Fiona is the owner and founder of Choose Healthy, an online health and wellness business, teaching women how to change their relationship with food and get their energy back by letting go of restrictive and fad diets.

As we reach each new decade, the foods we eat and exercise don’t seem to work anymore and often this is where the confusion, frustration and energy rollercoaster starts for women.

She loves helping women work out what foods and exercise work for them right now and how to make food easy.

Fiona has been in the health, wellness and fitness space for over 27 years, so she’s either seen it or done it when it comes to food and exercise! She is a certified group fitness and Pilates instructor and has health coach certifications from IIN and Wellness Australia.

She runs regular food workshops and mini-retreats and offers 1:1 and group coaching programs.

About Chad:

Chad Waelchli is the Head Performance Coach and Fitness Director at Anytime Fitness.  Chad has been a sports performance coach, human performance coach, and exercise physiologist for over 14 years.  Chad has owned his own sports performance and personal training business for 10 years and has been a Professor of Exercise Science (Biomechanics, Nutrition, and Strength Training) at DeSales University and Northampton Community College. Chad was the Sports Performance Director at Velocity Sports Performance and has trained athletes and clients of all ages and abilities including NFL combine athletes, USA Olympic Cyclists, minor league baseball players, collegiate athletes, high school athletes, youth athletes, MMA fighters, personal training clients, and group fitness classes.

Chad is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified SPARQ trainer (Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction, and Quickness). He received his Masters Degree in Exercise Science and his Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania . While at ESU, Chad served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Wilkes University and Lehigh University and was a Graduate Assistant in the Intramural and Recreation Department at ESU.

Along with specialized and functional training, Chad annually presents research and lectures at NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) conferences at the national, regional and local level, and has been doing so for over 10 years.  Formerly, Chad was the Exercise Specialist and Consultant for Kwik Goal, the world wide leader in Soccer Apparel and Equipment.

Diana's Bio

As the first-born daughter of two Filipino immigrants, I grew up with the values of hard work and perseverance instilled within me. I was well on my way to making my parents proud of my achievements. By the age of 33, I had not only advised Fortune 500 companies on billion-dollar deals but also cooked a Michelin-starred meal for former US President Obama.  In 2017, my life looked like a dream from the outside. But on the inside, I was stuck in a burnout nightmare, with chronic illness from head to toe. My health got so bad that I was forced to give up the chef life - and the restaurant dreams I shared with my husband Brian. I was in so much pain that I couldn't deny it anymore. Something had to change. As a 9/11 survivor, I am no stranger to overcoming a nightmare crisis. Deep down, I knew that even if it seemed impossible in the moment, there had to be a way to bounce back even stronger. I dreamed of a spectacular breakthrough, turning my life around and overcoming every barrier that held me back until then. I saw myself coming back even stronger: starting my own business, moving to Hawaii, breaking out of my introverted shell, ending my body image struggles. I was ready to break free from my past and rebuild my future!

Jill & Aaron Bios

Jill Satterlee has a gift and passion for cooking that transformed into meal prepping. She comes from a family of restaurateurs, and has been involved in food service since she was a girl living in Toms River, NJ. Before starting Cooking Around Town she taught Principles of Healthy Living at Mount Juliet Middle School where her love for cooking was shared with hundreds of students during her time as a teacher. Jill and her husband Aaron decided to venture out and create Cooking Around Town in 2016. A bedroom in their house was converted into a commercial kitchen and the business took off from there. After about a year it became clear that a bigger and better location was needed. We found our current space and things could not have worked out better. Aaron left his position as a boat salesman to join Jill full-time in the meal prep business. Aaron had zero experience in food service and relied on Jill to teach him everything. We love being a team in this business, and we feel it gives us an advantage over our competition and makes our business unique. We are on the same page with the same goals, and this has helped the business to grow and establish itself as the premier meal prep business in Mount Juliet. I'm a self taught cook and baker; I started with an apple pie when I was 8 and never looked back. My mom and dad were my guinea pigs; I was oblivious to their sideward glances when I presented dinner every night. My mom worked full time, and it was torture to watch her try to put dinner on the table at 6 every night... precisely. Because for some reason it had to be 6.... precisely... some kind of dad-rule. I was home from school by 4:30 and so it was easier for me to make dinner, not to mention the bonus of not having to clean up if you were the cook. Mom thought it was a better deal for her, so I became head chef. Fast forward a few decades....and lots of eating and cooking. After years of retail and restaurant management I thought I'd give that restaurant thing a try, "how hard could it be?" and Juniper Cafe & Bistro was born in Edmonton, a perfect training ground for the world of large scale cooking and baking. Great practice for a personal chef in training. In the summer of 2019 I moved to Kamloops and scaled back; now I cook and bake for individual clients, using the lessons I've learned along the way.

Jason Cronan achieved a Masters degree in Exercise Science from East Stroudsburg University of PA. He owned and operated a wellness center in East Stroudsburg, PA called Four Corners Health & Fitness for 9.5 years. In the last 18 years he has personal coached over 1000 clients. He specializes in kid fitness, general fitness, weight loss, special needs adapted fitness, sport training, nutrition coaching, self-defense and kickboxing.  He is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a certified Exercise Physiologist, certificated as a Nutrition Specialist and certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Chad Waelchli is the Head Performance Coach and Fitness Director at Anytime Fitness.  Chad has been a sports performance coach, human performance coach, and exercise physiologist for over 14 years.  Chad has owned his own sports performance and personal training business for 10 years and has been a Professor of Exercise Science (Biomechanics, Nutrition, and Strength Training) at DeSales University and Northampton Community College. While at ESU, Chad served as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Wilkes University and Lehigh University and was a Graduate Assistant in the Intramural and Recreation Department at ESU.

