Jared Dangerfield joins the Flight after most recently playing for the Washington Valor. Dangerfield was one of the top WR in the AFL in 2019. Dangerfield played college football at Western Kentucky University and signed with the New Orleans Saints following his college career. His brother Jordan Dangerfield is currently a DB for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Jersey Flight Defensive Coordinator Alvin Ray Jackson spoke with broadcaster Nick Kosko about his transition from playing Arena Football for 13 seasons to becoming a coach with the Flight. Jackson recorded over 400 tackles and 42 interceptions during his Arena career.

Jersey Flight DL/LB Boqiao Li spoke with broadcaster Nick Kosko about his journey being a Beijing native who plays professional football in North America. Li was a member of the NFL International Pathway Program and is on the CFL Global Prospect List. Li was selected with the 2nd overall pick in the CAFL Draft. Li played for the Georgia Doom in 2019.

Edward "Sauce" Victorian joined broadcaster Nick Kosko on Episode 6 of the Jersey Flight Zoom Series. Sauce played for the Orlando Predators in 2019 where he was a dynamic play maker while on the roster. He also has been a member of the Cape Fear Heroes and High Country Grizzlies. #TakeFlight2021

DL/LB Calvin Fance spoke with broadcaster Nick Kosko about his decision to sign with the Jersey Flight. Fance has been a member of the Philadelphia Soul, Orlando Predators, Beijing Lions, and most recently the Albany Empire. Fance won ArenaBowl 32 with Albany in 2019. Fance joins a loaded Flight defense which features multiple former Philadelphia Soul players. 

DB Dwayne Hollis spoke with broadcaster Nick Kosko about the upcoming 2021 season. Hollis joins the Flight after spending five seasons with the Philadelphia Soul. He won two ArenaBowl Championships with the Soul, was named to All-Arena 4x during his career, and was the 2017 DB of the Year. Hollis signed with the Atlanta Legends of the AAF in 2019.

Sean Daniels spoke with broadcaster Nick Kosko. Daniels began his arena career with the Iowa Barnstormers, leading the team with six sacks. The following year Daniels signed with the Philadelphia Soul. With the Soul Daniels was named first team All-Arena in 2017, recording eight and a half sacks and forcing three fumbles. Following the season, Daniels was brought in for a workout with the Green Bay Packers. Daniels missed the 2018 season due to a severe injury but responded well in 2019 with the Soul, recording three sacks. Daniels won two ArenaBowl championships during his time with the Soul. He is the younger brother of Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Mike Daniels.

DL Jason Carr spoke with Broadcaster Nick Kosko about his career leading up to the 2021 season. Carr began his college football career at The University of Tennessee before transferring to West Georgia. Carr signed as an UDFA with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017. He also played in the CFL with Edmonton. Carr signed with the Atlanta Legends of the AAF in 2019.

Jersey Flight WR Larry Beavers joined broadcaster Nick Kosko for the 1st Flight Interview of 2021. Beavers began his professional career in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints. In the AFL he was a standout player on the New Orleans Voodoo and Cleveland Gladiators. In 2014 he recorded 1K receiving yards and 1K kick return yards. He was named 2nd Team All-Arena in 2014 & 2016. Beavers won an ArenaBowl championship with the Philadelphia Soul in 2017 and an AAL championship with the West Virginia Roughriders in 2019. He is from Annapolis Maryland and is actively involved in his community. Interview produced by SFBN.

Head Coach Terrence Foster spoke with Nick Kosko about the 2021 NAL season, This interview was recorded following the NAL's announcement the 2020 season had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Foster is an experienced coach and had a successful playing career in Arena Football. In 2002 Foster played for the Grand Rapids Rampage formerly of the AFL. The 2021 National Arena League season is poised to be one for the history books. The league has added four new franchises, in Albany New York, Baltimore Maryland, Louisville Kentucky, and Tampa Bay Florida.

Quarterback Danny Southwick spoke with Nick Kosko on a Zoom video call on April 24th. Southwick has been playing Arena Football since 2008 and is one of the most respected veterans in the sport. #TakeFlight2021

Quarterback Warren Smith and Wide Receiver Brandon Renford spoke with Nick Kosko on a zoom call on April 21. Warren and Brandon played together in 2017 with the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. That season Smith was named the NAL MVP, and Renford was awarded 2nd Team All-NAL. #TakeFlight2021 

Offensive Lineman Keith Newell spoke with Play-by-Play Broadcaster Nick Kosko on a zoom video call in April. Newell spent five seasons with the Philadelphia Soul and is a Trenton native. #TakeFlight2021

Milton Williams III joins the Jersey Flight after spending three seasons with the Baltimore Brigade. Prior to his time with the Brigade,  Williams was with the Oakland Raiders in 2015. Williams played college football at Delaware State University. #TakeFlight2020

Nathan Isles was a member of the Seattle Seahawks practice squad in 2014 following his collegiate career at North Carolina A&T. That season, the Seahawks made the Super Bowl. Isles went on to spend time in the CFL before joining the NAL in 2017 with the Columbus Lions, appearing in the NAL Championship. Last season, Isles played for the Columbus Destroyers (AFL) where he played next to fellow Flight signing Donell Andrews.

New Jersey native Dashown Waller holds the Jersey Flight franchise record for most touchdowns by a wide receiver in a single game with 6 against the Roughriders on 5/26/18. Waller is back for the 2020 campaign and talked about his previous experiences and expectations for the Jersey Flight season in an interview.

Before joining the Flight, Coach Menas was the head coach at Oakland University. During his time at Oakland University, the program went 23-1 and won the NFCA National Championship in 2016. For his efforts that season, Menas was named the NFCA Coach of the Year.

Menas was also the defensive line coach when the Toronto Argonauts won the Grey Cup Championship in 2004. Prior to his coaching career Menas played collegiality at Kansas State University and went on to play for the Detroit Lions.

Keith Newell attended Trenton Central High School and has had a successful career in Arena Football including two championships with the Philadelphia Soul. Newell spoke about how it feels to be playing in his hometown and his expectations for the 2020 season in this interview.

Veteran quarterback Danny Southwick has been playing Arena Football since 2008, and the Flight will be the 18th professional football organization in his football journey. Southwick is extremely accomplished off the field, with a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. He’s currently pursuing his PhD at Penn.

South Jersey native Sean Daniels spoke about what intrigued him about playing for the Jersey Flight in this interview. The Temple University graduate can’t wait to play in the State Capitol at Cure Insurance Arena, in front of all the Jersey fans.

Warren Smith called into the Jersey Flight Podcast the day after he was signed and spoke about continuing his career as an Arena Football quarterback in his home state of New Jersey. 

Smith is a former National Arena League MVP who is one of the most highly regarded quarterbacks in Arena Football. Smith teaches and coaches football at his Alma mater Lacey Township High School in New Jersey.
