MIDDLE CLASS IS THE NEW BOTTOM
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
We often hear the term "generational wealth," but rarely do we hear about "generational wisdom."
However, the validity of that wisdom can differ depending on the person's mindset passing down the information.
So what does that mean exactly? Well, let's take a residence passed down from generation to generation. Some generations may pass down a house to their children, while others may work to get on a lease to live in a family-shared tenement. While both may be great ways to start a life, two different mindsets may be required to maintain them.
So the question that arises is 👇🏾
📌 Does what we call wisdom depend on our mindsets?
📌 Do we transfer wealth before we transfer wisdom? Which is more important to obtain?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE generational habits, wealth transfers, & struggles of entrepreneurship.

Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
Have you ever struggled between doing what's right and doing what's in your best interest?
Of course, we'd hope they're the same, but when they aren't, it creates a divide in how we think, forcing us to choose one over the other.
So let me ask you...
📌 How do you cope with the everyday struggles of morality vs. what's best for your future?
📌 Is what's best for you the right thing to do, or do we base our decisions on the variables in front of us?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the difference between doing what's right and doing what's in our best interest, the struggles between mending failed relationships, & holding yourself accountable before holding others to the same standard.

BREAKTIME Feat. Corey LeGrand
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We Need Your Help UN•THERAPIZING something...
Have you ever felt the weight of producing something that felt unproductive in a season of your life?
It's great that people support your vision and love your creativity, but where do you draw inspiration from when it feels like nothing is going right?
Like Coach said, "Life be Life'n & while its Life'n it Lifes some more."
I found that to be so true & even take form while trying to produce content & be our best selves, but it's tough to be all that you can be while everything around you looks the opposite of your vision except for your vision itself.
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the behind the scenes of content creation, taking a break, producing through adversity, & showing up for yourself no matter what.

Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
Have you ever experienced an "emotional terror•ist"? I know the word "terror•ist" may seem a bit extreme on one hand, but on the other, there are people who seek to ruin the lives of others through their words & actions.
Now, some may believe they are doing what's in their best interest, but if they are the only ones "edified" after it's all said & done, how much "best" is really in that interest?
But in this day and age of "Tell Alls" & "My truth," who are we to judge...???

Hey UN•THERAPIST,
✨ WELCOME TO THE NEW YEAR! ✨
We usually need your help UN•THERAPIZING something, but given we made it to another year, let's do something different...
We want you to WRITE YOUR DREAMS!!!
I don't mean your dreams based on your budget & what you can afford; I mean your dreams based on all you want to see manifested in your life.
Now, once you are done writing your dreams, let's write down all the adjustments you need to make in your life for them to become a reality.
Some of these changes may be minor, but others may require some real pivots for us to become the person needed to fulfill them.
So in this first UN•THERAPY session of the New Year, before we UN•THERAPIZE anything …
💪🏾 Let's Dream!
💪🏾 Let's Write!

🎶 The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!! (Chef Shay voice) 🎶
We are in one of the greatest seasons of the year. It is a time when people are giving, and others are getting.
📌 Who is most important this season: the giver or the getter?
📌 Impulsively speaking, the giver would sound like the obvious answer, but who is the giver if no one decides to receive what is being offered?
📌 Does one trump the other, or are both needed to balance the ecosystem?

THE ROTTEN APPLE #RIPSteveJobs
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
While Rev. was sharing her story about wanting to switch from Apple to Android due to some complications, it brought a great question out of Coach...
📌 How long do you stay loyal to something you know is no longer serving your purpose?
Although this was a situation about a phone, this question holds true to many areas of life: relationships, friendships, religious beliefs/organizations, etc.
Our loyalty has genuinely kept us in things our spirit has told us we should no longer be a part of.
📌 But why is that?
📌 Is it because of fear of the unknown?
📌 The difficulty in starting over?
📌 The probability of it not working?
What truly makes us stay...?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY, as we UN•THERAPIZE the power of brand loyalty, having all of your eggs in one basket, the desire to change, & detaching yourself from what you once desired.

BUY A BATTERY Feat. Whatever Face Podcast
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
Rev. said something in a previous session that had Coach thinking for a bit...
📌 What she said made us think, "Do We Make Our Decisions Out Of Insecurity or Intuition?"
Although everyone's answers may have differed, it forces everyone to take some inventory of self first to see what some of those insecurities might be.
The good news is that it's never too late in the game to change; the news that isn't so good is that you've already made many decisions with that mindset & now you have to evict those thoughts before you can feed them new ones.
📌 So which one are you?
📌 Which of these govern your thoughts in life?
📌 Which has been responsible for your current level of execution?

Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
Growing up, I always heard that if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. However, when life happens, it will probably include some things you didn't plan for.
📌 So, how does one balance planning for the unknown?
I know that's a tricky question to digest sometimes, but it can hold true for every area of our lives.
There are even some things we prayed for that came with some things we didn't pray for, but that's because they were a package deal. Know what I mean?

YOU AIN'T GOT THE ANSWERS SHAY!
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
Deja Dej said something during our session. I don't want to misquote her, but it sounded like this in my head: "Choosing someone doesn't remove the feelings that existed prior to choosing them..."
Now, that hits a little differently because it makes you consider how much work we haven't been doing when moving on to a new situation or relationship.
It's never too late to change, but it also makes you consider whether we are genuinely being our authentic selves if we do have to change.

RODNEY FROM NORWEGIAN CRUISES
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
First, we want to give a round of applause to all the women who've got it down-packed in the dating world.
Congratulations, ladies, ya'll are killing the game. Now, as for the rest of us, SEND HELP.
Nobody I've ever spoken to knowingly goes swimming in a pool filled with (as my daughter would say Pee-Pee), yet, day in & day out, some of us find ourselves right back in the shallow end of a dating pool that seems to add more waste to it daily.
📌 Of course, many of us don't believe that we are the cause of it, but what if some of our mindsets & our actions were the reason?
📌 What if we could change the environment in which we swim by merely changing how we think and possibly how others feel about us?

🚨 COMMUNICATION 🚨
That's a big word that comes with great responsibility because how well you communicate genuinely depends on how effectively your listener receives the information you've shared.
Although you may be a great communicator, how someone responds to you often depends on what they feel they received from your communication.
📌 How do YOU rate our communication?
📌 Is it based on what we said or based on who receives it?
📌 What if we were clear and precise in what we've communicated, yet the people who were supposed to hear it don't have the capacity to receive it at the moment?
📌 Do you begin questioning yourself by your intentions or the responses given?

BLACK ICE
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something.
We were talking about the levels of expectancy regarding our friendships, and it got us wondering.
📌 How intentional were we when picking our friends?
I know every relationship that's been built depends on circumstance, environment, commonalities, etc...
📌 But have we chosen our tribes based on core values & principles?
📌 Or was it based on core experiences?
📌 Can we "really" unfriend a friend for being the friend they have always been vs. who we've wanted them to be in our lives?
📌 How intentional were you when picking your friends?
📌 Are "Day 1" friendships valued more than new friends?

LET THE INTERNET TELL IT
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
The ladies were talking to Coach & he asked us a pretty thought-provoking question. When he first asked it, I thought I had a definitive answer, but the more I thought about it, the more unsure I became. Lol
So the question he asked was:
"Is a man being the protector a social responsibility, or is it reserved for the people he's closest to?"
Now I know how Coach's mind works, so before you answer, note that whichever "school of thought" you choose may affect how women's roles are assessed.
📌 Regardless of your choice, can you imagine a world where men didn't defend women?
📌 Is the willingness of a man to defend a woman weakened by how we are treated by each other?
📌 Has our desire to accept or adapt to roles within this new era left us with the utmost vulnerability?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE black excellence, the changes in expectation of gender responsibilities, the transfer of generational mindsets, and the pros & cons of passing the torch.

IT'S PRONOUNCED AM-U-ZAY
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
For years, we may have thought that people don't love themselves based on some of the adjustments they've made over time. But after conversing with our fellow UN•THERAPISTS, it's safe to say that...
We may have gotten it wrong!!!
It seems that we may have unknowingly confused the idea of self-love with the process of adjusting to the self-loving journey.
📌 Although they may look the same, and sometimes these adjustments may appear too much to our uncontextualized eyes, what's too much without proper context?
📌 Are we truly qualified to say what's "too much" based on the image someone else has of themselves in their head?
📌 Or do we react impulsively, damaging the potential "process" someone may go through?

STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS
Hey UN•THERAPIST,

Imagine confiding in your "friend" about the people you date or are in a relationship with. You've shared the ebbs and flows of your most private & intimate interactions, heartbreaks, mistreatments, the good times, and the flaws of the relationships; you've been super vulnerable with your personal life.
One day you're scrolling down the 97 (IG), & BOOM, you see your "friend" with someone you've dated.
📌 How do you handle this? Does your "friend" owe you a conversation? 📌 If so, when does that conversation happen; before you start dating or only if it gets serious?
📌 But once they become an ex, does it matter whom they date, even if it is your friend?
📌 And if you don't want them to be together, is your friend truly not dating them out of principle or fear of losing a friendship?

YOU'RE KILLING ME SMALLS
Hey UN•THERAPISTs,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
After briefly discussing Russell & Ciara Wilson, a conversation sparked about evolution and how it relates to change, but not everyone agreed. Actually, the variety of thoughts that were externalized showed that not everyone in the world feels the same way about the subject, so that leaves us asking a few questions:
📌 Is it possible to evolve without changing?
📌 Can you successfully build something new without destroying something old?
📌 What does evolution look like without change?
📌 Do some of us seek maturity without growth?
📌 Should the way we present ourselves change as we take on new roles in life (ex., parent, spouse, etc.?)

ASSETS & LIABILITIES
Hey UN•THERAPIST,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
In this session, we discussed a scenario on the hit show "Ready To Love" (If you haven't seen it, check it out) where some participants had to bring someone to help them vet their dating decisions.
So the question came up of who we would bring, and while a couple of us said COACH, others had family and close friends that they knew would ask the perfect questions to remove some of the stress in selecting our desired partner.
This had us thinking though:
📌How much time have we wasted because we didn't ask the right questions?
📌Do these questions change when we change?
📌How UN•INTENTIONAL have we been in our pursuit of love?
📌Have we disqualified people based on our criteria, then become what we disqualified people for?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE intentionality in dating, asking the RIGHT questions to help find a potential partner, & assets vs. liabilities in relationships.

SILENCE CAN’T BE MISQUOTED
Hey UN•THERAPISTS,
We need help UN•THERAPIZING something…
We recorded this last month, and it wasn’t supposed to be an episode, but Coach said we should use this recording as a conversational piece. So, let’s get into it.
Coach asked his fellow UN•THERAPIST why women are so eager to respond or comment on things that say “Fellas Only,” Then one of our fellow UN•THERAPIST replied, “Women are opinionated, and we do like to get our point across…and want a reaction”.
📌 Women have been taught that their voice is their most powerful asset
But what if that wasn’t true?
📌 What if the ability to use our eyes and ears makes us stronger than ever imagined?
And because we refuse to use them, we keep going through some of the same things we should have recovered from.
So ladies, let me ask you this, although social media is a public platform...
📌 Do we find ourselves interjecting in things that don’t even concern us?
📌 Do we miss out on vital information and data men give because we want to be a part of the conversation?
📌 Could we learn more if we didn’t insert ourselves in areas where we should use our ears instead of our voices?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the usage of our voices, the power of silence, and switching the authenticity of how you feel based on the sensitivity and feelings of others.

📌 Are women being empowered at these "Women Empowerment" events, or has it become another money grab with a reason to get active with our homegirls?
📌 Does this empowerment that we seek help to increase our self-belief?

We need your help UN•THERAPIZING a few things:
We can always debate which Black Panther movie we love more. What needs to be more debatable is how many real-life talking points came up in Wakanda Forever.
Watching both Namor & Queen Mother (aka Auntie Angie) doing what they felt was necessary to protect their people & their legacy made me a little emotional. But it also helped to develop a bunch of hot topics.
Such as:
📌 Are our actions genuinely justified because our intentions were pure?

📌 Can we truly monopolize a natural resource produced by the Creator?
📌 How often do we make lifelong decisions based on unhealed trauma?

📌 Of course, these things may change over time, but what is the supreme governing party that holds both sides accountable?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE friendships prior to relationships, principles that govern relationships, & accountability factors.

THE CODE AIN'T THE CODE NO MORE
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...
📌 What's the deal with everything being announced on social media?
Some people even tell us that they won't be on social media for a while via the social media platforms that they claim they will not be on. 🤯 Now we know that some things are inevitable, and we look forward to updates on certain things via the internet but are some things not worth posting?
📌 What's the cutoff on when we should not post certain aspects of our lives on social media?
📌 Do we have any boundaries when it comes to what is acceptable or what's crossing the line?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE working from home, what's acceptable to post online, community content, & boundaries built by experiences.

