Episode 132 - Alejandro and Cesar Acuna of Malacc
Episode 132, I talk with the brothers, Alejandro and Cesar Acuna of the band, Malacc. We talk about the past band of theirs and how they first picked up instruments and learned to play music, then put a band together and go start to play shows live. We then get into what type of music the brothers got into and what did they eventually like as far as metal music. I then ask how the guys record each other and send files out to each other to record and make their music. I learn what the name of Malacc means and where it came from and then we get into shows from the past and how much fun that was before work and children and everything comes into place. we talk about the side stuff that each of the Acuna brothers both do themselves. Episode 124 - Special Halloween Episode with Ryan Christopher
Episode 124, my 5th and last of the Halloween Special episodes for this year, but for this month, I talk with Haunted Kid, Ryan Chistopher. He does reviews of Haunted Houses and attractions all around the world! He and I chat about how he got started with Haunted Kid and how he came up with this idea in the first place. I find out that it's more than just him doing the reviews when he goes to these Haunts and plans on going to more of them out West to do some reviews. Episode 123, my 4th Halloween Special episode for this month and I chat with Makeup Artist and Wig Applicator at the Arizona Opera, Mrs. Jilian Rose! I start off asking Jilian how she got into doing makeup and how she started at a Haunted House at first. I followed that with what type of training, if any, did she do to teach her. I then asked about if she remembers her first couple designs and how she cringes when she looks back at the first ones. I then ask about influences for her doing makeup and then ask about the special effect stuff she has done and the difference it is than the makeup. We also get into the equipment she uses to do her work and get into a dream customer or something that Jilian would love to do. Episode 117, I give my story, to the best of my ability, of my time of being in the U.S. Army. I tell you how it came from High School Graduation, till the time I signed my name on that line and was picked-up from my house to be on my way to Ft. Leonard Wood, MO for basic training and then AIT. From there, I then go to my duty station at Ft. Belvoir, VA and did my time there. I then tell you about my time after the Army and what I did and shared some stories of what happened during it all and more!!!

Episode 116, I go and meet up with Rick Glatz and do a face-to-face interview recording at the Old Plank Trail Bar in Frankfort, IL so that I could get the story about Soundlab rehearsal studios in Mokena, IL.
Rick filled me in on how he opened up Soundlab, why he did it, why he chose Mokena, when it opened up, how many people he had there working for him, when did bands start doing shows there, he told me about the many changes that Soundlab took so that he could have shows there and more people could fit there, some of the bands that he remembers playing shows there, and more!!!

I ask what Dave did before roasting and becoming the owner of Smugglers Coffee. I then ask about what is harder, the roasting or the business side of Smugglers Coffee. I find out about the group of people working for Smugglers and the first coffee that they came up with. I find out the difference between the different coffee's they sell there. I then find out how they get the coffee sold from the business and the different states Dave has done conventions and markets at. Episode 109, I chat with the guys from a 4-piece, Death Metal band from CA called Vacuous! We get into the name of course and where that came from. As well as how the band formed and how the guys all know each other. I ask them what got them into being musicians first and then what influences they had as musicians to play music and start a band. I ask about the local CA music scene out there and what bands they have got to do shows with so far. I then ask about any favorite local venue they enjoy playing at as well as any hobbies they guys may have other than being musicians. Episode 103, I got hit up by a mutual friend who brought up Jeff's name for the Podcast so here it is! I ask Jeff about being both a barber and an artist. Born in the Philippines and then coming to America, was just the start of Dodie's journey in his life. He knew he had this art skill from the age of 9, while drawing on the floor and honing his skill all the way through Junior High and then High School. He was about to enlist into the U.S. Military when fate happened and his Teachers and Guidance Counselor stepped into the way from making a huge mistake! I find out what type of art Dodie first started with and what else he would go on to learn. Finally, being picked up for an art job and then eventually breaking away from that to do his own thing.
