Joe Talks Comics

This week Joe talks with writer David M. Booher about his new Dark Horse Comics mini-series, Ghostbusters: Back in Town.

It was a lot of fun to chat with David about all things Ghostbusters, including his process of making the comic, so I hope you enjoy, and it convinces you to read the series!

The first two issues of the series are out now, with the third and fourth issues out in May and June respectively, so make sure to pick them up and support the series if you're interested!

This week, Joe and Mighty Lee's Comics talk with creator Juni Ba about his new DC Black Label mini-series, The Boy Wonder, starring Damian Wayne and guest-starring a different Robin with each issue.

The Boy Wonder #1 comes out May 7th, so make sure to buy it from your local comic store, or wherever you get your comics, and support the series and Juni Ba!

Mighty and I got to read the first two issues early and loved them, so we definitely recommend you pick them up!

This week, Joe and Mighty Lee's Comics talk with creators Rob Williams and Pye Parr about their Image Comics book, Petrol Head.

Petrol Head Vol. 1, the trade paperback collecting the first 5 issues of the series, is out June 4th, so make sure to order it from your local comic shop, or wherever you get your comics and trades!

This week Joe talks with his friend NorseFury about Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic's Thor epic, The Saga of Gorr the God Butcher. 

This storyline is from the first 11 issues of Marvel series Thor: God of Thunder from 2012, which kicked off what would become a modern classic run on the character written by Jason Aaron.

All 11 issues were written by Aaron and lettered by Joe Sabino. Ribic drew and inked #1-5 and #7-11, with Butch Guice drawing #6 and Tom Palmer inking it. Coloring on #1 was by Dean White, and then coloring on #2-11 was by Ive Svorcina. 

This week Joe and Mighty Lee's Comics talk with one of their favourite creators, Michael Dialynas, about his new comic, Zawa + The Belly of the Beast, published by Boom! Studios.

Zawa + The Belly of the Beast #1 is out now, so go check it out at your local comic store if you're interested! It's written, drawn, colored and lettered by Dialynas. The synopsis for the issue is as follows:

This week Joe celebrates Halloween by talking with creator Danny Baram, the writer of indie comic Halloween Team, drawn by Matt Shults.

All 6 issues were colored by Frank D'Armata, and the Annual was colored by Matt Milla. Finally the series was lettered by Travis Lanham and the main covers were all by Zdarsky.
