In today's episode, I sat down with Kamshuka. She is an author, International keynote speaker and certified life coach. Recipient of the 2010 Aroni award for commitment to youth and entrepreneurship, and winner of The 2014 Black Canadian Best Photographer Award. In today's episode, I sat down with Randy Blake aka Tooncrew. He is a digital artist and illustrator using Hip Hop portraits to pay tribute to the culture and speak to moments of significance in pop culture and politics. Marsha Druker is the founder of Fuckup Nights Toronto! She first discovered the platform while living and working abroad in Tel Aviv. Before this event, she had never seen or experienced people telling their stories of failures so honestly and openly. Since that night, it sparked something in her and wanted to continue going to these types of events when coming back to Toronto, but to her surprise, it hadn't existed. So she took it upon herself to create it, and since then it has exploded in the city! Yvonne Stanley is an international photographer based in Toronto. She began her career working with film and dark rooms and has taken on many creative roles since then. Joshua Tubbs, is the founder of a digital media and film agency called Customatic. From a very young age Joshua knew he was destined for greatness, he was extremely creative and whatever he put his mind to he excelled. He began his creative journey with traditional drawings, but eventually began his move to airbrush art medium. His love for movies at the tender of four is where his love for film was born. Since then Joshua has been obsessed with storytelling, documenting, and creating original video content with friends and family. He has grown a successful brand that has worked with fortune 500 companies, major brands, celebrities and more. Kelsey Williams aka KillaKels is one of Toronto's top DJ's! Her love for music drew her to follow her passion and take that leap of faith to pursue her DJing career. Louise Mangalino, also known as "The Head Barbie In Charge" is the founder and creator of Burger Pawty. Her love for burgers evolved when she started her own burger blog, BURGERS AND BARBIE$, back in 2010. Through that blog, Louise was able to channel her love for food, fashion, music and photography all in one place. After some time of doing burger reviews, she had yet to see a pink style burger and she was ready to be the one to bring it to life. The opportunity was hers for the taking and nothing was going to hold her back. Louise knew that she wanted to create something that was unique, cute, tasty and of course, pink. Storyteller, comedian, film director, and all around dope creative entrepreneur, Adrian Wallace is the guy to know. Adrian shares his story on creating one of Toronto's most talked about web series (courtside series) on youtube. He began this series to share a story about community, youth, the reality of what teens face when having to choose between the hustle and education, and so much more.
