I give a rapid-fire update on my new upcoming cinema-centered podcast, express my enthusiasm for my ever so multi-talented friend Jordyn's podcast appearance which is around the corner, get giddy over preparing to catch my all-time favorite rock group live, and honoring the legendary Sir Paul McCartney's 81st birthday (June 18, 1942) early with my rendition of his sparky hit which is also the title of the 1973 James Bond classic "Live and Let Die".

Fellow listeners, a major announcement is brought to you out of nowhere: Happy birthday to my astounding mom, Rosa Maria. Born on this day (June 8) as the daughter to my wonderful grandparents and sacrificial loving mother to me and my sister from my ass-pain dad for thirty years. Hear me shower her in affection with three awesome renditions of the loudest and sweetest. Hear my words, children: LOVE YOUR MOM. Also within this drop, I am officially starting a new podcast. It's basically me and whoever I invite on to dive deep into whichever work of cinema we have a common cutch for in the duration of 45-120 minutes. Coming to a podcast platform near you on June 26.

Greetings, fellow listeners. Welcome to the month of June. It's crazy to imagine how fast time flies and how quickly things in the world change for the "Meh". But other than that, what other way to start off the sunshiny sixth month than for you to feast your ears to the sound of Mariano Oliver returning for a fourth time to chow down on a platter of mouth-watering beef stroganoff conjured up by my culinary sorceress mom, whom aside from my dad is present alongside us for this gourmet get which suddenly turned into an unexpected brainstorm for me to create a new film-based podcast in which I can use all my limitless knowledge of cinema to babble on about with other fellow film fanatics and probably make a profit off of it. This spew show features a double encore with a double dedication: Led Zeppelin masterpiece "Stairway to Heaven" for my brother-in-crime Rene Rivero's 45th birthday today (June 1) and the somber and sweet Springsteen piece "My Father's House" from his masterful melancholic album "Nebraska" to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the passing of Mariano's father (June 2, 2001).

Ahoy, fella eargoers. A mighty squall be-a brewin' as ye hear me rave on about absolute muck as it always be and then blowin' ya down with lil' known ditty titled "November Rain" from a peculiar people goin' by the name Guns N'Roses.

Fellow listeners, I'm in mourning. Reassure me as I gush out my pain and sorrow over a very great friend of mine who took his own life exactly two weeks ago today and I reminisce on all the the greatness of his nature and the good and wonderful times we had together. Honor his memory with me by tearing up to "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" by Boys II Men (Note: If you hear sniffling and stifled crying in the background, please understand).

Greetings, fellow listeners. If you thought I wasn’t up with the times, brace yourselves for what may be the most out-of-touch jib-jab to have taken place. This convo is ear candy to all youse freakin’ Gen Z punk heads because me and my old fart co-host folks try to understand the millennial minds of guests forty-nine through fifty-one: Team Coneheads members Bryan Howard, Caroline Findeisen, and Casey Puett. Topics discussed in the chitchat besides bowling: the trio being completely unfamiliar with the classic SNL sketches which are the names of the teams in their league, living life on the lanes, attempting to befriend equals from my so-called “generation”, trying to understand the popular common trends of this new day and age, finding out whether we have certain common interests or not, and understanding more about Carol’s situation living with the effects of Crohn’s disease.

Guess what, fellow listeners? IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! I've been living and breathing on this planet for 23 years since May 2, 2000 and I still don't relate with the people of my generation and yet I can miraculously edit the audio of my podcast on the computer. Anyways, I had a marvelous shindig in my backyard with friends and family flooded with Mexican catering and made this episode that's made up of four separate conversations with special guests forty-one through forty-eight: Team More Cowbell, Tim, Austin and Joe, and Robert. Afterwards, I rendition "The Scientist" by Coldplay as my big encore.

Bonjourno, fellow listeners. Polish your auditory canals and wind up your ears because I'm about to STRIKE up a cool conversation with Vince Bouza, Bird Bowl buddy o'mine and fortieth guest of the pod. We go on for whatever time we have dishing on his time served in the Army and transitioning to computer work after resigning, life on the lanes, living nerdy at thirty, recently getting hitched to his sweetheart and plotting out the rest of their lives together.

