Here are my thoughts on the NFL's 2024 Free Agency period that has just begun. A LOT has happened and I unpack the details of major deals while discussing the limited time NFL Running backs have in the league. This is a major concept that had to be explained and I refer to my previous episode recorded about the NFL Running backs needing to get paid more for their limited time in action. What an inspirational message sent by Austin Leake who is the Director of Player Personnel at Army Football. He discussed some of the sacrifices he made to becoming a college coach which was his dream. He joined Mark Twain High School before joining Henderson State University (Division 2 football program) as a Tight Ends coach. Now he's living the dream while directing at Army Football! I was very confused as to what happened last week in College Football but it's setting up to be an incredible ending where some teams will walk away as winners and others as unfortunate losers. Ladies and Gentleman, LISTEN UP. I think the #1 Ranked Georgia Bulldogs will lose to the Florida Gators this weekend. I provide reasoning behind my claims and I think Georgia's strength of schedule thus far has been as easy as can be. They've had one tough game against Auburn on the road and they barely snuck out of winning 27-20 on the road. Florida has beaten #11 ranked Tennessee which shows the ability of this Florida team to face adversity when they may not have the team to compete with the Alabama's or Ohio State's of college football. Well, we are back! I am super excited to share my interview with Morice Norris of the Fresno State Bulldogs! Norris talks about the importance of brotherhood on a team and the significance of his coaches and his friends on the team. He mentions that Fresno State is a brotherhood and everyone cares about each other. If you want to talk about an incredible story, Norris came from being recruited as a high school senior to going to JUCO College to play basketball and football. He then applied to Fresno State and was called in by the coach to ask about his commitment to the program. He accepted his offer and told the coach, that he would be better than anyone else that he was recruiting. Morice has totally brought this mindset to the football team and I look forward to seeing how the Bulldogs do the rest of the way. Rooting for him and go Dogs as they are 4-0 and 24th in the nation!

This is unbelievable. These running backs should be getting paid a lot more than they are. I think all of the running backs in the NFL are being underpaid and under-valued from a financial standpoint. This is my take on JacksonSherSportsRadio and tune into this episode! This was an eye-opening interview aside from solely sports. After this episode, I ask myself if I should start a new series on bringing motivational speakers onto my podcast. This was an episode to remember despite not being about a star athlete. Gee works at the Seattle Seahawks on gamedays, is a radio host on the weekdays, and is an emcee/public speaker on the weekends. He is also an auctioneer and someone who, during this episode, opened my eyes to a whole other side of the world aside from sports. Are NFL runningbacks getting paid enough money? There's been as longing debate about whether or not the running backs of the NFL are getting paid enough. I think they should be paid a lot more money than they are currently, but I'll leave this question open for debate. Enjoy this episode, and enjoy listening to my opinion on this topic!

What an incredible eye-opening interview with the one and only Chris Duhon. Chris was a former NBA player, McDonald's All-American, ACC Freshman of the Year, and a National Champion in 2001. Chris has had a bunch of incredible lifelong experiences under people like Coach K and playing with guys like Kobe Bryant. In this unbelievable episode, Chris will open your eyes to the dedication it takes to become a sports athlete. He also mentions that keeping positive people around you and having your priorities straight will set you up for success in life! This episode on JacksonSherSportsRadio was where, Ben Opper, Julian Joseph, Mete Ehliz, Brandon Elbilia, and Grant Furman talked about the NBA playoffs in 2023. I know it's been a while but what an amazing interview with Ansley Almonor from FaIrleigh Dickinson University. Ansley is a member of the FaIrleigh Dickinson basketball team which was the second team in NCAA history to knock off a 1 seed! The first time this happened was in 2018 with UMBC (16) knocking off UVA (1). As I said on the show I was in Europe and I woke up at 1 am to see the final minutes of the Purdue game so, of course, I had to get a FaIrleigh Dickinson player on the show to describe this experience. Ansley talks about his experience as a basketball player and how his team was able to shut down Zach Edey (Purdue Center) who is 7 feet 4 inches. Purdue shot a poor percentage from the field and this allowed FaIrleigh Dickinson to capitalize along with win the game. Wow. What an amazing interview with Green Bay Packers wideout Juwann Winfree. He joined me on the show and talked about his connection with Aaron Rodgers along with the work necessary to be an NFL Player. He communicated a very inspiring message about hard work. I'm blessed to be joined by UNC Men's lacrosse athlete Alex Breschi! Alex is a Senior at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and he plays Defensive midfielder. Alex is 5’11, 190 lbs which is a perfect frame for lacrosse. Alex attended Loyola Blakefield High School in Towson, Md. where he played for Ben Rubeor and Gene Ubriaco. Alex talked about the character that builds people and how your off-field life is just as important as your on-the-field life. For example, you want to have a good attitude and be known as a nice guy and not someone who is very well-rounded. I thought this was a very touching part of the interview and it taught me to strive to be better in life! Anyways enough of me and on we go to the interview!

