" "What should I do with my life?" "Why won't my crush talk to me?" "Why does he insist on calling us his best boys and girls?" "What is the best school to go to?" "Why are my cats so weird?" Well, I can for sure answer one of those questions! I also answer multiple questions about my podcast! Feel free to follow me @post_credits_podcast and season 4 episode 1 coming out May 30th, 2023 and 12:00am! ENJOY and tell all your friends, family, coworkers, acquaintances and mortal enemies. Repeating Days movie
It has been too long! Here is some content. This episode will go over the differences between "repeating days" movies. This means when the main character goes through days that repeat (Groundhog Day, Edge of Tomorrow, and Happy Death Day). I go over some of the things that are the same and some of the things that set each of them apart. I also decided to give you a preview of Post-Credits Rants & References Season 4! I hope you enjoy! Endings to movies
Well, since my SEASON (not my podcast) is coming to a close, I thought I should talk about endings to movies and some of the different types of endings as well as my opinions on them. One of the main things discussed is endings of movies vs the explanation and how sometimes it's about the journey and the moral. I hope you enjoy this episode and make sure you follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast. Thanks for listening to this episode of Post-Credits: Rants & References!
How Veggietales handles some dark subjects
Hello, my best boys and girls! So, the Bible can get very dark and gruesome sometimes and well, it can be hard to make a children's TV show about it. However Big Idea did just that and managed to handle the dark subjects and topics of the Bible with class and art. How you ask? Well, listen to this episode of Post-Credits: Rants & References to find out. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast Enjoy!
Animated vs Live-Action
Tv shows...we all know 'em and most of the time, they are animated or live action. Most of the time, animated is for children but there are some exceptions, and they are for the older crowd (Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, ect). Live action can be for anyone, but we tend to watch more live action as we get older. And yes, while I did do an animated vs live-action Survivor episode, I decided to discuss the differences between them as well as some of the challenges that can come from both.
How to make a perfect Horror Movie...using a short film, Lights Out
So, it is almost Halloween time for pumpkins, candy, and horror films. Some are good and others are...not so good. However, I have found the best way to make a horror film in the form of the 2013 short (3 mins!) film, Lights Out. This will be similar to where I break down why that episode of Scrubs made the perfect twist where I identify an element in the example, and I explain why it's good. I hope you enjoy, and feel free to follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast Tell everyone you know!
Trippy Reality Movies
Rewatching TV shows
Well, I'm back my best boys and girls and I will be talking about rewatching movies and TV shows and how your opinion can change based on a lot of different things. While the movie and TV shows don't change, your opinion and you do! Something that could be funny, and the best thing ever could be annoying and stupid later on and something that is boring, and lame could be the best thing ever a few years later. The themes could be clearer, the undertones are better, and it could be all around better.
Sequels AND New Seasons
A little while ago, I talked about sequels and prequels to movies. However, I feel I could have gone deeper into sequels and discussed new seasons of show since that is pretty much like a sequel. Today, I talk more about sequels and new seasons of TV shows and when they are good and not good. Then, I discuss some theories about the next season of Cobra Kai and my wife contributes to it. I also bring on other guest stars (that don't really talk). That's all for this episode! Thanks for listening to Post Credits: Rants and References and be sure to follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast and I hope you enjoy this episode. Tell all your friends, family, mortal enemies, etc.

