69. Returning to Your True Nature By Connecting With Nature
You know that feeling you have when you get away from your everyday life and just feel a sense of relaxation when you reach your destination?
In the hustle and bustle of our modern lives, we often find ourselves caught in a relentless routine, tethered to screens and schedules. Yet, there exists a sanctuary, a refuge that holds the power to rejuvenate our souls and mend the frayed threads of our well-being: nature.
In this episode, Matt and Jenn break down the healing benefits of nature on our body, mind and soul. Immersing oneself in the serene embrace of nature is not merely an indulgence; it is an essential act of self-care that nourishes the body, mind, and spirit. It is an invitation to step away from the noise of our daily lives and rediscover the profound harmony that exists in the natural world, and also in yourself.
We also talk about:
How we can use nature as a metaphor for life.
The most powerful lessons we each have received from nature.
How nature provides medicine for our spiritual, emotional and physical health.
Jenn's recent health scare and how Guatemala supported her physical health.

In this episode, Dr. Jenn talks about the importance of being able to change our minds. In our culture we're not often celebrated, or even encouraged, to change our minds and as a result we can put a lot of pressure on ourselves when it comes to making decisions and this pressure can often lead to avoidance. When we give ourselves permission to change our minds, we open ourselves up to possibility, which creates more expansion in our lives.

In this mini episode, Dr. Jenn gives an inside look into what messy, inspired action looks like in real time. Dr. Jenn touches on how perfectionism can express itself as procrastination and how the solution to procrastination is to simply take action, assuming that action is aligned with your core values. When you do that, you can trust that it will always be enough...even when it's not perfect!

34. The Power of the Pause
After nine months hiatus, Dr. Jenn is back and talking about the importance of creating space in our lives. She shares her journey and personal experience in 2020 and the lessons she learner by pulling ALL the way back and coming to a near standstill in her life. She also talks about how, when we embark on a journey of change and transformation, it is in the practice of pausing and creating space that we are given the opportunity to make new choices and that is how real change is created.
