This was a really fun episode with one of my favourite content creators in the fitness coaching space - Andrew Coates!


Andrew is a wealth of knowledge who has written for well known fitness publications like Mens Health, Muscle and Fitness, T-Nation and the PTDC while also maintaining a successful 13 year career as a face to face and online coach.


We chatted all things coaching credibility, social media and the issue with everyone's obsession with optimising every facet of their entire lives. This was all alongside a deep dive into the Art of Coaching and how actually getting results looks for an individual.

Today Jack welcomes Jeremiah Bair onto the podcast for a bumper 1 hour deep dive into fat loss and the importance of setting yourself up for success by potentially stepping AWAY from a calorie deficit for a period of time. 

Jeremiah is a brilliant coach who lives over in the States and is someone who I personally feel I resonate with well in regards to his coaching style, content and overall message around body transformations. Him and his team achieve incredible results physically but also look after their client's mental wellbeing and prefer to take a long term approach to body composition improvements over the short term, crash dieting led approach that has taken over the fitness industry the last decade or so. 

This was an awesome conversation packed with a tonne of value as we dissect how best to set yourself up for success when trying to lose fat in the long term, while also exploring programming considerations in fat loss phases and of course, how to best make use of your time spent OUT of a deficit.

Hello!

FINALLY, after 2 years of procrastinating, I've finally decided to start a podcast. 

For episode 1, I figure why not turn the direction over to you on Instagram and ask you for some questions you'd like to know about myself and my journey to where we are today. We cover my journey into becoming a Personal Trainer, what I was doing beforehand, why I'm here doing what I do today and of course, my World Cup 2022 predictions. 

New episodes weekly where I'll be diving into topics surrounding fitness, mindset and coaching along with interviewing people I think will bring interesting conversations along with new and thought provoking perspectives.
