I traveled to Los Angeles for a guest spot on @lestalkradio with @chelleychellesig and to connect with soooooo many inspiring and dope asf queer womxn of color. These folks are curating spaces for a demographic that often finds it hard to just BE in the spaces available, and to be more wholly understood. In addition to recounting my charmed visit, I delve deeply into a shorty story in the "Bloodchild" collection, called The Evening and the Morning And the Night. It's a reading of an hour and some, so skip to the last segment if you're not up for that just yet.

Today, an answer to Question 2 of 30: Why so Distant? A listener in know personally asked this question weeks ago, and in answering, being the most trasnparant and vulnerable, I came to compose this sort of love letter to someone special. An ode to who and what they are to me, an ode to women who love women, and an ode to love in the Grey Area. This is also the first appearance of our Unicorn Tales segment!
