Just finished building my new favorite terrain kit for Kill Team and even larger games of 40k. Let's talk about it!!!

In this episode I give my basic template of how much train you should probably have to get started with your games of Warhammer 40K I also recommend different ways to build your board up in different types of terrain you should feature on your tabletop to make your games more fun and exciting for beginners intermediate players in season veterans alike.

Simply what the title of the episode states. For a lot of new players including myself back in the day I was really confused about how command points stratums and battleforged armies worked coming from the core rule book open play missions. This episode will shed some light and hopefully dispel some of the mystery that these different features of the game bring, and hopefully give you a little bit of a tactical advantage and a new flavor to add to your games of Warhammer 40K

I take this time to give insight on three steps that I've taken to win more Warhammer that I wish I would have known or would have wished to know and how to put into words getting started in this wonderful hobby and game.

I go over a full overview of how to play your first game of Warhammer 40k and what to expect during each of the phases of the game. This can be used alongside the core book, the free PDF of core rules you receive, or wherever you might have acquired rules for Warhammer 40k. I touch on the basic understanding of what all can be done in each phase of the game, and I talk about the advanced rules and scenarios that might come up and cause problems for starting players.

In this episode I go over what I believe to be the top five armies that beginners should consider playing with for the game of Warhammer 40k and Warhammer 40k kill team. I approached this from a budget consideration and also for an overall beginning theme for the different factions.

In this episode I go over how I got started playing the Imperial Guard or Astra Militarum for the game of Warhammer 40k. Using my experience and knowledge now, I tell you how I should have gotten started on a budget playing the guard, and what I recommend that you should get started with as a good foundation and then how to build yourself up on a budget.

Let's talk about the Strategic and Tactical Ploys available to the Space Marines and how you can use them for your games of Kill Team!

I give the lowdown on the best fire team for the space marine faction found within the compendium. I go over my reasons why I think is probably the most flexible and adaptable team to bring to the table and how I discover them and the successes I've had with the team itself.

I go into probably more detail than I should about the space marine faction and what data sheets I think are relevant for new players to the faction and new players to kill team. I explain the different ploys available within the compendium and how to use them within your games and how to understand them on a basic level to help you win more. Arguably the first and most important step you need to take in your financial health journey is planning a budget for you and/or your family unit. Knowing is half the battle and when you can develop a good budget that fits within your means and that you actually agree to and feel comfortable with it's going to bring you a lot more peace in your life and allow you to feel less stressed out about where your money is going month and month. Let me share with how I would go and construct a budget from the ground up!

I dive into whether or not I think the new box for kill team is worth your time and your money. I go over what can be found in the box and go over comparable sources to understand if you're actually getting your money's worth!

I go into probably too much depth on how I love the card Azorius charm and how you are underutilizing it in your casual and budget decks! Not only is this card a good piece of removal but it's also flexible to get you out of a tight spot!

This episode I go into probably too much detail over one of my favorite all-star angels that I've played In many of my casual and starter decks. I explain the power that actually comes with Serra Angel and how you can make her work for your decks!

This episode I go over the template I use whenever I am first constructing a magic the gathering deck. This is aimed towards new / casual players who are wanting to build their first or second magic decks, or establish players looking for an easier way to build kitchen table decks for their friends to play with. I have used the template over the years, and have done some tweaking to it and some changes to it, but has helped tremendously to making it feel like I am playing more magic and having more of an impact on the game while still being able to stay fairly budget and fairly focused!

For new and existing players getting new players in!

I give you some of my insights as somebody transferring from kill team 2018 to kill team 2021. I share some of the challenges I've had with the new system, but overwhelmingly share some of the positive insights I see with this new system now that I've gotten to try a few games out. I also provide advice around what peripherals are needed to actually play and engage the game as somebody coming over to it brand new or from the old system!

I dive into the basics of building an effective manabase on a budget. I explain some of the cards that I have used personally and building kitchen table magic decks and my journey of upgrading those to more optimized and competitive mana bases for formats like modern.
