It's draft season.  Let's kick it off with an examination of what the Cowboys need and some of the top prospects they could use to fill it.

Dak Prescott is (or is going to be) fine.  He's a great quarterback.  He'll play great next year.  

I'll take you through the reason why and what the real biggest issue is that the Cowboys have to get figured out.  

There's a coaching change that I believe needs to happen and would make your wide receivers (Amari Cooper + CeeDee Lamb) way more explosive.  I'll explain in detail why.

Position by position let's talk about the Cowboys free agent decisions, draft and free agency needs and more.  

Dan Quinn's probably gone to Denver, Kellen Moore we'll see.  

The offensive line might need an overhaul.  

Randy Gregory and Dalton Schultz are big free agent decisions, they're losing all of their safeties, they're thing at other spots.  

They have decisions to make on Amari Cooper, Tank Lawrence and a few others.

The Cowboys 2021 season is over and we're here to do the autopsy. 

How good is Dak Prescott?  Should Mike McCarthy and Kellen Moore be safe?  Will Dan Quinn be back?  Let's get it all handled.

The Cowboys lost at home to the Cardinals and we need to talk about four ‘alarming’ aspects of it.   

Dak Prescott and his struggles, how many alarms is that fire?  

Trevon Diggs has now given up over 1000 yards this season.  

Kellen Moore and Dak aren’t getting CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper the ball enough.  

The penalties on the offensive line killed 3 straight drives for the offense.  How many alarms are those fires?  

A lot of people have a lot of theories about what is wrong with the Cowboys offense and the problem with almost every one of those theories is pretending it's A thing instead of MULTIPLE things.   

I'll take you step by step through EXACTLY what's wrong with Dak Prescott and the offense and the steps you have to take in order to get it right before the postseason begins.

Plus a mailbag including the future of Randy Gregory and Jayron Kearse.

Dak Prescott is in a funk.  The offensive line isn't playing great.  They're struggling to run the football.  The Cowboys offense has some things they've got to figure out.  Despite that, you should be happy win the win over Washington today and I'll tell you why.  Plus we get to enjoy Dan Quinn's defense at full strength with Micah Parsons, Tank Lawrence, Randy Gregory and the crew wreaking havoc.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy guaranteed a win on the road against Washington this week and I'm glad.  Dak Prescott co-signed it, as did Amari Cooper.  I'll tell you why I LOVE it.  Also the head coach (I think?) told us who will be playing RT against Washington this week and it's the right decision.

The Cowboys have been REALLY struggling on third downs the last three weeks.  

I'll give the numbers on how bad it's been plus the actual reason for it happening, and how to make it stop.  

Plus the Texans released LB Zach Cunningham and the Cowboys should put in a claim.  The reasons why I think are pretty obvious.  

And finally a Dak Prescott stat that is both wonderful and terrible at the same time.

Kurt Warner did a great film study of the Cowboys offense against the Saints to show us where Dak Prescott could improve or make changes in his game. I'd like to take that study and give you my conclusions about what's going on with this offense and the REAL secret to getting it back on track.  

The Cowboys offensive line has some culpability, Kellen Moore has some culpability, as do the receivers and of course the QB.  The answer is never simple, but we can make it easy to understand.

A double digit win on the road is a good thing.  We aren't going fire and brimstone about a W that takes you to 8-4 on the season BUT  Today I want to focus on things on the team you're concerned about.  Not a player having a bad game, but something I'm seeing consistently that I'm ACTUALLY somewhat concerned about.  And it pertains to the golden boy Kellen Moore and how they can't run the fooball and why.  I see a lot of people concerned about Dak Prescott too.  I'm not.  I'll tell you why.