WHO BAKES FOR THE BAKER
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
We need your help to UN•THERAPIZE a couple of things:
📌 What does healing mean to you?
📌 Do we heal ourselves or put ourselves in a position for healing?
There is no right or wrong answer, but our mindset behind these two perspectives may determine how we approach our personal restoration.
📌 So why not take the quickest route?
📌 Don't we want to become better husbands, wives, children, or humans?
So, while becoming better, what advice can you offer a world that seeks restoration?
📌 What is your recipe for healing?
📌 What techniques can you offer that may change the life of someone who needs assistance to improve them?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the definitions of healing and various techniques we have used toward our restoration and provide guidance to the next generation with methods toward healing.

LOW VIBRATION PLATES ONLY
Hey UN•THERAPHY Baes,
It's the most wonderful time of the... wait, wait, wait, not yet, ya'll!
We're skipping one of the best holidays of the year, and before we move on to the wreaths & the mistletoe, we need one of these "low vibration" plates!
Let's get right to it:
🍁 What does your Thanksgiving plate look like?
🍁 Are ya'll trying out new recipes, or are we only accepting tried & true favorites?
🍁 How about desserts? Are we doing cake or pie?
🍁 What's on your TV? Sports or Netflix?
🍁 Family games after or family naps?
🍁 Are we shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
You can really learn a lot about someone by some of their traditions, so what's this time of the year looking like for ya'll?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the different Thanksgiving traditions, what doesn't belong on the menu, the best desserts & what happens after you eat.

RE-EVALUATE THE SHIP
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
If we look back over our lives and see where we were compared to where we are now, most would agree that we've been incredibly blessed.
With those blessings comes a moral responsibility of blessing others who may not be doing as well as you are.
However...
📌 What happens when you feel like you're being taken advantage of?
📌 How do you measure when someone is abusing your kindness?
📌 How do you gauge when your help to someone else has become a burden for you?
📌 Where do we draw the line between being a "blessing" and becoming an enabler?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE boundaries, over-compromising, sacrifices, "reading the room," and the differences between being a blessing & being used.

REGULAR BLACK
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
I need yall to help us UN•THERAPIZE what we like to call "The Ye' Effect."
Those of us who follow pop culture are pretty well-informed on what "The Artist Formerly Known as Kanye West" has said or are familiar with the backlash from what he has said.
Now with all due respect to Ye', if someone feels offended by what you said, they have every right to respond by removing their support from you and those who choose to stand with you.
📌 However, what is our response when we feel offended & disrespected?
📌 Is there a way for us to effect change?
📌 How do we go about it?
📌 Where do we start?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the UN•Freedoms of speech, the backlash toward Ye' & his endeavors, how we've effected change, & if we genuinely care enough to make a difference.

THE BLOWER UPPER
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
We need ya'll to UN•THERAPIZE something for us...
📌 How do we determine the difference between characteristics that make us who we are & characteristics that we've created through experiences that we may not want to change?
📌 Which one is truly our personality?
📌 Is there a big difference between whom God made you be and whom you've designed yourself?
This knowledge of self is one of the deepest levels of understanding, and it takes patience to acquire.
📌 But who "really" has that kind of time to wait around while you find yourself?
📌 There has to be a difference between being patient and wasting your time, but what's that difference?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE conflict resolution, the responsibilities of healing, and the difference between being patient & wasting your time.

MISCHIEF NIGHT IN PHILLY
Hey UN•THEARPY Baes,
Before the dawn of social media, where some people have a platform to be anything they choose, the world had a specific day assigned for us to create and become an image of someone we were not.
You guessed it, one of our country's favorite times of the year is here, HALLOWEEN.
One of the most commercially & personally celebrated holidays where most people tap into their creative sides to become something they've always wanted to be while others protest the very existence of what they believe the day stands for.
However, is Halloween "really" that bad?
Of course, you have your pool of people who love being ghosts, goblins, and ax murderers with blood dripping from their knives…
But there are also superheroes, kings, princesses, doctors, and a host of other positive figures.
📌 Should we be critical about a day when people want to express themselves?
📌 Or do we have a moral responsibility to dig deeper to see if we are advertising something that has a greater meaning than we might see?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as your favorite UN•THERAPIST discuss the sub-cultural differences that exist about Halloween and the mindsets that have been created around a day that some see as evil while others see it as harmless family fun.