Kobe was offered to schools like North Texas, Eastern Kentucky, Gardner-Webb, and many more but he chose Kansas State. We talked about how betting has blown up and his time in Las Vegas! He's even had dinner next to Travis Kelce! His role in his job is to sell seats, suits, and boxes to the highest gamblers in the world! These large wagerers have seated in Premium seating thanks to DraftKings so that they can watch the game live while having money on it! The often misconception about Sports Gambling is that it's forced upon people but Dillon made it very clear that he has never forced anyone to gamble. The people that come to him looking to gamble on Sports are the ones that Dillon ends up working with. Dillon is all about understanding the business options that come along with Sports Betting. A key point that I take away from this podcast episode is the fact that many people in the world see Sports gambling as a way of only losing money when in fact it's also business. Dillon and I talk about the business side of things in Spots Betting and how the world has transformed as a result of it. Jack is 6’3, 235 lbs which is a huge frame compared to his opponents! Jack is very talented and many schools have recognized that. He’s gotten many offers such as Yale, Rice, Lehigh, Harvard, UPENN! We also talked about his experience in winning the State Championship as well as being the best high school football team in the state of New Jersey! Go check out this! 

I'm so glad to have been joined by Kodi Decambra who is the 4th best safety in the state of Nevada. He is a 6'0 and 183 lbs Senior and he attends the third best high school football team in the nation (Bishop Gorman high school). For reference, they're 4th in the nation which is two spots higher than IMG Academy. Kodi is a very talented safety and he looks up to players like Charles Woodson and Earl Thomas due to their ball-hawking skills and drives. Kodi has made some incredible plays this season and it's not over just yet as he has a nationally-ranked game vs Chaminade-Madonna (5th best team in the country) on the 17th of December at 1 pm. Kodi has committed to playing football for the next four years of his life at Oregon University! Anyways, enough of me and more of Kodi. This was a great interview with star defensive tackle Anthony Morales who joined me on JacksonSherSportsRadio to talk about hard work and success! His team (Bergen Catholic) faced a ton of adversity when they lost to Don Bosco Prep in September but they made a turnaround mid-season and managed to pull off the state title against Don Bosco. For those of you who don't already know Bergen Catholic defeated Don Bosco Prep 45-0 in the Non-Public Group A state tournament. This was a very exciting win for Bergen Catholic. Anthony also talks about attending football camps and getting a high five from Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney! Anyways enough of me and enjoy this podcast episode. More to come!  

Here's an amazing interview with America's 24th-best running back in the country and the #8 best recruit in the state of Pennsylvania in the Class of 2023, London Montgomery. London is a great running back for Scranton Prep High school and during his junior season, he ran for 2200+ yards and 35 rushing touchdowns. Unfortunately, London faced a setback in August when he suffered a torn ACL injury putting him out for his Senior season! London is getting great care from Penn State University and he should be ready to play next season! Some say he could be looked at as the new Saquon Barkley! Anyways, enough of me, it's time to get to the interview with 4 ⭐️ Star recruit London Montgomery!

Well it's that time of year again! Michigan vs Ohio State tomorrow and a lot of important games through the next 2 weeks! On this episode though I predict how the Alabama Crimson Tide will have a road to the College Football Playoffs. Go check this out as it's quite possible. This could very well happen and I don't think we are talking enough about it. 

Where do I start? This was simply one of the best interviews I've ever hosted on JacksonSherSportsRadio with Johnny Hodges who is the leading tackler on the #4 TCU Horned Frogs! Johnny is a linebacker that is 6 foot 2 inches and is 240 lbs! Johnny has one of the best stories that I've heard on JacksonSherSportsRadio! He is an inspiration to all high school football players and shows the grit and grind that every football player aspire to have. Johnny leads the team with 55 total tackles this season and 1.5 sacks! Enough of me, take a listen to this star of a linebacker, Johnny Hodges!  

This was an outstanding interview with the #1 Tulane Green Wave running back Tyjae Spears. Tulane this season is 7-1 and ranked 23rd in the nation! Tyjae this season has 10 total touchdown with 791 yards from scrimmage (receiving and rushing combined)! Tyjae is super talented and he wasn't recruited out of high school. His high school coach landed him an offer at Tulane because he didn't have any offers at the time. Tulane has been amazing for Tyjae and he talks a lot about mental as well as physical toughness! This aspect of football whether it be on or off the field is a major part of the game! I don't want to spoil the interview and I could write for hours about this, so I'll save the rest for you all to listen to! Enjoy this outstanding interview and more content soon to come!

This was an amazing interview with my first UNC Women's basketball player, Anya Poole. She averaged 7.5 PTS, 6.5 REBS, and shot 57.2% from the field. She can play the game of basketball on both ends. She takes me through her everyday life throughout the season and when she's in the offseason. She's also good friends with players such as Leaky Black, Caleb Love, Armando Bacot, and more. She also talks to me about the convenience of living near home, and the benefits of being so close to home. Also, Anya describes how everything in the state of North Carolina is close such as her house, other universities, and her friends! I truly don't know where to even start with Quinton. This interview taught me a lot of lessons about Division 1 sports, but also about life! Being a student athlete takes a lot of commitment but if you are willing to put in the work then you are the perfect candidate for that scholarship spot! Quinton is a Sophomore now at Wake but was recognized coming out of high school as a 3 star recruit! Quinton is playing in very high competition as the Wake Forest Demon Deacons are ranked 15th in the nation! We talked about his role as a Running Back at Wake, and how being humble as well as staying composed is a major part of the game of football! This interview is with Ellie Bichelmeyer who is a volleyball player at Rice University. Ellie is 6 foot 2 inches and she started volleyball not expecting to get an offer from Rice University. Her parents saw that she got an offer to Rice and told her that she was going there. At the time Ellie didn't even know what Rice University was, but she visited it at her parents request, and she fell in love. This was an amazing interview Ellie and definitely one of my best yet!
