Welcome to the first episode in Breakfast Conversations first miniseries!

The COVID 19 virus has forced many cities to gear down and schools are suspended but the learning has to continue! What happens when a city with 7.4 million people close all its schools and online learning replaces the classroom?

That is what we are going to explore together in this miniseries about teaching and learning in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 during the COVID 19 epidemic.

The first teacher on our journey is Tim Evans a Expat who moved to the beautiful city of Hong Kong two and a half year ago.

TIM EVANS:

Tim Evans is the Educational Technology Coordinator at Stamford American School in HK.

Born and raised in rural Wales, UK. Tim now find himself as the Educational Technology Coordinator at Stamford American School Hong Kong.

Before making the move to Asia, Tim has had experience in school in his hometown in Wales and also 6 years at an IB school in Spain. Tim has a real passion for connecting, collaborating and working with educators from all over the world. Hr also bring this passion into the classroom, always looking for opportunities to connect his students with their peers around the globe. An avid tech enthusiast yes, but Tim also understand the power of technology as a tool to support learning, and not as a tool used with no true learning outcome identified.