LEMON JELLO
UN•THERAPY Baes,
We all know adultery is a terrible act to commit upon a partner within a monogamous relationship.
However, for someone to commit adultery, they must be married first, right?
📌 Given that society is accepting lifetime partnerships, is marriage even on the table for some people?
📌 Can we truly trust someone to make a lifetime commitment to monogamous intercourse if we have adjusted our standards of what "forever" looks like within relationships?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE Ime Udoka's alleged indiscretions, infidelity within sports culture, how long is too long to wait for marriage, and lifetime commitments we make with people we may not want to spend the rest of our lives entangled to.

HIRE ME PINKY COLE
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
Although it has always existed, over the last few years, society has strongly emphasized speaking things into existence.
However, after talking to Coach, I legit have some questions...
📌 Where do we draw the line between someone exercising a life full of affirmations and someone being dishonest?
📌 How much grace do we give people expressing what they seek to become in life versus where they "actually" are?
📌 If those "manifestations" never come true, was it labeled dishonesty?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the accomplishments of Pinky Cole, Black entrepreneurship, the differences between manifestation, dishonesty, and advice to your future self.

COVER YOUR A$$ETS
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
There aren't many people I know that go into a marriage thinking about divorce, but some approach it as if it may happen eventually.
What's the big deal, though? A prenup & a postnup is just a piece of paper.
It doesn't mean I love you any less; I'm just protecting myself and my assets from future harm.
📌 Since marriage is a contract, what is one more piece of paper to sign?
📌 Although it seems logical to some, are we entering something new and preparing for failure?
📌 Can there ever be a "we" when we start by protecting the "I"?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE prenups, postnups, estate planning, trusts, and some of the decisions that go into protecting your assets.

EVERY NO IS NEGOTIABLE
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
Whether personal or professional, knowing what YOU have to offer increases your perceived value.
Identifying when what you have to offer is needed most may not only cause your value to appreciate but also increases your leverage.
But even though our leverage has increased:
📌Do we truly know how to negotiate what we are worth?
📌 Does fear cause us to shoot below our standard regarding what we know we can attain?
📌 Are we genuinely worth what we think we are?
📌 Whose appraisal is genuinely the right one?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE investing in yourself, negotiating your worth, leveraging your value & knowing when & how to say NO.

IT'S NOT ME, IT'S THEM
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
I need ya'll help to answer some questions 👇🏽
📌 Is there a difference between a flaw and an undesirable trait?
📌 Are there some things that are complete turnoffs that make YOU want to put total distance between yourself and others?
📌 What does it look like to project your insecurities onto someone else?
📌 What "really" turns a flaw into a flag?
📌 How much grace is too much when your peace is at stake?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE red flags, forgiveness, self-awareness, core values, and reactions to unfavorable treatment in society.

AYESHA CURRY WASN'T "TOTALLY" WRONG
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
⏪ Remember a few years back when Ayesha Curry was going off about how she wanted to be "seen" and may have wanted attention from others outside of her marriage, and social media DRAGGED her?
Well, thinking back on it, maybe everyone overreacted a bit.
📌 We all seek validation in some way, shape or form, but should there be limitations?
📌 Should we seek outside validation when we are in committed relationships?
📌 Is validation "really" as bad as people make it out to be?
📌 Is knowing something for yourself genuinely enough?
📌 Are validations truly rooted in insecurities?
📌 Should men do a better job of making women feel secure?
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the pros and cons of validation on social media, relationships, and within our everyday lives.

WHO'S GONNA CLEAN THE POOL?
Hey UN•THERAPY Baes,
Ladies, as we mature and elevate, so do the things we require when finding or desiring a potential partner.
I mean, who wants to be with someone who cannot meet their energy romantically and professionally?
Nevertheless, talking to Coach, I got to thinking, if the roles were reversed, would we as women be able to match that same energy toward the affluent and ambitious men we seek?
We have seen waves of accomplishments and have been growing by leaps and bounds in wisdom and ownership, but does the pool become smaller as we become "larger?"
Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE potential vs. reality, intent vs. attempt, and the requirements that shifted demand within the dating market.
