As a Life and Mindset Coach, I aim to help people understand and not fear their emotions. In helping my clients discover their inner strengths and release whatever blocks are holding them back, they will begin to see and love the true person they were meant to be. I will help guide them to break away from the person society and outward influences have moulded them into.

I am simply sharing things I have been discovering about myself on my journey in order to help shed some light for others who may be feeling like I was.

Codependency is a complex dynamic where the enabler's support actually enables the dependent person to continue their harmful behavior. It can be tough to break this cycle without first recognizing the problem at hand. By acknowledging the patterns of behavior and understanding the roles each person plays in the relationship, we can start to unravel the codependent dynamic.

 Here are some key signs to be mindful of:

1. Excessive caretaking: Constantly putting others' needs before your own can be a red flag for codependent tendencies.

2. Lack of boundaries: Codependent relationships often lack clear boundaries, leading to blurred lines between where one person ends and the other begins. Difficulty saying no, feeling responsible for others' emotions, and feeling guilty when setting boundaries are common indicators of codependency.

3. Low self-esteem: Individuals caught in a codependent cycle may struggle with low self-worth and seek validation and approval from others to feel whole. This can manifest in seeking external validation, feeling unworthy of love or respect, and relying on others for a sense of identity.

4. Fear of abandonment: Codependent individuals may have an intense fear of being alone or abandoned, leading them to stay in unhealthy relationships or tolerate mistreatment in order to avoid being left on their own.

It is totally possible to break free from the cycle of codependency. It does require self-awareness, courage, and a commitment to personal growth. 

Tips that may help you navigate this journey towards healing and independence:

1. Self-reflection: Take the time to reflect on your patterns of behavior and relationships. Identify any codependent tendencies you may have and explore the underlying reasons behind them.

2. Set boundaries: Establish clear boundaries in your relationships and learn to prioritize your own needs and well-being. Practice saying no when necessary and communicate your boundaries assertively but compassionately.

3. Seek support: Reach out to a therapist, counselor, or support group to explore your codependent patterns in a safe and non-judgmental space. Professional guidance can provide valuable insights and tools for breaking free from codependency.

4. Focus on self-care: Invest in self-care practices that nurture your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Prioritize activities that bring you joy, fulfillment, and a sense of inner peace.

5. Cultivate self-love: Practice self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-love. Challenge negative self-talk and embrace your worthiness and inherent value as a unique individual.

Remember, breaking free from the cycle of codependency is a journey that requires patience, self-awareness, and a willingness to change. By taking proactive steps towards healing and growth, you can cultivate healthier, more balanced relationships and reclaim your sense of autonomy and empowerment. You deserve to live a life free from the chains of codependency and full of love, respect, and authenticity.

I am simply sharing things I have been discovering about myself on my journey in order to help shed some light for others who may be feeling like I was.


Codependency often takes root in the soil of our childhood experiences. Picture a young sapling, reaching desperately for sunlight, yet finding only shadows. Similarly, many of us grew up in homes where emotional nourishment was scarce, not because we were not loved, but its important to remember that our parents or caregivers are only capable of what they know.  We craved love and acceptance, but instead, we were met with neglect or inconsistency, because of many different factors. All of which we can really benefit from letting go of the feelings that may be holding us back due to this past upbringing. Today is the day you can start writing a different story for life and embrace healing and growth.

Lets jump forward to now, to the present moment, because this is where the story can change!! In the present, not past or future!!

Perhaps You find yourself entangled in relationships where your worth is tied to the validation of others.  Acknowledging this is crucial, with kindness!!

 You pour your energy into fulfilling their needs, often neglecting your own.


 But why? Because deep within, a wounded child still yearns for the love and approval denied in youth.

But here's the truth, my dear friend: You are worthy, fully and unconditionally.


 You do not need external validation to affirm your worth. It resides within you, waiting to be acknowledged and embraced.


The journey to healing begins with introspection. 

Take a moment to reflect on your childhood experiences.

 What patterns emerge?

 What unmet needs linger beneath the surface? 

Acknowledge them with compassion, for they shaped the person you are today.

Next, cultivate self-awareness.

 Notice when you feel the need to seek validation from others. 


Pause, remember so many good things come to us during the pauses when we learn to pause and feel our soul guidance, breathe, and remind yourself of your absolute worthiness. 

Practice setting boundaries, honoring your needs, and expressing your truth with courage and authenticity.

Healing from codependency is not a linear path. It requires patience, self-compassion, and a willingness to confront the shadows of the past. But with each step forward, you reclaim your power and rewrite the narrative of your life.

Remember, dear friends, you are not alone on this journey. 

Reach out to trusted friends, mentors,  therapists or myself for some chats for support. Surround yourself with love and understanding as you navigate the depths of your soul.

Common signs can include but are not limited too:

 By cultivating a deep sense of self-awareness and compassion, we can begin to unravel the patterns that keep us trapped in codependent relationships. Through mindfulness practices, meditation, and spiritual guidance, we can realign with our true essence and reclaim our power.

As we release the grip of codependency, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities and growth.  We all face moments of self-doubt, but with the right mindset and strategies, we can fearlessly work to  overcome them. 

Here are some practical steps examples to help you start building your confidence and breaking through your fear blocks!

 Embrace Your Strengths

Practice recognizing and embracing your strengths. 

Take a moment to reflect on your unique qualities, skills, and experiences. 

What are you good at? 

What accomplishments are you proud of? 

By acknowledging your strengths, you can start to shift your focus from what you lack to what you excel in.

 For instance, if you're a great listener, practice active listening in your daily interactions. By doing so, you'll not only boost your confidence but also enhance your relationships.

 Set Achievable Goals

Start small and gradually work your way up. 

Break down your larger goals into smaller, manageable tasks. 