Greetings, fellow listeners. Feast your ears on what is now officially my all-time favorite jibber jabber of the podcast with somebody who outstandingly fascinates me. Not only is she the pod's thirty-sixth guest, but she's also a real great friend of mine. Jennifer Mendes and I first came together at Tea & Poets nearly two months ago and each of us saw something in the other that sparked a sturdy-going friendship despite her being a first-born millennial. We go on for what's usually the duration of our typical phone calls about how we first met and clicked, her taking on the roles of a full-time employee and all-time mom to two highly intelligent and independent girls, and we dish out on common interests and unfamiliar territories. However, this also happens to be probably the most awkward situation I've ever been placed in because Jen's eldest daughter Ari (Thirty-seven) tags along and my Aunt Mercedes (Thirty-eight) and Uncle Patricio (Thirty-nine) from Mexico joins in the chit-chat and I totally didn't plan on spinning the bottle on either one of them. But what the hell? Such is life.

Greetings, fellow listeners. It's been ages since we had a guest on the pod and this one planted a self-reflective implant in my brain. Cristina Ramirez, the pod's thirty-fifth guest, sits down with us to talk about crossing paths at Hole in the Wall, our mutual acquaintance with my old high school geometry teacher and bowling coach, teaching English and journalism to high schoolers, participating in awareness for Autism, and her incredible transition from film major to journalism major. Not only was this a really neat conversation, but it felt like an unexpected breakthrough at a therapy session.

By giving y'all a recap of who I happily met at MegaCon 2023 in Orlando over April Fools Day Weekend. I then pay my deepest respects to the tragic passing of tormented music legend Kurt Cobain who died 29 years ago on this very day (Also my cool friend Mike Perez's birthday who ironically turned 27, the age Kurt was when he died) with my rendition of RHCP's spectacular hit "The Heavy Wing" from one of their most recent albums "Unlimited Love".

It was two years ago this past Monday (February 20, 2021) when we launched into the pod-verse which started as just me and my dad sitting in front of a computer talking into a Blue Snowball microphone babbling BS for 10-15 minutes and then evolved into having 45-120-minute full-length in-depth conversations with people who really interest us and it's been an incredibly awesome on-going ride that's never going to stop. Celebrate with us while we acknowledge what we've accomplished so far with a little D&S one-on-one and an encore with "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen.

Today is the day when Cupid shoots his arrows into your anuses and you fall for the gal or guy of your dreams and you shower them in chocolates and candies and flowers and smooches. NOT ME! I give an update about being stricken once again with COVID last week and now dealing with the burden of passing it on to my grandparents and now my mom. (born February 9, 1943).

We scratch the surface with first meeting at Tea & Poets, bonding through our love of RHCP and jamming to them at the same concert together, gushing out on music and learning the functions of band work and promotion, and sharing our individual destiny plans. Greetings, fellow listeners. This familial affair was captured on the voice memo app on my phone in the dining room of my grandparents' house for a grand occasion. Me and my mom sit down with both my grandfolks to discuss my grandmother's birthday today (January 26) and our plans to celebrate with her and how I'll never be able to forget her birthday coinciding with the tragic death of basketball legend Black Mamba himself, Kobe Bryant (January 26, 2020). Hear me serenade Tita with my rendition of "Something" by the Beatles, followed by "Chances Are" by lover boy Johnny Mathis. 

Happy belated Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, fellow brothers and sisters of all races from all places. What you're about to hear was a total gas and an absolute dream come true for me. This unforgettable get-together is made up of favorite recurring guest Rene Rivero (Sixth appearance), neighbor and great friend Mariano Oliver (Third appearance), and Outrageous owner and bruda Bob Sandler (Second appearance). We all catch up and get acquainted with each other over an exquisite Mexican cuisine whipped up by my culinary sorceress mom who partakes in this shindig along with Doc in which unspoken family truths are revealed which make me question the current life I'm living and we four broskis gush out on common pop culture interests. A quadruple encore is presented at the end with R&B legend Stevie Wonder's hit "Happy Birthday" to commemorate the late doctor, the main theme to the dystopian classic "Escape from New York" in honor of the 75th birthday of horror master John Carpenter, my renditioning of  "My Hero" by the Foo Fighters and "A Little Help From My Friends" by the Beatles. It's nothing but overlapping conversation, which makes it sound like captured audio of a Robert Altman film.

