It's been a hot minute, Hoagie Mouth Nation...but we're back.  Jeff and Bob TACKLE all four major sports teams in Philadelphia this week.  We get into the nitty AND the Gritty with the Phillies, Sixers, Eagles and UGH THE DANG FLYERS.  In baseball, we are hurtling towards the All Star Break.  Will the Phils keep their grip on the Wild Card spot, with the hope that Harper comes back in the fall to take us to postseason victories?  The Sixers have brought some braun (PJ Tucker) into the mix, and now have reshaped their bench.  Heck, even Harden is cutting us a hometown deal.  The Eagles have most definitely gotten more exciting recently, and we are breathless with anticipation for the opening of training camp in a couple of weeks.  And the Flyers?  WELL you'd be best served to look the other way, missy.  Email:  hoagiemouthpod@gmail.com   Twitter:  @hoagiemouthpod

I know that, from the title, you may not know that this is a Philly sports podcast.  But soon you'll discover the truth!  Bob and Jeff dive headlong into the latest Philadelphia sports bummer, which is the Sixers being manhandled in the last 2 games of the ECSF by the Butler-led Miami Heat.  We know Joel was not at 100%, and that Danny Green suffered what hopefully isn't a career ending injury.  Add to that the lackluster production from Maxey, Harden and Harris, and you had the makings of a sad outcome.  We posit on what may happen in the offseason...Harris on the move?  A Beal mega-deal?  Gosh, who knows.  The Phillies are up next, with a mixture of excitement (Harper NL Player of the Week) and minor dread (mostly everything else about the team).  Hey, again, the Mets are free to win April and May.  We gotta get seriously better this summer.  Reach out and touch us:  Email:  hoagiemouthpod@gmail.com   Twitter:  @hoagiemouthpod