For instance, if you want to improve your public speaking skills, begin by speaking up in smaller group settings or joining a local Toastmasters club. 

As you achieve these smaller goals, your confidence will naturally grow, and momentum and your desire will quickly move you forward to tackle more significant challenges.

Challenge Negative Self-Talk

Negative self-talk can be a significant barrier to building confidence.

 It's crucial to challenge and reframe those negative thoughts. 

When you catch yourself thinking, "I can't do this," replace it with a more empowering statement like, "I am capable of learning and growing." Practice positive affirmations daily and surround yourself with supportive individuals who believe in your abilities. 

Over time, you'll notice a shift in your mindset, allowing you to fearlessly pursue your goals.

Step Outside Your Comfort Zone

Building confidence often requires stepping outside your comfort zone. It's in those moments of discomfort that growth happens. Start by identifying one thing that scares you but aligns with your goals. It could be giving a presentation, trying a new hobby, or networking with professionals in your field. Push yourself to take that first step, and remember that even if things don't go perfectly, each experience is an opportunity for growth and learning.

The last point for today, remember to celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may seem. 

Acknowledge your progress and give yourself credit for stepping outside of your comfort zone. 

Celebrating your wins will reinforce positive feelings and motivate you to continue building your confidence

Remember, building confidence is a journey, and it takes time, courage and effort. By embracing your strengths, setting achievable goals, challenging negative self-talk, stepping out of your comfort zone daily, and celebrating your achievements, you can start building your confidence, even in the face of fear and self-doubt.

3 steps to help you start fearlessly  setting and enforcing boundaries in your life.

1. Clearly communicate your limits: Express your needs and limits to others in a clear and assertive manner. For instance, if you have a friend who frequently asks for favors that overwhelm you, you can kindly say, "I value our friendship, but I need to prioritize my own well-being right now. I won't be able to help with this favor."

2. Learn to say "no": It's important to recognize that saying "no" is not selfish but rather a way to honor your own boundaries. For example, if you're feeling overwhelmed with work and someone asks you to take on an additional project, you can respond by saying, "I appreciate the opportunity, but I'm currently at capacity and won't be able to take on any more projects."

3. Practice self-care: Prioritize self-care activities that help you recharge and maintain your emotional and physical well-being. This could include setting aside time for meditation, exercise, or engaging in hobbies that bring you joy. By dedicating time to self-care, you are setting a boundary around your personal well-being.

Setting boundaries is a continuous practice that requires self-awareness and self-compassion. It may take time to establish and enforce boundaries, but doing so will ultimately lead to healthier relationships and a more balanced life. Is it time for you to stop letting fear get in the way of LIVING YOUR AUTHENTIC LIFE?

What if that trauma and pain you are feeling was sent to you from the universe for a purpose?

The universe needs us to help others. What if we use the trauma and pain to help us find our inner strength and self love.

As we begin to sit with and visualize our pain and trauma as burning rock that has attached itself inside our body.  The ONLY place that trauma can live is INSIDE US.

It is our duty and purpose to feel the pain and recognize our strength as we visualize moving that trauma and pain UP and out of our body and into the universe. This may be difficult, you may have strong emotions as you move thst trauma up and up… That is the trauma fighting you because it knows it will die once it is forced out of your body. You are stronger than the feeling of that trauma. Once you release that trauma and pain into the universe the universe TRANSFORMS that pain into LOVE STRENGTH COMPASSION AND PEACE and YOU have just helped yourself abd the entire universes.  Those billions of pieces of smashed trauma are now spreading LIGHT AND STRENGTH to others who are experiencing pain like you did.


This meditation will guide you through a visualization that can help to release what is causing the pain.

Before Bed: End your day with positive reflections. Express gratitude and reaffirm positive intentions for the next day.

 

3 GRATITUDE 

Gratitude Journal: Keep a gratitude journal and write down three things you're thankful for each day. This practice helps shift your focus to the positive aspects of life.

Express Gratitude: Take moments to express gratitude verbally to others. It could be a simple "thank you" to someone who has helped you or expressing appreciation for the beauty around you.

4 BEING IN NATURE

Outdoor Breaks: Incorporate short outdoor breaks into your routine. This could be a walk in the park, sitting in a garden, or simply spending time in nature.

Connect with Elements: Spend time observing and appreciating nature's elements—earth, water, air, and sunlight. This can be grounding and uplifting.

 5 GIVING  

Random Acts of Kindness: Look for opportunities to perform random acts of kindness. It could be as simple as holding the door for someone or offering a kind word.

Volunteer Work: Allocate time to volunteer for a cause you care about. Giving back to the community can provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Share Knowledge: Share your skills and knowledge with others. This could be through mentoring, teaching, or helping someone with a task.

By the end of this podcast, you will better understand how to raise your vibrational frequency and the tools you can use to do so.

Remember that consistency is key when incorporating these practices into your daily routine. It's not about making drastic changes overnight but rather building habits that contribute to your overall well-being over time. Listen to your body and adjust these practices to suit your unique needs and preferences

Trauma and pain are sent to us to help us find our inner strength and self-love. In today's episode, I want to bring awareness to something I never understood until recently. A spiritual awakening does have to be a religious relationship. Discover what finding the "higher power" can mean if you are not feeling right referring to your higher power as "God" .


My spiritual awakening has brought such a shift in my life, helping me find my sense of purpose, reducing my intense daily life-destroying relationship with anxiety and helping me find my true self with a sense of pride and self-love. This journey has taken a huge turn, and it is something that needs to be shared by everyone! Is it time for YOU to break up with the life-destroying relationship you have with anxiety, shame, guilt, lack of self-love and so many other emotions finally, and LET GO OF WHAT NO LONGER SERVES YOU and START LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE AS THE TRUE UNIQUE YOU!
