How I Would Reboot the Power Rangers [FP 07] (10-20-2023)
In recent years, the talk of making a new/reimagined Power Rangers reboot has intensified. Now that the franchise is owned by Hasbro, it seems that this is inevitable. What would I do if I was writing it? Check out this video to find out some of the ideas I came up with!

Wyld Stallyns Documentary Idea (Bill & Ted) [FP 06] (08-20-2023)
Being a lifelong fan of the Bill & Ted movies, I always loved the idea of an in-depth "Behind the Music" type documentary about the career of the Wyld Stallyns, the fictional band led by Bill S. Preston, Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan that was said to inspire an age of universal harmony and prosperity. At some point between "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" and "Bill & Ted Face the Music," we learned that things didn't always work out the way they wanted it to. Could you imagine if there were a full-length documentary about the rise, fall, and comeback of the Wyld Stallyns? How did Bill & Ted's band fall into obscurity? What could be the aftermath of "Face the Music"?
This was inspired by "This Is Spinal Tap," "Anvil! The Story of Anvil," "Metallica: Some Kind of Monster," and other similar films. Party on, dudes! **Contains SPOILERS for all 3 Bill & Ted films, including "Bill & Ted Face the Music"**

How I would introduce the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe [FP 04] (04-19-2023)
As we look ahead to Phases 5, 6, and beyond of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the big question on most fans' minds is: how will the X-Men fit into all this? More importantly, how could the X-Men fit into established MCU continuity (without any time travel/multiverse shenanigans)? I've thought about this for a while and wanted to share my ideas about how it could be done, and how I would do it. Enjoy!

My idea for a Mickey Mouse movie/Classic Disney Cinematic Universe [FP 03] (03-06-2023)
One of the most iconic characters of all time has not been in his own animated movie in a VERY long time. What would a Mickey origin story look like? How did he meet Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, Pluto, etc? What kind of adventures could they get into? We've seen shows like DuckTales, Goof Troop, Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers, and movies like A Goofy Movie and its sequel. Why not one with Mickey, the one who started it all?

How I would reboot the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... [FP 01] (11-28-2022)

This is the first "Fireside Pitch," in which I put my money where my mouth is and lay out some of the things I would do if I were in charge of making creative decisions. R59 - WWF Slammy Awards (1987) Review
Once again, we are diving into a piece of professional wrestling history, as my friends and I review the infamous WWE (then-WWF) Slammy Awards ceremony from 1987. Joined by my friends Cory "C-Dub" from the band Chronochord along with former FCW Referee and musician Brian Connolly (drummer of The Schmeltz), we do a deep-dive analysis of one of the wackiest wrestling-related television shows in history. From the insane brawl between "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and King Harley Race to the ridiculous award categories, and including the awesomely terrible musical performances, including "Stand Back" by Vince McMahon...really nothing else needs to be said.

R47 - "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" S1E54 "Trick or Treat" Episode Review (12-10-2020)
(Originally recorded July 21, 2018) In the final of my previously-unreleased Power Rangers episode reviews, Seamus Pautz (@celtickraut75) break down probably my favorite episode of the first season "Trick or Treat." Surprisingly, it's not necessarily Halloween-based, yet features the infamous Pumpkin Rapper monster, and poses so many questions about the nature of the game show "Trick or Treat," which is supposedly the number one game show in the country, despite its visibly low budget and confusing set of rules. R47 - "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" (S1E12) "Power Ranger Punks" Review w/ Your Pal Al (12-02-2020)
(Originally recorded June 2, 2018)
This week I'm posting another previously-unreleased deep-dive on one of my favorite guilty pleasures, classic Power Rangers episodes. This time it's the Season 1 Episode 12 "Power Ranger Punks" featuring my buddy, Al Khouri (AKA "Your Pal Al" on YouTube). What does this episode say about the writers' views toward punk/alternative culture? Did that fashion choice work for Billy and Kimberly? Should Skull be pissed that Kimberly supposedly led him on? R46 - "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" S1E08 - "Switching Places" Review (11-27-2020)
(Originally recorded May 19, 2018)
Once again, my buddy Seamus Pautz (@celtickraut75 on Twitter) and I are back with another humorous breakdown of a particularly ridiculous episode of "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers!" This time, we talk about how Billy once again invents a nightmare fuel-inducing device that causes he and Kimberly to switch bodies, in an apparent homage to Freaky Friday. We examine all the crazy, Freudian implications of a teenage boy and girl literally switching brains/bodies, as well as the various hijinks which ensue.

R45 - "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers" S01E07 "Big Sisters" Review *EXPLICIT* (11-19-2020)
(Originally recorded May 19, 2018)
Almost 2 years ago, my buddy Seamus Pautz (@celtickraut75 on Twitter) and I did another humorous breakdown of a particularly ridiculous episode of "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers!" We have a great time breaking down and analyzing "Big Sisters" from Season 1 Episode 7. What is the real story behind this young girl who Kimberly and Trini are tasked with watching? Plus we unpack the insanity that is the RADBUG and how Billy is apparently a Tony Stark-level inventive genius.