A most enduring conversation was captured on the voice memo app on my phone in the confined quarters of Jack Katsikos, my pub pal and the thirty-first guest of the podcast. This tenuous talk entraps Jack's limitless knowledge on the arts, philosophy, political beliefs, and keeping up to date with what's going on in the world. Start off this new chapter in your lives by tuning your ears to catch the newest episode of the pod returning after a three-week absence due to yours truly being stricken with Type A flu.  This rapidly recorded convo was captured on my phone's voice memo app in which me and my folks recap the highs and lows of 2022 and what lies in store for the next 365 days. Also, jam out to the new year with me honoring the 50th anniversary (released January 5, 1973) of the release of the debut albums of rock legends Aerosmith (self-titled) and Bruce Springsteen ("Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.") and my rendition of Foo Fighters hit "Everlong" (Note: My voice may sound like I have marbles in my mouth because I was brushing my teeth in the middle of recording).

Me, Doc, and my mom converse quickly on the follow-up of the ultrasound on my upper right quadrant the day before and if my stomach is able to hold down the contents it ingests and whether or not I can go back to enjoying my favorite meaty, sugary, carb-filled goods without puking my guts out. I then wrap up the week with my rendition of "Weird" Al Yankovic's "Livin' in the Fridge"  (Parody of Aerosmith "Livin' on the Edge") as a melodic middle finger to all of those who are able to chow down and not hurl.

Doc gives his opinion on Rapaport's comedic style and I recall me and Rene getting stupidly lucky meeting Rapaport at the club entrance and fanboying like crazy. We also talk about my current condition of having chest pains with my gastrointestinal problems and an extremely nasty scenario involving my sister voiding her bowls on the rug in my bathroom the day before. Also, I mention numerous movie anniversaries and famous birthdays and apologize to my dad through the mellowness of Da Boss with his underrated piece "My Father's House" from his album "Nebraska".

Chadwick Boseman (born November 29, 1976) by spinning "Try Me" by the Godfather of Soul himself James Brown, who Chadwick marvelously portrayed in the biopic "Get On Up", and honoring the 21st anniversary of the passing of legendary Beatle George Harrison (died November 29, 2001) by laying down a Beatle masterpiece, "Here Comes The Sun". A kindly happy thanksgiving to all families and friends across the good ol' U.S. of A devouring your cornucopias and expressing their thanks and gracefulness to those who've traveled from near and afar to be with them on this charitable day, amongst those include Edgar Gonzalez, my best friend since second grade who I love like a brother. During the course, we cover a vary of topics ranging from Robert returning to Miami seven years ago this past Tuesday, the current status of his homeland since the passing of Her Majesty and the new Prime Minister stepping in, and honoring the 83rd birthday of legendary comedy giant John Cleese by reading a lost sketch from his pre-Monty Python work "At Least The 1948 Show" in his memoir "So, Anyway..." and signing off with a harmonious rendition of the universally-known ditty "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life", the hit theme from comedy gem "Monty Python's Life of Brian", written by Python member Eric Idle.

Greetings, fellow listeners. Favorite recurring guest Rene Rivero has officially joined the Fiver Timers Club in the lengthiest episode we've done so far. Over a scrumptious fondue and red wine dinner, we recount getting severely burned by Roastmaster General for the second time recently, listen to Rene spin swell globetrotting anecdotes, and we glide all over the place with our views of extraterrestrial life in the galaxy and whether time travel and multiverses and superpowers are possible and our different theories for what the universe is and whether the afterlife taking place after death is possible.

