Kevin, Jonathan and Jenna Williams are joined by Rideau-Vanier Ward 12 city councillor Stéphanie Plante, and Community Association/Action Sandy Hill Vice-Chair Calla Barnett.

In this episode we chat and share about some of the pressing issues in Stéphanie's ward, Rideau-Vanier, and most importantly solutions we all would like to see.

Kevin and Jonathan are back picking up an earlier conversation about the different ways to practice and work 12-Step programs. In economics, Gresham's law is a monetary principle stating that "Bad money drives out good if they exchange for the same price".

In AA, the author of this 1974 article from "24 magazine" argues that the "weak cup of coffee" or rather the program not practiced as intended has caused the AA fellowship to struggle, and recovery is not as strong as it used to be. Kevin and Jonathan share their thoughts on the article and how it can relate to 12-Step fellowships today.

Christopher Adam is the Executive Director of St. Joseph's Church in Ottawa. The Parish runs the St. Joe's Supper Table  community meal service and food bank, as well as the St. Joe's Women's Centre day program. In living the Catholic-Christian teaching of the Preferential Option for the Poor, St. Joe's recognizes the many faces of poverty and seeks to walk in solidarity with those on the margins of our society.

Josh is a longtime friend of Jericho Road and he and Kevin touch on what it means to have a spiritual awakening as a result of working the 12 steps.
