In this debut episode of The Human Report we take a look at eight different categories of human endeavor, sixty-three different activities common to human behavior and examine the raw data, the human footprint each day and each year as it happens, in real time.
This will be a new edition to the Speaking Out Podcast, a weekly update filled with interesting information that will make you think about just how big our impact is on planet earth, and in strange way, how truly small we are in the big scheme of things.
I hope you enjoy this report.
History doesn’t lie.
It is absolutely true that less than two-hundred years ago black people were bought and sold and it was a perfectly legal transaction. It is absolutely true that humanity is capable of doing such horrible things to his fellow human.
What also is tragic is that for thousands of years Africans sold their brother and sisters to other tribes, to the highest bidder. Human labor was a commodity.
There are a few reasons why the Black men seemed to fall victim more often to slavery than most other peoples, part of it geographical, part of it had to do with climate, but most of it was because Africa is such a large place, there were just too many settlements, tribes, cultures, languages and traditions that never coalesced into a cohesive core continental government, where a single, common language could have given the African a better way to fight off his neighbors to the north as the Dutch, Spaniards, Middle Eastern and English others came to subjugate the individual tribes while poaching laborers, setting them apart from one another.
In this edition of Speaking Out with Jim Watkins we look at the contributing factors to the demise of the Black American male in the latter half of the 20th Century. If we are having a real debate about Racism in America we need to have a discussion that includes what I call are the four or five confluences that worked against Black males in America.

Who is Joe Vinas? He is the prosecutor who helped to convict George Floyd for a 2007 home invasion robbery in Houston that involved George as the chief suspect (several men were also involved).
The case pleaded out and George would serve five years in federal prison, and the attorney joins us to discuss the case and his thoughts on the Floyd incident in Minneapolis that led to his death.

Once corporately controlled, now fully free to speak my mind, today's topic.
Pushing Back against Wokeism and the totalitarian rule of the Left who want to silence free speech, brainwash our children into hating the U.S., and who think they are in the majority. But wait. What about the Silent Majority? They are we, and we must push back because we, the silent majority understand the price that was paid so we could have freedom and the right to free thought, free speech and the exchange of free ideas. When the truth is supressed, you are no longer free., that is the subject of this podcast.
Howard Stern is next after a long line of people who were fighting for the Left, until they realized that the Left eat their own. Goodbye Howard!

China is asserting itself and it has also (willfully or otherwise) created a p[andemic that has crippled governments around the world. Now, they take on Hong Kong, hoard supplies and are building up forces on its western border with India and in the South China Sea.
There are eerily similar comparison we could make with the the beginnings if World War II.
In this podcast we take a look at the possible motive behind the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis which sparked a riot across the country. The officer who "necked" the suspect for allegedly forging checks forces us to look at why African Americans feel targeted in this country. We also look at how the media uses these incidents to fan the flames of racism across the country and politicize such events as to exacerbate the issue even further.

If we change the word progressive to magical, we understand that many progressive ideas are often based on non-reality, i.e., magic. It's sad really, and in this episode we try to understand why people become magical thinkers in the first place.

What do you call it when young children are taught nihilism?
The parents of Greta Thunberg and other children like her are being brainwashed into believing the world will end unless we immediately go back to the pre-Industrial Age. What will happen to these kids as they grow? How will their nihilistic worldview affect their social development, not to mention it will have on society at large.

Also, how is it that China is now more religious than we are?
The desire to search for God is hardwired into our DNA. It is why there are so many religions in the world - each an expression of our devotion to the truth about our kinship with God, and is what challenges the authority of the Communist Party.
In this episode, we exlore the challenges of living an earthly life, pitfalls and joys, but always struggle. Dr. Jordan Peterson offers ideas worth considering on Urantia Radio as it pertains to risk vs reward, even in matters of faith.
