EP 23- Top 6-6-6 of 2020
While most other music publications and blogs put their top albums list out way early, we here at The Alehorn know December can have many good albums come out that deserve to be in contention for top album lists so that's why we made ours the last episode of the year! In our 6-6-6 format Micah, Patrick and myself list 6 albums we each think were worthy contenders to the throne! Be sure to check out The Alehorn Spotify playlist featuring all but 1 band we picked to really appreciate the diversity in all these picks! Have a awesome new year everyone and may 2021 bring back live music!

Ep 22 -Bon or Brian?! Why not both!
Everyone likes a good argument whether its religion, politics, or Rock and Roll! We got together just after the release of AC/DC's new album  Pwr Up and did a little whos better type of discussion. Ended up a tie but it was still fun to dive back in to the history of the band and compare and contrast each singers styles. Enjoy! We recorded this back closer to the release of Power UP but encountered a technical issue with Micah's track, were not ignoring him the first 20 mins just had to splice some new lines in to make it work before posting this up. Thanks for understanding!

Ep 19-Motorhead retrospective
Hey everyone let me first apologize for the first 11 minutes of this episode, I had some static issues and had to switch gear to finish up so my track is a bit low in order to not bust eardrums during a few static spikes. Anyway, me and frequent guest Pat Whitaker discuss Motorhead's 40 year history with a broad brush and some happening's after the official end of the band. Of course there's some random straying off the path as is a staple of this show by now so enjoy some Motorhead talk cause they play rock and roll!!

Ep 18- Build a Band Workshop
In this episode returning guests Micah and Patrick join me in making 3 kickass bands out of deceased musicians. We also talk US festival names because why not. Disclosure: My mic gets crappier as the episode goes on, apologies upfront for it

EP-17 Johnny Throckmorton
Back in the early 2000's, a band from Richmond VA caught my attention with their outrageous name. That band's name was Alabama Thunderpussy (also featuring the legendary Erik Larsen from Avail fame on guitar). I met Johnny when my band Temptation's Wings played a show with his current band He Wolf in Richmond VA in the summer of 2019. I professed my love of that band to him that night and decided he was perfect for this podcast when I started it earlier this year.  We talk about all kinds of subjects including pre internet promoting, High on Fire, Waken, Richmond bands now and then, crooked contracts and so much more!

Were back from a small break and still talking music! Me and Patrick talked up some soundtracks to some movies tv and video games that we remembered from our youth, we didn't love each one we picked but the requirement for choosing them was nostalgia. Enjoy!!

Ep 11-Sebastian Baltes
Were cranking it up to 11 for this episode talking to the bassist for Howling Giant, Seabass. You may remember him from Ep 6 but this time we speak about growing up with a father who had some huge accomplishments as a touring musician as the bass player for Accept. Not many people can say their dad rocks and really mean it!

Ep 10-Skulthor Ebonblade Retrospective
In case you don't know I play drums in the band Temptation's Wings. I got the guys together to make an episode on our first album we made with Chad in the band on bass. Listen as we talk each track and what our overall thoughts of the album 3 years later are!

Ep 9-David Paul Seymour
Art is such an important part of music, this man's is among the best! I go back with David from being a fan to a client to an acquaintance of sorts. He took time out of his super busy schedule to tell me whats been going on with all his projects and we get a sneak peak of what it sounds like when somebody is in his yard without permission!
September 17, 2020
Episode 8- Joe Eldridge (Lord Shadebeast)
Shadebeast Records is every metal fan's dream come true, a vinyl shop for fans run by fans! But what makes Shadebeast stand out among other record stores? The merchandising! I talked to Joe about the short time he has been in this business and various other topics relating to metal music. We had a lot to say about it! Enjoy!

Ep 7 Ray Worth of Bask

Ep 6 Howling Giant
The band Howling Giant should need no introduction. This trio from Nashville has been around for a while now making that sweet sweet cosmic stoner rock like only they can. We also meet the new guy on keys Marshall who was yet to play a show as a full time member of the band yet.