Character Assassination vs Character Addition
Sometimes you may be watching a movie sequel, or a TV show and you may be thinking; "What happened to my beloved character? Why are they so bad when they have no reason to be bad?" Well, that is called "Character Assassination" and that means that for some reason, they take a great and beloved character and take all of their good traits and YEET them out the window. Now, the flip side of that is when you're watching a TV show and you're thinking, "Wow, I used to hate this character and now I love them!" Well, that is what I call "Character Addition" and that is when a character changes for the better and we understand why they did what they did. That is what this episode is about, and I hope you enjoy it. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast and thanks for listening!
Unfriended: The Dark Web; they learned
So, I did not like the first Unfriended. So, I was shocked when they made another movie like that. I saw a brief synopsis to see if it was as bad as the first one and it seemed OK. When I was channel surfing at night, I saw it was on and decided to watch it. As Palpatine says "A surprise to be sure but a welcome one." It was not that bad and it actually corrected a lot of the mistakes the first one made. Why? Find out on this episode! Follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast and tell everyone about it!
The Plethora, Crammed Characters, Oblivious Villains, and Cobra Kai predictions
Hello best boys and girls, I am back with another plethora! This time I will be talking about crammed characters and how to spot them. Next, I will be talking about villains who are so focused on their villainous acts that they do not care about THE HUGE THING THE MAIN CHARACTER IS DOING. To end, I will be doing a light-hearted segment on some of the predictions for Cobra Kai. These are not our ideas, we got them off of the internet. That is all for this episode, I hope you enjoy!

Humor and when it works
Everyone loves a little bit of humor (I assume this is why you're listening to this podcast now), but sometimes it falls flat and does not work whatsoever. This episode, I will go over some situations where humor works and does not work as well as if your show or movie needs humor in general. Stay tuned for what I say next weeks' episode is about (HINT: it was VERY POPULAR last year so I brought it back). Tell everyone you know about it and rolllll credits!
All the different types of Villains
Ahhhhh...villains, you love them, you hate them, and you love to hate them! There are many different kinds of villains to the professional, to the twist, to the twisted, to those that are actually...nice? Are you intrigued yet? Well, I sure hope you are because I've got about an hours' worth of great content for you guys and it's all about the villains! Thanks for listening and tell everyone, yes, even the villains in your life! I hope you enjoy!
A Quiet Place vs Bird Box World
Two movies that essentially take away a sense. In A Quiet Place, you can't make any sound and in Bird Box, you can't see...or else you DIE! While these worlds are similar, I do see that they are different in their own way, and I go over that! Thanks for listening to Post-Credits: Rants & References and I hope you enjoy. WandaVision!
What makes the perfect twist- using Scrubs
Everyone wants to be perfect, from a perfect test score to a perfect game in baseball. However, one of these perfect things is so elusive and that is the perfect twist. This episode I will be talking about what makes the perfect plot twist using, not a movie, but an episode of the TV show Scrubs "My Screwup" which executes the perfect twist FLAWLESSLY. I hope you enjoy! New episode every week and be sure to follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast and feel free to reach out!
The Circle and our thoughts

Cliche Traps involving family
You know how some movies have the same tropes over and over AKA cliches? Well today I will be going over the most common one involving family issues. Specifically, how to get someone back with their child or together with someone when another person is involved. However, some movies dare to be different and break the cliches. Stay till the end for a special announcement. I hope you enjoy!
My thoughts on Taken
The Liam Neeson movie Taken is a classic movie. It's got action, high stakes, and a great line that I'm sure everyone has heard of. However, being young (9) when it came out, I did not see it in theaters and finally sat down to see it with some friends. I noticed some things, both good and bad that I wanted to talk about. And yes, this episode will get a bit heavy so be warned. Follow me on IG @post_credits_podcast for more updates. Share with all your friends! Thanks for listening!
Remakes and my thoughts on it
Let's face it, it's no secret that there has been a trend in movies and that is to remake movies. However, is this good or is it bad? When should they remake it? How can it go wrong? How much power does the Death Star use? If you asked any of these questions you're in luck because I will be answering most* of these questions about remakes, including my personal thoughts on them. Follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast for more updates and be sure to tell your family and friends, enemies, and even strangers about it! I hope you enjoy!
* I am not a knowledgeable source about the energy usage of the Death Star. For all Death Star related questions, please contact your local Imperial station for information!
Biblical Movies
Well I did horror movies last week so to balance it out, I did Biblical movies this week. This one will have a lot of religion in it so...take it as you will. I will be discussing the movies Noah and Exodus: Gods and Kings and where they somewhat fell flat. In addition, I will be talking about Prince of Egypt and...well...you will see what I thought of that movie. Enjoy and share with everyone you know! Follow me on Instagram @post_credits_podcast See you next week!
P.S. If my next episodes are late, I apologize; school is picking up!