Along with specialized and functional training, Chad annually presents research and lectures at NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association) and ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) conferences at the national, regional and local level, and has been doing so for over 10 years.  Formerly, Chad was the Exercise Specialist and Consultant for Kwik Goal, the world wide leader in Soccer Apparel and Equipment.

Chad played collegiate baseball at North Carolina Wesleyan College and East Stroudsburg University. Chad was an all area and all state catcher who had professional workouts with the Florida Marlins and Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and was scouted by the Colorado Rockies. Chad turned down a free agent deal with the Philadelphia Phillies to focus on his graduate school and thesis research. He is currently working part time as a professional model for fitness, acting, and men’s casual wear as well as training and competing in mixed martial arts. Bio:

I’ve always been a big fan of human movement. Prior to PT school, I founded a CrossFit club at UMD and obtained my Level 1 CrossFit and personal training certifications. My initial inspiration was to open a gym after I graduated, but my parents asked me to attend a grad school, since they paid for my undergraduate education. To honor them and their sacrifices, I agreed—luckily for me, I found physical therapy. I didn’t realize it existed and I fell in love with it immediately. I worked in the field for many years, both at a skilled nursing facility and in an outpatient setting, and overtime, I realized our healthcare system is far from optimal.  We favor reactive healthcare, which is repeatedly proven to be the worst choice of medicine. So, I started a company, Love to Move, to help spread awareness about proactive physical wellness and its importance to our livelihood. My hope isn’t just to get people moving, but to change company culture in Corporate America. Office workers are our prime demographic, especially those working from home. We help companies establish a better understanding of their employees’ physical wellness needs and how to adjust their environment and movement habits to improve the health, wellness, and productivity of their workers. Dr. LaShaunda Poindexter Massey is a clinical psychologist. She has been licensed as a psychologist for 20 years and has maintained a private practice for 15 years. Dr. Massey provides clinical services to children, adults, and families; and her work specializes in depression/anxiety disorders, trauma, childhood clinical issues, and abuse/neglect. In 2016, Dr. Massey expanded her work to include providing educational services relative to mental health throughout Memphis for agencies such as Southwest Community College, Memphis City Government, Shelby County Government, the Shelby County School System, and Girls Inc of Memphis. Dr. Massey is a native Memphian. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She graduated with honors from DePaul University in Chicago with a Master of Arts and with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Psychology. Dr. Massey is an alum of Leadership Memphis, Executive Program 2016 and a member of the Junior League of Memphis. She serves on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midsouth and Special Olympics of Greater Memphis. She is a wife and mother of two sons whom she homeschools. Her motto is “Cogito Ergo Sum,” a Latin phrase meaning “I think, therefore I am.” Dr. Massey believes thoughts are the catalyst for feelings and actions, thus mastery of the mind is key to success.

Kim's Bio

Kim is the owner of Journey's Day Spa located in Pocono Pines Pennsylvania. She began her journey in 2007 learning massage from a local chiropractor. She began working for resort spa's, but needed more hours of education due to Pennsylvania state requiring licensing starting in 2010. She graduated with her associates degree Summa cumme laude from McCann School of business and technology July 2010.

After the birth of her oldest daughter, Kim began working for a small spa called Escapes Day Spa. She loved the small, intimate atmosphere the spa offered. Two years after she began working for that company, she was offered the opportunity to take it over. She worked, non-stop, for six months earning extra money and staying up late building a website and learning more of the ins-and-outs of business than ever before. With help from her mother, her husband, the previous owner, and her in-laws, she was able to make it through. On December 3rd, 2014,  Kim opened the doors to Journey's Day Spa LLC.

Since that time she has worked hard to make her spa feels like a home away from home. With an amazing staff, they work more like family than coworkers. They all work hard to make every client feel like they're at home. They all pride quality over quantity, taking their time to make sure every client that comes in gets the best care they can get.

Monica's Bio

Monica Thomas was born in the District of Columbia Maryland. She shares an interesting heritage story of her parents, one a sweet farm girl from West Tennessee and the other, a NFL Washington Redskins Defensive Line player. In 1984, Monica’s parents decided to move back to Tennessee due to a profitable coaching career at Tennessee state University for her father. In 1996 Monica completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Tennessee State University with the intentions of becoming a Dentist. While in College she met her husband now of 23 years Ashley Thomas. Monica married her college sweetheart on December 21st , 1997. In 2001, Monica heard the call to change her path from Dentistry to becoming a full time stay at home Mom. It was during the years of homeschooling her two children Ari and Lauren that life gifted her the chance to walk into purpose. Brian Pedone's Bio: 

I started boxing at the age of 13 and fell in love with the sport. Had played other sports before it, but nothing compared to the thrill of competing against someone else one on one. My father used to drive me to different boxing gyms and I hopped around with him to so many different places. It was a great time to bond and learn what it meant to grow up.

I attended East Stroudsburg University and started a boxing club. It was then what I learned what it meant to be a teacher. I fell in love with training others especially kids who didn’t necessarily get a fair chance. I then ran my own boxing gym for 10 years in PA. After that I went on to become the head boxing trainer for an MMA professional who went on to compete at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Fights event.

I then moved into NYC where I become a boxing trainer and then ultimately started my own boxing gym there as well. Again catering to kids. I began the development of a product called Quiet Punch, a home boxing solution. I am now working for myself full time at Quiet Punch, have brought on 7 investors, and have been rapidly growing the business. We now sell on average close to 1,000 units a month and have a growing online user base.

My true passion is helping others along the lines of fitness and staying sharp and being happy.
