5. Frozen Baby Food, a Donut, Some Breathe Tea, and a Whole Lot of Cover-ups.
The podcast has been recorded, this one anyway... others haven't yet, but some have. Pete started reading The Moon is a Harsh Mistress and gives a rundown on the first few chapters with all the blackface and chauvinism. It does have a bunch of stuff about revolution, so that's cool. Robert Heinlein wrote Starship Troopers. Kids shouldn't work. They also shouldn't be victims of gun violence. We speculate on who we think will win Succession even though we've only seen the first 2 seasons. Tupac may have shot himself in the wiener.

Pete and Mj talk about the Tetris Movie and that we were excited about it. We were let down. The Second Letter to High Intensity YoYo Magic Marketing at Youths - Episode 6
Pete and Mj rocking that mic again to bring you another fantastic episode of the Second Letter Podcast. Have you ever pondered the value of silly? How about meditated, have you meditated about the value of silly? Well, Pete and Mj did it so you don't have to. Every year there's a three week period where every kid is obsessed with yoyos and jump ropes because the school made the watch an assembly of cool teenagers jumping rope and yoing yo. Think back on your youth, the yoyo you'd use usually ushered by young yammering yelps of yearning, y'member? Well, those yoyo and fundraiser assemblies were usually a big old marketing gimmick aimed right at the captive audience sitting criss cross apple sauce in an elementary school lunchroom. Pete has some thought about marketing to kids. Don’t forget about pop culture! Listening to this episode will have you knowing just what Pete and Mj were watching back in July… It was probably Stranger Things, but it definitely wasn't Denver the Last Dinosaur.

People in their thirties like to complain about aging, so we figured that if you can't beat em, join em. Here's some enby fashion and coming out talk where Pete discusses those unrealized feelings that go along with finding self expression. Trans people are beautiful like those works of art that you look at from different directions to make it look different. Fashion isn't just for silly runway clothes, it's a way to express yourself through the clothes you wear. Exploring who you are and accepting what you find will get you a lot further in life than being overly critical of yourself, so don't deprecate that wonderful self you got there. The texture of mid-thirties is course.
Sometimes a whole hole shows up and you gotta get some rope burns to rescue the one you love. Unconditional love looks a lot like… just being there for the person, even when it's scary. Transitioning can be a frightening an isolating deal, but it doesn't have to be.
Josh Groban is a bit silly, when you wouldn't think so but he'll raise you up. He's a silly silly soul. Pete writes a song for Joshua Saben Groben, the silly silly soul. Dogs can be silly when they sleep with they saggy baggy skin. How cool would it be to be able to blob a bit like Rita from the silly silly show Doom Patrol. George Carlin's words aren't all that silly… at least if you say them in the wrong place. Those popular punks, Blink 182, said them in the right way in a song once. Back pain is bad, but nowhere near the torture of a hang nail and even worse if it turns into an ingrown nail or a feather like on Black Swan. You ever dug an ingrown toenail out? It sucks.. Go have a doctor dig em out, but don't go motorcycling in the mountains on a dirt bike the day after.
We finally got around to watching Dr. Strange and Pete decides to list things that Bruce Campbell has done like creating the cheesy 80s, Brisco County Jr, or introduce people to his boom stick. Gimme some sugar baby. We thought it was weird when Scarlet Witch turned into Mufasa in the clouds and told us about our birth rites.
Pete makes MJ watch a pigeon movie. It’s French and it's epic. Pigeons have a lot of class because they are from New York where culture is made.Hikes are all like, "let's walk," and Pete is like, "Okay! Let's fucking walk!" Change is great and essential to life. For instance, we used to eat steak on special occasion and now we eat a fish. Pete would rather have a big hologram in the sky like Blade Runner than deal with Water World where Kevin Costner has to drink his own web-footed pee.

The Second Letter of Father's Day: Where Have All The Daddies Gone? - Episode 4
We recorded this one on Father's Day and enjoyed every second of it. You seen The Boys yet? Wooo! That show is intense. The Time Traveler's Wife gets intense at times too, but its sooo good. Also, time travel is so cool. Remember when Volcano and Dante's Peak Came out at the same time? Rachael McAddams did the same with time travel movies. Steve Urkel and the gang taught us how to love our bodies but SNICK was full of AAAAhhhh Real Monsters. The Carmen Sandiego formula is pretty fun and informative. There's a part of this whole thing where we talk about gangs and stuff. Stop by and try a cup of coffee with us and maybe a bowl... who knows, maybe we'll even wash it for you first. You don't always have the libido to go where you want to, so talk to your doc, it could be the drugs.
