Hi! I am Jessica Brown Atkinson and this is my journey of health from the standard American diet known as ( the S.A.D.) to what I believe is more in line with my beliefs including the scripture from Doctrine and Covenants 89 known as The Word of Wisdom (W.O.W.). And wow! I am not sad! Less depressed and less self-loathing.
I discuss my superheroes in Jane Birch and Discovering the Word of Wisdom: surprising insights from a whole food plant-based perspective, all the wfpb Doctors including Joel Fuhrman, John McDougall, Michael Greger, and Dr. Susan Peirce Thompson with Bright Line Eating.

So excited to have more support around eating fruit-based!:) And i get a mentor who is familiar with the amazing science-backed structure of Bright Line Eating (thank you Dr Susan Peirce Thompson!!:) And my awesome mentor friend who has lost over 100 pounds and has been living in her right-sized bright body for over 2 years!:) So thankful i didn't stop learning about health wellness. I'm excited to keep progressing!:)

Hi! Just popped in to say hello! And bore my daughter and her friends lol. Life is so good for me when I have a food plan. I have more head space to progress in my life, less negative self talk, and more self respect.

My list of WHYs that I keep by my bed and read and add to often in order to stay on track! When your WHY is bigger than your how (from my Mary Kay training a few years ago:))! You can make it happen. Remember your reasons for the change you want to make and (like Jodi Moore with Better than Happy(used to be Bold New Mom, love her podcast, she inspired me!!)) She talks about finding your motivation by finding the reasons and one that is especially emotional for you will help you to make a permanent change.