Previous guest and fellow neighbor Enzo Pineiro returns to the podcast accompanied by his friend Javier Camacho who, believe it or not, is the twenty-eighth guest of the podcast (Just coming back from getting themselves tattooed at Miami Beach). Enzo and I catch up with each other the last time he was on the pod, I've never met Javi before so I get to know more about him, and we all share our opinions of the latest and most badass season of "Cobra Kai" which is now on Netflix. Also, Mom drops in the chitchat halfway through after dealing with the maintenance man to get to know Enzo a bit more and to have a little peak at their freshly-printed tattoos.

This episode was recorded on the voice memo app on my phone from the quietness in the dining hall of Bird Bowl while my mom and I deep dive with the pod's twenty-seventh guest, local international bowling star Jim Porter. We go chakra-deep with Jim as we discuss his longtime tenure in the strike and spare biz, his three-decade long globetrotting expedition in over thirty countries, absorbing the culture and religion of every country he's settled in, and his brave and incredible battle fighting lifelong obesity and colon cancer. To thank Jim for being a swell conversation companion, I serenade him with a well-known tune from his youth, "El Paso" by Marty Robbins.

I, Son, venture solo for the thirty-fourth time as I give y'all a recap of the RHCP concert the previous week when I was in a state of pure euphoria jamming with a super fine gal to a group of old fogies who've managed not to lose their groove after four decades of rocking and bopping. I also express my enthusiasm for the new season of Cobra Kai which comes out on Netflix this Friday, same day as GOAT Adam Sandler's 56th birthday, now that's what I call "perfect timing". Hear me sing my excitement for the upcoming season and joy of sharing the awesomeness of the concert with you Jordyn with my rendition of RHCP's mellow hit "The Zephyr Song" from their album "By The Way" (Note: I was singing the song until I had to start over again because I messed it up halfway through).

I return to venture by myself for the thirty-third time by sharing my pride and passion of exceeding the 100th episode mark of the podcast and to continue producing more episodes, breaking the news of getting VIP tickets to see Jeff Ross for the second time and Kevin Smith for the third time in Orlando for a screening of "Clerks III" in October, and I share with you my excitement for the upcoming RHCP concert next week with my versions of their hit song " By The Way" from their eponymous album and "Black Summer" from their most recent album "Unlimited Love".

We discuss what we've done to celebrate his 84th year living on this planet, talk about his and my grandmother's slow and tedious physical rehabilitation for the past seven months, shower him with flattery of him being the best grandfather and father that ever existed, and I honor his existence with singing "Unchained Melody" by Elvis and "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon (Note: 30 seconds halfway in the conversation is missing due to technical errors. Feast your ears on this gobsmacking chit chat, fellow listeners! Robert Sealey, aka English Bob, has returned to the scene of the pod after a lengthy absence of sixth months. Whilst still connected with each other via cellular device, last we'd encountered ourselves was at my birthday celebration three months prior. Glad to rekindle with a swell ol' chap and delighted that father was able to partake in the colloquy to display his knowledge and fascination in British history and culture to Robert and we express our dismay on cancel culture. Never have I ever felt so gay (In the most non-homosexual way possible) to be reacquainted with a jolly good ol' chum. We also pay our respects to late comedy legend Robin Williams on what today is the eighth anniversary of his tragic passing.

Greetings, fellow listeners. Rene Rivero, my favorite recurring guest, comes back on the pod for the FOURTH time! While we keep in contact, we haven't seen each other since my birthday party three months ago and I'm so happy to have him back. Mom joins in on the conversation of us catching up with each other in which we fill Rene in on missing out on me getting sick from smoking the Nicaraguan cigar that he brought for me on my birthday, what he's been going through with financing and parenting for the past three months, and babbling idiotically about wanting conspiracies, time travel, and extra-terrestrial beings to be real as ever. All this goes on whilst we feast gloriously on Mexican cuisine. 

Guess what, fellow listeners? WE'VE MADE IT TO EPISODE 100!!! Starting almost a year and a half ago with just a Blue Snowball microphone hooked up to a laptop, the format has expanded from me and my dad talking about a certain subject for 5-20 minutes to talking with other people for 45-120 minutes about anything interesting.
